i had some shingles come off and a small roof leak. i called good news roofing because i had seen that had great reviews. they came out same day and evaluated the two issues and gave me an extremely fair estimate. they said if everything looked good they could have their team back out within the hour. wild enough it was within the next 30-40 minutes. they fixed the leak, replaced the shingles, and repurposed the ones that had fallen off. they were extremely polite, fair, and knocked out the problem with an actual fix in what felt like no time. incredible team! i wish all companies were ran with this kind of dedication to their clients and for their employees. whoever is running the show at good news roofing, keep it up because you are doing amazing things for amazing people! thank you so much! read more

I don't write reviews. This one I just must. I have had numerous roofs replaced in the 40+ years I have owned homes. It has always been a stressful fight, and I have always felt taken advantage of - that is until I found Good News Roofing & Solar. Brook Vallejo was my project manager, Jesus was the lead installer, and Stephen (the owner) also came by and introduced himself. Stephen came by again while they were installing the new roof, checked on the work, checked in again after cleanup, and once more weeks later to ensure all was still as it should be and I that had experienced no problems. Weeks later while Good News was doing my neighbor's house, I saw Stephen carrying shingles to the haul away trailer and cleaning up debris from the yard while the crew was hard at work. What owner does THAT??? Jesus my lead installer personally fixed several problems that remained from when the house was built (builder said it "had" to be that way) - he also installed every shingle that faces the front yard, and did it with pride and perfection. He is absolutely a master installer and has worked in roofing for many, many years. His leadership and skills show in every job they do. Brooke is by far the most knowledgeable, professional, pleasant, polite, courteous, persistent and patient project manager I have ever dealt with. I had lots and lots of questions, to which she had or found lots and lots of answers. She was always available when I had a question, was eager to get up on the roof, worked directly with my insurance adjuster and literally did ALL of the insurance paperwork. All I had to do was sign my name. They sourced and installed exactly the shingles I wanted, added two solar powered vents in the attic ventilation system (they're awesome at cooling the attic), replaced the rain gutters and downspouts, and even provided contractors to fix other items from our storm damage. Good News did all they were supposed to and much, much more than they were required to. Above all, they did everything with a strong positive attitude, a can-do work ethic, on time and on budget. When the crew done with cleanup, Brook was still so focused on finding any remaining roofing nails in the yard I finally had to ask her to stop! While working, they took great care not to damage flower beds, vegetation and fences. When Good News was finished, the driveway and sidewalk were spotless. As mentioned earlier, I have seen this process more than I wanted to, but I can tell you for certain that Good News IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN! Absolutely the best roofing company. Honest and professional! I was quoted by 2 other companies that I had hail damage and needed a new roof. I decided to get another estimate and called Good News Roofing. Brooke came out, she is knowledgeable and explained I didn't; have hail damage at all, I didn't need a new roof. I just needed some repairs. Brooke took pictures of the areas needing repairs went over each item. After the roof was repaired she showed me pics and explained the repairs. On September 4, 2020, I noticed a leak on my garage roof. I made a claim with my insurance on that very date and a few days later was told to start looking for a roofer. I asked several neighbors for recommendations and many referred me to Good New Roofing, I contacted Steven, the owner of Good New Roofing, on September 7, 2020. Steven was at my home on September 8, 2020 and did his inspection. My insurance company then sent out their adjuster and he did his evaluation. He apparently didn't do a good job because my insurance company offered to replace my home's roof, but only repair the roof on my garage. After some back and forth negotiations with my insurance, Steven had to come back out to take some very detailed photos of the damage to my garage. Once my insurance received those convincing images, they immediately did a 180 and agreed to replace the roof on my garage as well. Once my roof was scheduled to be replaced, it was all hands on deck. Literally, there was a crew of about 6-8 guys at my home at 7am and they started doing there thing. By the end of the day, I had a brand new roof. Steve, the owner, was on site managing the job site and getting his hands dirty doing work as well. Steve is very attentive to his work and is very knowledgeable about what he is doing. Steve will do what it takes to help get your work covered by the Insurance company as well. We finally decided to put gutters on our house and at the recommendation of several neighbors, we called Good News Roofing. We left a message, they called us the next day, and they were here two days later to install the gutters. Steve, the owner of Good News Roofing literally saved the day and my sanity. It was so much more than just installing a replacement roof. My husband has dementia/alzheimers. On August 2nd, 2020, Kyle experienced very high winds. Our roof being 16 years old suffered wind damage and many shingles came off. I fought with the insurance company for 7 months before calling Good News Roofing. He came out to see if it could be repaired as we could not afford the $8000 quote from another roofer. Upon review, he advised that he could not repair due to the condition of the roof, not only missing shingles but a brittle roof to try and repair would make the situation worse. I had almost given up with Hartford and he became our best advocate providing us with the information to relay to the company. He also dealt directly with the insurance company. After many photos, back and forth due to the company's unwillingness to replace the roof, they approved it in January. Steve's professional, considerate crew went to work and did a perfect clean up and we have a 30-year high quality roof that is simply beautiful. Good News claims to be a Christian Business, but they are nothing but con artists. They installed and recommended the shingles they knew were defective. Now in the process of selling a house and Good News says it isn't their fault that inspectors, insurance companies and other roofing companies state the roof needs replaced after only 8 years. DO NOT hire these people as you will regret it later. read more
