Excellent business. Really responsive, did great work for a competitive price, and were really easy to work with. They installed a new roof for us that looks great, and we had to recently have them come back out to do repairs on it due to a fallen tree branch. Both times they did great work. read more

Our neighborhood was hit by a hailstorm in May with baseball size hail. Because I don't do business with companies that solicit door-to-door, I hit Yelp and saw all the fabulous reviews about Alex and his company. I called three different roofing companies and Alex came out the same day. I never even got a call back from other two places. Ever since that first visit Alex has been a fantastic communicator. His crew came out and replaced the roof and vents in one day. His other crew came to replace all the gutters and downspouts. They even hung a new gutter/spout by the front door entrance and told me it would be no charge. Alex also personally replaced our hail-damaged screens. Now for the icing on the cake. Because we chose impact resistant shingles we are eligible for a significant reduction in our homeowners insurance. Alex took care of all the paperwork and communicated directly with our insurance company to make that happen. THAT is customer service and blew me away when he told me he would do that. The work and service Alex and his crews provided was top notch and we are very happy we chose Alex Roofing and Remodeling. read more

Alex was wonderful with his communication and honest recommendation. I eventually had Alex Roofing install a new roof after several other inspections were completed on a year old, inadequately installed roof. Alex Roofing also repaired and repainted interior ceilings. The damaged areas looked as good as new when repaired. I highly recommend Alex Roofing and suggest you give Alex a call. You will be happy that you did. read more

I wanted to let my excitement over having a beautiful new shed wear off a little to be certain I would review objectively. It won't wear off! The whole experience was just so pleasant. They are such a hardworking, professional and friendly crew. They go after their work like a finely oiled machine! Alex's pricing and use of quality materials, job scheduling, and completion were incredible. My 10x12 shed was completed in 2 days!!! What!! I didn't think I could afford an independent contractor to build my shed. But Alex beat Lowes, Home Depot, and even Heartland's pricing by quite a lot. Plus, in his price he included 4x4 ground beams, full size 2x4s, 3/4 plywood floors, an excellent roofing job, 2 large windows, framed small window for AC, and a beautiful paint job with high quality Sherwin Williams paint. I wanted to add a ramp, and they built me the perfect entrance ramp for a small additional amount. To have quality work done at a great price by nice people was such a blessing to me. read more

I was in need of roofing services due to recent wind damage. I didn't think my insurance claim check would cover the whole bill, but Alex proved me wrong. During the bid process, Alex was the only person to offer roofing education. Pros and cons about my choice, different options available. The roof looks awesome! Alex and his crew were punctual, very courteous, and professional. I would highly recommend their roofing services. Best of all, they are local. Shop local, support local! read more

My roof was leaked. Alex came to take a look next day and provided me a lot of insight about the vents which caused the leakage He was very professional, punctual and helpful. Still working with the builder and the vent manufacture about how to address the issue, but for sure Alex and his company will be the company I will work with when the needs come. read more

Alex was great to talk to as we talked through the deck design that we wanted, and got us a bid quickly and clearly. Chris and Juan were the guys on Alex's team that worked on our project, and we couldn't have better things to say about them. The job was done quickly, efficiently, and beautifully. They were also unexpectedly tidy! I always feel like projects like this end up messy -- but they kept everything quite clean and organized. Their work is wonderful, and we are SO happy with the end result! It seems to have been done with great care for detail and precision. And the price that we paid was spot on. We're so glad we worked with Alex and his crew! read more

Alex was flexible in meeting with me and my wife. He explained the process and gave us suggestions based on our needs. I went with a 10x12 to help declutter our garage. The finish product was more than I expected. The planter and shutters dress up the shed so it's not an eye sore. The double doors make it easy to move things in and out. The two tone paint makes the shed stand out in a good way. He even wiped off the door hinges to make it all clean. I can't recommend Alex Storage Sheds enough. read more

I had hail damage to my shingle roof and contacted several roofing companies for estimates. I was very nervous, not knowing who to trust. Alex had numerous positive feedback ratings which were very helpful. I highly recommend Alex as he is very knowledgeable, was prompt with responses to my numerous questions and flexible with my schedule. His estimate was very competitive and fair. The crew kept on schedule and did a great job with clean up. I am very pleased with my new roof. Thank you Alex Roofing team. read more

