Sushi rolls were excellent. Service was pretty decent for a busy Friday night, and it's tough with all of their mobile orders. Love the half price deal making it affordable for a bunch of med students on a budget.

The best tasting sushi, great service, and huge cash discount. We've been coming here for years at least once a week. Jason is the hardest working and most friendly server ever. BYOB. Don't hesitate, go now.

You can't go wrong with Masago. The staff is so inviting and welcoming. Every time I go I find something to try on the menu. The best thing about this place is the half-price rolls if you pay cash. I have a running list on my phone of all my favorites. I also tried a noodle dish today for the first time. The only thing that I dont like is sometimes it can be hard to find parking

Great options and delicious sushi. First time having sushi with brown rice and it was great.

Hands down one of the BEST sushi spots I've been to! The menu is easy to navigate and has great selections of sushi rolls to please all crowds. Our server was awesome with answering our questions and helping to accommodate any preferences we had. They have awesome prices as well. The only challenging part was finding parking.

3 roll Maki Lunch with spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and eel roll

Got a 3 maki roll lunch special with miso soup for takeout, and the price was only about $12 with the cash discount which I initially thought was a good value. The rolls seemed pretty fresh, but it seems they're mixing the fish with a bunch of filler. The spicy tuna and salmon were mixed with what seemed like a lot of panko breadcrumbs which gave the rolls a slightly weird texture. The eel rolls were a bit better, but I still felt they were trying to skimp on ingredients. Maybe the entrees or non-lunch items are better but this was just okay.

We love this place although once we were waiting our order for 40 minutes. But still food is good there, place is nice and online order is comfy. We recommend this place for friends, family and maybe for dates if you like small and simple (in design) places.

We eat here at least once a week and have never been disappointed. Everything is always fresh, service is friendly and fast and the best part up to 50% when you pay cash on most items.

Great prices and portions! Good if you are looking for a casual dinner at a low price. Both items came with a side of rice, and the tofu teriyaki came with soup & salad (great deal!). It's BYOB as well. We went on a Friday and had to wait ~20 minutes for a table, which wasn't too bad.

The food is good, always fresh. My two go to options are always the black angel sushi and the gyoza. Ordered delivered and the experience isn't the same because sushi is always better when you eat straight after but it was good. Giving 4 stars since we've been there a couple of times and even if the food is good, their service is pretty bad. Recommend to go and be open minded about their food. :)

We were very excited to discover Malay nearby in Morristown, and we had to check it out. We ordered the Malay Prawn Mee, Chicken Sambal, and the Roti Canai. Roti Canai is one of my favorite Malaysian dishes, but this didn't quite hit the spot. The roti wasn't soft and dip-able. It was kind of flaky and kept falling apart every time I tried to use it to scoop up some curry. The curry was a little watery and not all that flavorful, and I defintiely would've appreciated more than just one or two chunks of potato and chicken. The chicken sambal and soup were additionally a bit disappointing. The chicken sambal was just okay for me, and the flavor didn't really blow me out of the water. It almost felt like something I could make at home. The soup similarly did not have a particularly rich or flavorful broth, and left me a little dissapointed. Another thing that really influences my review is how cold it was inside. It got even colder when people opened and closed the door. It was so cold that our food didn't seem hot. I think the cold air cooled it off instantly and we were left eating room temperature chicken and soup.

It's around $13 per banh mi which is a little higher than some places, but the quality and portion make it worth it 100%. I got the S1 and S8. The S1 was really good and something I would definitely order again. It's my husband's favorite. The S8 was the chicken and it came out warm with steam! A lot of other places make it but it's still cold. I also liked how fresh the ingredients taste. Service takes about 15 to 20 minutes for the order to come out just as a heads up. One Only small critique is the bread. While I like a crispy baguette, this one is a bit too crunchy and can cut the roof of your mouth a little. So don't gobble it down fast like I did. If they made it just slightly less aggressive it would be perfect. Overall I would definitely go back for more.

Parking can be a bit tricky given its location near a major road, but there is metered parking right out front. One thing I really appreciated was the thoughtful packaging. Instead of wrapping everything in paper/foil (which traps steam and softens the bread), they use takeaway containers that keep the banh mi bread crispy and intact. The portions are generous! I don't think I've ever had a bahn mi with so much protein! I personally asked for extra cilantro on some of the sandwiches which is why the cilantro looks so obnoxious in the pictures. Everything was solid and satisfying! The lemongrass chicken bahn mi stood out with its aromatic flavor. The Saigon special bahn mi though, could've used a bit more presence from the mayo and pate to enhance the flavors. Sounds weird, but surprisingly, the sardines in tomato sauce bahn mi was better than it sounds. It was savory and definitely worth trying if you're feeling adventurous. The summer rolls were fresh, clean, and a great complement to the sandwiches. My only note: I wish the pickled carrots and radish had a bit more tang. They leaned mild rather than punchy. Overall, a reliable spot with thoughtful touches and flavorful options. I'd come back again.

The space on the first floor is divided into a lively bar area with plenty of TVs and a slightly quieter main dining room with comfortable booths and tables. There is also seating on an outdoor terrace on the second floor and a few tables in front of the restaurant on South Street if you're up for dining al fresco. It's a terrific option in Morristown that's sophisticated enough for a date on the outdoor terrace when the weather cooperates or a pre-theater meal in the dining room, yet casual enough for beers and appetizers while watching a game in the bar area. The menu captures the essence of modern American comfort food. Whether you're grabbing the Stirling Burger ($18) -- made from a tasty short rib and brisket blend -- or splurging on the Grilled New York Strip ($48) topped with crabmeat fries, the quality is evident. They are also great with dietary restrictions. Between the various poultry, fish, and vegetarian options on the menu and the kitchen's willingness to make moderate accommodations in any other dish, there's something for everyone. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the service. We recently celebrated my niece's 21st birthday here, and our server made it memorable by honoring her milestone birthday by playfully asking for her ID EVERY SINGLE TIME she ordered a drink. It became a running joke for the night and made the occasion feel extra special. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars for me is that both sides of the main floor can get pretty loud when it's packed and the prices are a bit on the higher side for casual dining. We will definitely be back! PRO TIP #1: Stirling Tavern offers a Happy Hour Monday through Friday between 3pm and 6pm, which features specials on certain cocktails, wines, beers, and light snacks. You must be seated at the bar to take advantage of the promotional pricing. If you enjoy a good Old Fashioned, try the JB ($10), made with Four Roses bourbon, blood orange amaro, orange & angostura bitters. PRO TIP #2: Stirling Tavern does not have a private parking lot, but there is plenty of paid on-street parking on South Street or Maple Avenue. Bring change or use the ParkMobile app for the meters ($1 per hour) Monday through Saturday from 8am til 6PM; all street meters are free Monday through Saturday after 6pm and all day on Sunday. If you like garlic, withhold expectations and absolutely give it a go. The contrast was an unbelievable experience--it was crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. There was sweetness, balanced by a tiny touch of spicy from the tuna plus heavy garlic in the sauce. The roll is served on a scorching hot cast iron tray, contrasted by the cool sushi inside. Every bite was a battle of soft and crispy, sweet and spicy, hot and cool--we finished it and immediately ordered a second roll. *As a nod to another review, I will acknowledge that the room got a little smoky immediately after the Amazing Roll was served and the waitress/hostess did elastic-bungee the door open for a few minutes to clear the air, but the air was clear and the door was shut soon after. If I were to change anything about our experience here, it would only be to stop at the two other occupied tables on my way out to preach about this roll and highly recommend they give it a try.
