Needed a tow. Roadside assistance. The day of the event I am late for my wife's 50th Birthday party so I call the tow company who my Insurer (State Farm ) dispatched; to confirm the tow, and to ask them the expected wait time. The person did not identify himself but a man with an accent replied to me..."WHAT ARE YOU ASKING ME "??? I responded: whether I was talking to the tow company "Mary's", and how long was the wait to get a tow was...and if that was not available or known could I talk to someone who knows such things. The person responded quote: " Yes. this is Mary's. FUCK OFF and get a tow from somebody else. I immediately reported the call to State Farm and advised State Farm I would file a complaint against this firm as they (Mary's) were extremely unprofessional on the phone. State farm acknowledged the tow firm Mary's said they dispatched a truck...but then Mary's cancelled and never came (45 minutes later). . I waited another 1.5 hours for another tow. If I could give this place a negative rating I definitely would. My review is to inform all of you about the unprofessionalism this company has. These guys are thieves! They are either not satisfied with the jobs pay or are just horrible people that they rob vehicles as soon as they tow it! My car was towed in Jan 2020 from my apartment complex. My husband and I got our car back the same day after work. We were charged almost 500 dollars just to get our car out a couple of hours it was in there. First off, When we go and pay, the staff or the lady who took our payment was rude as Fuck (excuse my language) she was rolling her eyes, giving my husband attitude as he asked simple questions. Basically it's like she hated being there and helping us. (NEWS FLASH and FYI: Get another job if you hate yours dumbass!) excuse me but I'm just so angry. Moving on... Not noticing at the time if anything was missing, not thinking these people could do this we didn't Inspect our vehicle. Fast forward to today. As My husband and I are cleaning out our vehicle we notice that a few of our items in our car is missing! (You may be thinking why only now you decide to look). Well like I said before we didn't even think to look if anything was missing. It went unnoticed until we decided to clean our car out to get it detailed. That's when we were like "hey this is not here and so is this and that". These items were never moved. And I know it was in here because I saw it a few months ago when I general cleaned my car. So at this point my husband just kept going back and forth like what could have happened to our things. Our car was never broken into. We never had anyone else in our car beside ourselves. The only time we could think was when our car was towed. They are the only ones that have the tools to get into an armed vehicle without notice. I am appalled at their actions. They are CROOKS! My truck broke down in the intersection of 164th and bothell-everett hwy. During rush hour. I called Marys and they dispatched a driver immediately and it took about 30 minutes for them to get there. I guess the sheriff called and told him to turn his emergency lights on to get there quicker. Its amazing how rude and absolutely mean people can be. I have never dealt with a bigger nightmare. I walked out to my car & saw that it had been moved to accommodate renovations. Moving it was fine, however I found it moved in the middle of another area that wasn't even a designated parking spot. As I was going to put my dog in the backseat, I saw my rear bumper was dislodged. It was not a simple fix to push it back into place. I immediately had an adjuster from my car insurance look at it & both brackets for my rear bumper had to be replaced. They agreed that the damage makes sense with a towing truck. Before my adjuster looked at my car, I attempted to reach Mary's Towing company for their insurance information via phone. That same night I emailed them. I didn't hear back from the General Manager, Chris until one day later. He then emphasized that he needed to see my car in order to determine the cause of the damages & that the company could fix it in-house for possible less costs.... That's why I pay for car insurance, right? I explained to him that my car had already been dropped off with my car insurance & car shop. I then explained the repair companys name & offered the contact information for him to reach out. After all of that, I never received Mary's Towing insurance information for my car insurance. About 5 days later, my car was ready for pick up from being repaired. I then find out nothing was resolved. A few days after having my car back, I was then contacted by my car insurance on Mary's Towing company's contact information. Where the hell is the communication on their end? End rant. A friends car got impounded with over 10k worth of equipment in it, guy tried to get his stuff out of the car, they wouldn't let him in the yard because all the stuff was already stolen from the car by the owners and all the people that worK there. Police got involved during