I won't email you the specifics but I will let you know that your server brought sweetener for an alcoholic beverage in order to make the drink palatable and even then it was undrinkable. This place was amazing. Super modern, the atmosphere was cool and their staff was awesome. Our server was the bomb dot com, she was "on it" the entire time and management was just as great. Rebellious burger!!! Blew my damn mind. I've eaten alot of burgers and this hands down is the best I've had so far. I ordered it medium well. The egg on top was cooked perfect and the burger was so damn juicy it soaked the bottom bread. I ate every bit except for a lil bit of the bread that was soaked. I highly highly recommend this place and burger. The menu is an old school newspaper. Cool place like made to look like a moonshine bar with amazing food. Manager Allen was great. It's how managers should be. Waitress was weird like she didn't seem to care about anything. I told her I wanted the fried chicken but Yelp reviews were all over the place. Her response.... "what, that it's bland?" "It's fried chicken". That to me made no sense. So what does a great manager do.... gives me a sample. That was really nice. Solid place. Hubby had the salmon--which was great--and I had the Shepard's pie--which was a miss for me. Luckily, our waitress, Sara, was on it and noticed I didn't eat much. Brunch is amazing! Well worth the wait! Of course it is a bit pricey but they treat you well, and the food comes out flawless every time! The dishes are really unique which explains the price point. This is a nice bar/restaurant up by the Cantera area of San Antonio. I went here on a tuesday for happy hour. Our bartender, Kiana, was very nice and kept our drinks full. That evening we had the cherry limeade mules. Very tasty. Only downer was that there was no happy hour food menu. That would have been the icing on the cake. This place was just around the corner from our hotel. This place was a little more expensive than we thought. The drinks here were around the same prices as regular entrees. We split an order of the Kobe Burger which was good but i think later gave us some upset stomach. The appetizer was pretty good though. We had the corn and spinach dip. read more

Issues always arise when we go out, but how those issues are handled make or break the experience. On a recent visit to Mash'D, my wife and I were seated pretty quickly, after a mix-up with the hostess. Our waitress came to the table quickly and helped us make decisions as it was our first time there. While waiting for our food a large table, 8 top, came in and were seated relatively close to us. After a few minutes they put their order in as well. After a bit of time and no food, the 8 top began receiving their meals. Perplexed, but still patient, I was beginning to wonder where our food was. The manager then came to our table, introduced himself and let us know there was an issue with our order, it was never put in due to a miscommunication of some sort. He then told us not to worry, everything was being worked on and would be out shortly. He said we would not be paying for anything we had ordered to that point, nor would we pay for anything else we ordered that evening. He also gave us a $20 gift card to used during a subsequent visit. All of this happened without my or I having to say a word to anyone, the restaurant was proactive, took the initiative and owned up to their mistake. Excellent food and drinks! Sitting outside was lovely. I had the Knockout Punch and it loves lives up to its name! Very good. The pizza I had was thick (almost the consistency of quiche) and wasn't really my forte, but that's more my personal taste than the quality of the food! Everything was delicious. We stopped in on a Saturday night. We were able to be seated within ten minutes. Our group of four ordered the Shepard's pie, fried chicken, salmon and rib sandwich. Of course, we sampled a little of everything and couldn't find fault in anything. Carol was our server. She was knowledgeable, helpful and kind. The variety of drinks was amazing. I got the sheppards pie. It was ok, it was really greasy at the bottom, would have appreciated if they had drained the ground beef or used a lean ground beef. The phyllo dough (probably misspelled) had absorbed the grease so it didn't look too appetizing. I ate about half and just didn't really enjoy it. I had the blueberry mojito and it was really tasty. FFW a couple of hours later my stomach was cramping really bad and I ended up getting sick. That's very dissapointing because the place has a cool vibe, hopefully it was just a bad day. read more
