I was in a car accident January 8, I was rear-ended by a truck, The police officers were called, the police officer called Mary's towing to tow my car. I talked to the tow truck driver and ask him how much it would cost to deliver the car to my house, he said $197 dollars, then I asked him if they were interested in buying the car he said yes, he told me they would pay probably $50 for it and the towing would be free, when I got home I talk to The insurance company they said I could not sell the car until they inspected it. I contacted Mary's towing and let them know what the insurance company said, they said that it would not be a problem and they would hold the car for me, if it turned out at the insurance company was paying for the accident then they would have the insurance company pay for the towing and if the insurance company was not paying for the accident then they would just pay me for my car, so either way I would not have to pay anything and they would buy my car. If I would've known they were going to charge me for towing in the towing and daily charge I would had my car towed to my house, then I would have had somebody come pick it up for free and pay me for it, Mary's towing lied about everything, Two days later I received a bill in the mail saying that I owed $241.65 plus $60.75 a day, I called Mary's towing and they denied everything they said to me about holding my car and not have to pay anything, then I asked him to talk to the tow truck driver and the lady who talk to me, they said they couldn't get a hold of either one of them, he said they were both off work, I asked him why he can't call them, he said he would try, I called them back later and he said they were unable to get a hold of them, then he told me the tow truck driver was off for two days, I asked him if I was going to have to pay a daily charge well he is trying to contact his employees, he said yes, The next day I went in with the title to my car and the bill was $730.26, the day before when I talk to him his name is Glenn He said he would pay me $200 for my car, while I was in there I tried talking to the tow truck driver and he lied about everything, and I asked Glen if he was still going to stand behind paying me $200 for my car, He said yes, I'm just doing that to help you out, so I ended up paying $530.26, I feel I shouldn't of had to of paid anything and they should've been paying me $50 for my car. Everything that came out of their mouth the whole time I was in there about an hour waiting for Glen to show up for work was one lie after another, I've never been lied to or harassed by any company like that in my whole life. read more
