Half of an Italian sub with mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and peppers ... toasted. I was so hungry half was eaten before taking a picture.

It's been a while since visiting Marzillis Bakery in Fall River. I first heard about it, many years ago, on a TV show called "Emeril Visits Home." Yes that Emeril. He is from Fall River, MA. . On his visit home one stop was at Marzillis and more or less gave it a BAM. Not being too far from there I decided to give it a try ... and I was hooked. Prices are reasonable and on my list it is in the top three sub shops that I have been too. Trying to stay away from carbs and sodium has limited how often I eat this type of food ... it was well worth the splurge. There is very limited seating ... probably most orders are to go. Old school atmosphere delicious food. Maybe i'll splurge a little more often ... BAM!!!

    Corner location.

The sandwich was made to order. Bread is baked in house too. Outstanding. 10 tables to dine in.

Everything! Excellent food & service. I had a small chicken salad grinder. My husband had a hit ham & cheese. They were both yummy.

This is the Italian grinder, l banana peppers. Skimpy cold cuts. Not what it used to be.

I have been coming to this sandwich shop for years. This summer, something is off. The Italian grinder has lost its specialty mixed peppers. There are not enough cold cuts as well.

It had to be 20 years since I had an Italian Grinder, and what better place to have it "getting ready to fly out of providence." What a treat they even wrapped it in Saran Wrap to keep it extra fresh. I can't thank you enough. I only wish Colorado had grinders. Here's to the Polselli's for keeping a good thing going.

I travel a few towns over just to get their Italian Grinders. Try it with the mixed peppers and you won't be dissatisfied.

Some of the best tasting subs(grinders) in the world. The bread makes this sandwich shop the best I've ever had.