I spoke to Alex regarding having my roof replaced. Alex came by that same day and inspected and gave a reasonable quote. We agreed on a date for the project to start. Alex and crew showed up on agreed date and started to re roof my house. The job was completed the same day and all clean up was done. Alex and crew did an excellent job on the roof and even did some extra repairs at no charge. I highly recommend Alex roofing, you will not be disappointed. read more

ALEX and his team were great. Hard working courtesy and did a great job on my new roof.

These guys are the best! Quick and reliable, reasonable and honest! Two years ago Alex and his team repaired our roof. This March he replaced our roof! If you're planning on getting a new roof or your insurance company has determined your roof has hail damage you might want to consider Alex Roofing. I had a great experience with them and found them to have very good pricing. The owner, Alex, went the extra mile for me. He gave me a price quote before the work was started and it is exactly what I paid him when the work was complete. Alex was always available by phone as well, before and during the job. He was on premises at least half of the time the roof was going up and managed his crew very well. Alex is very friendly and attentive and addressed all my questions and concerns. He recommended good shingles and a good roof color to match the paint on my house. Alex personally patched up several areas on my roof where rodents could possibly get into the attic. He also did touch up paint work all over the house. This was all done at no extra charge. The roofing crew is very nice and hard working. My new roof looks excellent. Of course I can't guarantee you will have the same experience that I did but I used Alex Roofing based on other customer reviews. He has 44 reviews on Yelp with a 5 star average. I also used Alex's Remodeling team to do some work on my house and they were amazing as well. Jose and Julio are top notch, super nice and do great work at a very fair prices. I was thoroughly impressed. I will have Jose and Julio back to my house anytime I need work done. Thanks guys! read more

First roofer we contacted wanted $700 to replace one vent, an estimate he formulated without climbing a ladder. Alex gave us an estimate only after actually getting on the roof, taking pictures, and explaining exactly what we needed done. Turns out we needed to replace 5 vents and 7 pipes, and the estimate was only a little more than the other guy wanted to charge for the one vent. Day of, he arrived early, worked quickly, and texted pictures of the finished work to us before climbing down. We are very happy with our choice to contact Alex and seek another estimate. Who knows what the other company would have ultimately charged once they actually got on the roof? He was friendly, fast, and now Alex is our official roofing guy in Kyle. read more

Stop searching, you found your crew! These guys are the best. I compared 4 contractors and these guys had the best price and the best reviews. They started on time and finished ahead of schedule. Things that I chose not to do were removed from my bid and they reminded me not to overpay. The crew was respectful of my property and did a good job cleaning up afterwards. I highly recommend them. read more

Alex has come through for me once again. He's done five roofs for me (one was for a friend of mine, and one was for my brother). He never disappoints - and neither do all the men working for him. They do expert work and even installed a skylight for me. Alex meets you when he says he's going to; he gets the job done when he says he's going to do it; he cleans up the jobsite, and then he and his men are gone. If every contractor were like Alex, the world would be a better place. I wonder if the person reading this understands that these are real reviews by real customers, and I wonder if they realize how amazing it is to maintain a FIVE-STAR rating. It's incredible in the world we live in. Alex has done it! Cynthia read more

Outstanding work and work ethic! We had some issues with a leaky roof and Alex went above and beyond repairing the roof. Recently my wife and I decided we would like a car port to keep the vehicles out of the elements. We contacted Alex Chavez to come out and give us an estimate and some ideas. Alex came up with some wonderful ideas and said he could start in a week and would be finished in 5 days. He was out 2 days later to measure and lay out the area. He showed up right on time a week later. After working between the rain drops and working all day on Saturday they finished right on schedule. The carport is absolutely beautiful and really sturdy. Alex even showed up himself to add the final decorative star to the front. That's 3 in a row, great craftsmanship, reasonably priced and on time every time. Alex Roofing is our first choice. Thanks again Alex!!! read more

Multiple requests, couldn't even get a phone call or estimate. Who runs a business like this?