the auction and and they were told to return the mans belongings. Went around the whole yard collecting his stuff from other car, Mary's employees tool boxes, they even had speakers from the car already on display for sale in the office. Crooked people! Thieves! DO NOT USE MARY'S TOWING UNLESS YOU WANT CAR DAMAGE. ‼‼‼ My car was towed outta my apartment complex today, after I explained my kids car seat and food was in the car, because they are paving. But before my car was even pulled onto the flatbed, I came out and asked them to let me move it. I even called and offered to pay the fees over the phone for them to release it. They refused, even though the driver had the choice to let me have it right then and there. They were extremely extremely nasty on the phone. My girlfriend's car got towed by this company and we picked it up after an hour. When we got home with the car we saw long scratches on the car near the bottom right part of the car. Mary's towing argued that the scratches must be from us hitting the curb. Word of advice: if you ever get towed by this company, make sure to check around your car after taking it before driving it again because from other posts, many people said Mary's will ask you to come to their yard to check on your car but they would deny that they broke your car eventually. A waste of time to come there personally. Very nice and explained everything to us so perfectly. This has never happen to us before so we were lost on what we needed to do and they were very helpful. If I could leave a review of 0 stars, I would do so. To say they are parasites is giving them credit. My vehicle was stolen from Seattle the day after Christmas 2011. Late Thursday afternoon (nearly 5 months after the car was stolen), I received the phone call from the sheriff's office letting me know my car had been recovered. It had been parked in some random apartment complex parking lot in Everett and subsequently abandoned. Mary's towing had the vehicle and I could call them to work out the details. Of course the police weren't called before the abandoned and clearly vandalized car was towed, nor did the company run the plates before the vehicle was towed, although that would seemingly be the logical thing to do. On the other hand, if these parasites practiced common sense or did the right thing or logical thing how would they possibly make their money? Regardless, I called them right away, and they informed me that I owed them $350 for the tow. Makes perfect sense that the person who's vehicle was stolen would be responsible for a tow that was never originally requested. As a doctor in downtown Seattle with a full patient load that day, I couldn't get to the vehicle before they closed at 5pm. I arrived the next day to pick up the car only to discover that they had charged me for the additional day of parking. After taxes, I had the option to either pay them $450 to recover my stolen car or turn over the vehicle, which I could "sell" to them for the cost of the tow and parking. How convenient. Given the fact that the rather old but trooper of a vehicle was stolen nearly half a year ago, I had no intention of giving them a penny to get a car back that I no longer needed. What a racket. It is an absurdity and injustice that a company like this continues to exist, but an even greater injustice that victims like me are subject to their parasitic activity. read more

Opportunistic vultures with no scruples. My car was stolen. They towed it from an apartment complex in Everett. The ignition was punched and it had stolen plates. The sheriff's office called me and I ran down within a half hour and was informed I owed $450. They cost me twice as much as the thief did on car repairs. It's a sick world when your car is stolen and you are victimized twice. The sheriff told me to take them to court because they weren't supposed to tow a stolen car. They were supposed to call the police. I had to pay. They held my stolen car hostage for $450. Two different employees told me with a smirk, "We got to your car before the cops did." Ruined our holidays. I am a single mom. They should be making their money from people who park illegally, not from victims of crime. read more

They not only towed my vehicle from the parking spot I paid for, but lied about there being no permit in my window. When I picked up my truck, the permit was right there inside the window like always. The big guy and the older woman were incredibly rude, and the driver damaged the front bumper of my truck while hooking it up to his tow rig. They claimed the damage was there previously and the driver had pictures to prove it - they made me wait a week before they'd even consider contacting their driver to provide this photographic evidence, because they didn't want to 'wake him up'.... for a week?? But I waited, and was finally told (after I'd called them and been placed on hold for fifteen minutes) that the driver had never taken photos of my vehicle. If you are on the towing end of the hook I can understand why you might leave a