I chose to have a metal roof installed. I was super excited about it. From the start I had to blindly navigate my metal choices with out much help from them. I liked a certain look and they recommended a certain metal. This metal should not be installed on older homes and it should of never been recommended for my 85 year old house. The metal is crimped and buckled and looks like its already been through a hail storm. I set up an onsite appointment with them to discuss the poorly installed roof and they were a no call no show. Finally after a week they showed up. They did replace a few panels and called it done. Leo Miller said himself "It looks good from afar". Well yes it does. But get closer and it's a horrible mess. I asked one of the sons if this was a roof he would want on his house. And he said NO. So here I sit with a new metal roof that looks damaged already. They have done ALOT of homes in my area and every single one of them have had a Leo Miller sign out front. Welp, they never put one in my yard. Wonder why....... oh because it's not a quality install. I do not recommend this company. There are many other companies out there that will give you better service and a better looking roof.

We needed a roof replaced on a rental home we were selling. An insurance inspector was only going…read moreto cover 1/2 the roof, but John was able to work with the insurance company to get them to pay for all of it. The roof was finished in one day and looked great. However, the title company for the buyers required an inspection after the roof was complete. This inspector "found" what he thought was rotted plywood from a leak near the chimney. I called John immediately because it needed to be fixed ASAP so we could close on the house on time. Upon further inspection by John, the plywood was not rotted but it had a water stain from a previous leak (that had been repaired) and the integrity of the wood was in place. However, knowing the title company would take the inspector's word over ours, John replaced all of the wood and re-shingled that area. He did this on a Saturday delaying a family vacation so we could close on time. There are many "good" roofing company's but what are they like when something goes wrong? I think it says more about a contractor in how they deal with a problem after the fact. I can say from personal experience that John Brown Roofing was absolutely the BEST in handling this. John did not have to replace the plywood, but he did because he knew it was best in our given situation. I am really grateful for a roofing contractor that has integrity and stands behind their work. i could not recommend this company highly enough.

They inspected the job and proposed repairs to which I agreed and paid them half their quote to do the work. After spending less than four hours at the site, they did very little to identify the source of the leak but only spread silicone sealant on the wall panels over a large area the wall that looked terrible. They left considering the work done and were expect the balance of the payment. They have since agreed to reduce the cost of the work (ackowledging the sub-standard result), that normally I would have expected a full refund for, since it was done so poorly. I now have to replace the wall as it is beyond repairing in a way that would be acceptable. Do not work with this company.

The bar was low, but did Jack go well above and beyond. Despite the busy roofing season during my reach out, SPS was able to come inspect my roof within a few days, give me quote, and come back out when the claims inspector came to assess the damage. Jack was the go-to person for helping me throughout the process from helping with claims filing to answering all my questions and concerns with my roof.