Alex and his crew recently built our covered deck. We couldn't be happier with the final result! The fit and finish exceeded our expectations and imagination. We gave Alex and his crew a picture we found online and they made a better version for a reasonable price. We will look nowhere else when we have a shed built or need roofing work done. read more

Very impressed with Alex Roofing. I needed help with getting an old antenna off the roof and had preferred a roofing professional rather than just a general contractor. I found Alex Roofing on Yelp and called. Alex answered and came the next day. Not only did he remove the antenna, but he also noticed 2 leaks and patched them up - all for a small fee. So pleased and appreciative of his courteous manner, professionalism and great advice. I'm due for a new roof and as soon as my insurance claim is approved, my business is going to Alex Roofing. read more

The crew came out when they said they would, put on a great roof at the agreed price and cleaned up (mostly) like they said they would.

This company is far and above any other! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Alex came out and gave me a detailed bid a week before starting the job. When he and his crew came out, they were extremely courteous and professional. They built me a custom 10'X16' Storage Building that I couldn't be more pleased with. His prices are fair and the job was quick. Kudos to Alex and his company. I will gladly refer them and hire them again! read more

After discovering that the source of some ugly brown spots that showed up on our ceiling after the last big rain was more than just a damaged shingle (and more than we could handle ourselves), we called Alex. He actually answered his phone, and was very responsive from the get-go. Considering that we live in Wimberley, and many service people behave as if they don't really need your business out here (even the ones who are based here -- go figure), this was an encouraging start. He met with us right away, answered all of our questions, and had everything handy that he needed to make us feel confident that he had his bases covered and would do good work. They had one more job to finish before starting our roof, and there was rain forecast for the weekend, so timing was important here. The crew showed up bright and early on Friday morning, and put in a full days work, but were unable to finish our 2000 sq. ft. house with several areas of rotten decking in one day. They were back again, equally bright and early, on Saturday morning -- and this is where they really impressed me. It was cold and drizzly, and it was Saturday, and they stayed out in it, giving it their best. They didn't leave until we had a solid (and attractive) roof over our heads, even though it was getting dark by then. They came back on Monday to finish up a few odds and ends and to clean up. There were no surprises when we got our invoice, either. I've never had a better experience with a home improvement or repair project that I've hired out in my 20+ years of home ownership. Alex will try hard to please you as a customer, and his and his crew's work will give you every reason to be pleased! read more

My roof needed some patch work due to missing shingles and Alex came by and provided a free estimate with multiple options available to me. There was no pressure and it definitely did not feel like some sales pitch (which I really appreciated). I chose the option best for my family and finances and have to say his work was very professional and done well. In fact, we experienced a torrential storm no more than 48 hrs after Alex finished fixing my roof and the roof and shingles held with no issues whatsoever. The day after the storm you would have never guessed I just had my roof repaired. I now trust Alex and his crew with all my future roofing needs! read more

Alex and his team were fantastic to work with, and the quality of their work is superb. They were all extremely nice throughout the entire roofing and repair process, and the price was more than reasonable. We had multiple companies come out to provide estimates, and each one was going to charge us more than the insurance claim allowance, except Alex. Alex worked with us to ensure all work and materials were covered in full by the insurance claim. When we needed an emergency tarp on our roof due to a major storm, he was at our house and completed the job within 10 minutes. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of in full, and that we were happy with each aspect of the job. This company did not disappoint. They worked hard and fast, and provided high quality results. read more

We have used Alex's business twice for roof repairs within the past 5 years and both times he went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. We recently had roof damage due to a wind and hail storm. Instead of charging us an amount for repairs, he suggested we file an insurance claim, which we did but were denied. Alex helped guide us through the process of an appeal and even met our claims adjuster in person to walk our roof and explain the damage. This resulted in a check that paid for and covered all expenses. Alex is honest, reliable, and very personable. read more

Alex does exactly what he says he is going to do. Crew showed up everyday on time, left on time. Cleaned up any mess, absolutely the best contractor I've ever hired!
