Decent place for a quick lunch buffet. Food quality was better when they first opened, seems to went downhill a bit.

We have been dining at Masala Zone for about a year and have always had great meals and very good service. The owner is usually there and very attentive and Robert the new manager is terrific. We love the shrimp and chicken dishes because they have always been perfectly cooked and nicely spiced. Pretty spicy, but not too hot and the shrimp or chicken is consistently cooked just the right amount vs many other places that overcook both of these dishes. read more

We are regulars at this restaurant. We love coming here, the service is great and the food is even better! I get the butter chicken and garlic naan, Stephen gets the chicken curry and butter naan. There was only one server who was too busy to be bothered. It took him more than 10 mins to take us to the table (There was nobody else other than us and another couple who were already seated). He didn't bother to check with us even once during our meal. Four of us went to dinner on a Friday night. It wasn't too busy and the waiter was very attentive and helpful with recommending dishes. We ordered the vegetable manchurian dumpling to start. I had never had this before but it was probably my favorite part of the meal! We also ordered the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and chicken desi. All of the meals were great! The lunch buffet has a good selection of soups, a large variety of appetizers, salads, biryani and vegetable rice , lamb, chicken (including tandoori) and vegetarian entrees. Just askin' - what does "full chicken" indicate to you? Two breasts, two thighs, two drumsticks . . .? Apparently not what it indicates to Masala Zone. I am used to what Indian restaurants call a full chicken or half a chicken, but this was a very strange chicken. This is our third venture at Masala Zone. We have never gotten a "full chicken," but this week's was even more bizarre than usual. Not only that, but after being told that it would be thirty minutes before we could pick up our order, we had to wait an additional twenty minutes before it was ready. The butter naan had never seen butter, much less ghee. Apparently, Saturday is NOT the best night to decide on Indian food from Masala Zone. read more

Great customer service and great food!! I ordered delivery and after I opened the order, I realized they forgot to include the naan bread I ordered. That's what I was most excited for! So I called and the man I spoke to was so kind and accommodating. I drove to the store (because i felt bad if the delivery driver had to go back out) and he brought out my naan as well as several other free items! I was so appreciative and the naan was delicious! This was a wonderful place. The staff were attentive,polite, personable and pleasant and the food was really great. My self and my boyfriend had never been before. Flavorful and apparently authentic. The next time I eat at Masala Zone, and I hope there will be a next time, I will request whatever meat dish I may order certainly if it is chicken to be prepared boneless. I ordered the Desi Chicken it was extremely delicious in it's flavoring and impressive in the way it was served in a baked dish covered with a baked on dough cover, but a real chore to eat. The pieces of chicken seemed to be random cuts with a saw or cleaver and for the most part did not resemble any piece of chicken I had ever seen before. In fact I had my doubts that some of it was chicken but likely it was. The dish was delicious, and I did not leave a drop of sauce left in the serving bowl. So, maybe this restaurant is a little bit too authentic for what I am accustomed to. And, as such, presents an opportunity for me to learn and accept that things may be done differently in other cultures. And when I return to masala zone I will request that any chicken dishes that I order be made with boneless chicken. read more
