Judy did alteration work for me, gave me a bargain basement price for her work. That was the only…read morepositive aspect to giving her business. At every visit she was abrasive and took every opportunity to unload personal drama on me. She canceled and/or rescheduled 4+ times last minute. I dreaded seeing her, felt emotionally drained after each encounter. When I FINALLY picked up my piece, I found a flaw immediately (sloppy seam, see photo), and she didn't line the sleeves like she said she would. Poorly done, unfinished work. She told me "There it is, you're all paid up." Because she had been so unprofessional and awful to deal with at every turn, I just took my item and went out the door. She yelled after me "Hey, you get back in here!" Me: "Excuse me?" Her: "You're not even going to say thank you?!" I'm summary: don't bother. She might have experience but she is toxic. I am sure there are more deserving and pleasant folks to work with. Steer clear of Judy at Shirley's Tape and Shears.