negative review...However, we are a Homeowner's Association in Bothell with parking issues and Mary's has been professional, courteous and responsive for us. They post signage (as required by law) provide towing at no charge to the Association and (thanks to Marissa today) are sending us out some warning labels to post on improperly parked vehicles to provide them with a "heads-up" prior to towing them. SERIOUSLY Mary's??? My 76 year old DISABLED sister has been living in her car for over eight months. Her car caught on fire two weeks ago, apparently because of having to use the heater and AC while the car was idling to survive. She can't walk. Shelters aren't set up for her disabilities. She managed to get out of the vehicle but she didn't just lose her car. She lost her HOME. The police and fire department wouldn't even let her near her car. She was taken off in a police car. No one asked her anything about her car - where it should go, etc. No one was listening to her anyway. Red Cross gave her some money for a few nights in Motel 6. She had some other donations to use too. Today she was going to get an old car from her mechanic with money raised from GoFundMe so she isn't on the SIDEWALK tonight. Your notice was just received by her friend that gets her mail and found out you are sending the car to auction (an old BURNED toyota corolla?) and have been charging her $66 per day for the two weeks it was there??? AN OLD BURNED UP COROLLA. I understand your rates are regulated - but that doesn't mean common sense and decency can't come into play. What kind of scammer charges HOMELESS PEOPLE WITH NO MONEY for an OLD BURNED UP vehicle? You can't say, oh, this vehicle is gone. It is not worth storing - instead you seem to be thinking this vehicle is junk, let's screw over the person who lost their vehicle AND home and see if we can make their life more of a hell? Very rude "service", highway robbery. $300 when they improperly towed my vehicle 1.5 miles. LESS than 2 miles down the street to their 'impound'. They also tried to charge me an additional 'after hours fee' when I called to pick up my vehicle within an hour of the towing, because their 'office was closed'. The 'customer service' at the location is terrible. "Ralph", who called himself the towing supervisor (even though he was working the desk at the time) was very rude and unprofessional, and immediately became defensive when I asked simple questions about their ridiculous pricing and info about towing regulations. He straight-up refused to make a copy of state patrol (who I was told sets their pricing) documentation that his office is required to have available, instead insisting I "take a picture". When I insisted he make a copy of the document he refused on the grounds that he needed to talk to the owner, "Mary" before he would be able to make a copy of an already publicly posted document. Mary was unavailable because she would not answer her phone. The employees can't even get a hold of their boss, who they apparently need to make simple decisions for them? Don't expect a good business here, they don't care about people. They are only out to screw you out of money. read more

Beware! Owner is Rude, lacks any empathy and is packing her pocket book from innocent people. I forfeited / Sold my 1995 Toyota Camry to City Wide Towing located at: 810 S. Monroe St. Stockton, CA 95206 On December 13, 2014. The Fee charged from the Tow Company was $185.00 for what the called a title transfer. They signed my receipt and told me they take care of the title transfer. I completed my "Release of Liability" which is required in the State of California , and mailed it off to the DMV in Sacramento, CA I had not received any correspondence regarding this car until Mary;s Towing, Located in Washington , sent me a letter in September of 2016, stating the car is in her possession and that I am legally responsible for this vehicle. The Letter threatens me with over $2,000 in charges and collections. I have no clue as to how or who took this vehicle to Washington since I had no ownership or rights to this vehicle. I tried calling Mary ( The Owner ) and explaining on Numerous occasions, that I may be the "Last Registered " person of the vehicle but if she looked closer at the actual DMV printout: It clearly states that I completed my obligation and had filed the "Release of Liability" in 2014: Which mean in Lament Terms: I am not responsible for this vehicle since December of 2014 She refused to call me back when I left more than 6 messages for her: She acted like she was an employee this last call i attempted to make ( Because she didn't want to take my call ) until the Monster came out in her and she started screaming and yelling at me when I told her she needed to check the DMV Report , along with the copy of the Receipt given to me from the Tow Company who I sold the vehicle to years ago. She refused to listen, She refused my "Proof" of Non Ownership Mary is very unprofessional, rude and completely lacks empathy for anyone but her pocket book.
