Finding a landscaping company was challenging but finding a dependable, professional and capable one was even harder. Medina checked all the boxes. Medina was redoing the front yard of one of our neighbors and she was pleased with their work. Medina came over and walked the yard, took notes and discussed what we needed. They immediately gave us a quote. We modified some items and they worked with us. There was a seating area we wanted and they were able to build it. The build was so specific that that the seating cushions fit perfectly with anchors to tie down the pads. It's a family business, father and son. Communication, promptness, schedule, and cleanup all went well. One of the key parts of the work was the slope. Walter assured me that his team would slope the concrete 2% (bldg. code req.) away from my home for drainage. However, when rainfall came, I noticed considerable amount of water ponded on the surface of the concrete and it did not drain. Turns out, the concrete was not sloped at all in some areas and less than 2% in other areas =( I brought this to Walter's attention and he said he would fix it by installing an overlay. It's been more than 3 months of reaching out to him, him saying he would come, and still no show. Now, he is not responding to me anymore.

This is also not the only project we are working on, so for the past three weeks we have been having people coming and going through our whole house, having to rearrange work schedules to meet with everyone. When Mary finally reached me on the phone I told her that we already had enough bids for this project and that we would not be needing one from her. This is how she responded: This email was sent to you from MaliMali Concrete via HomeAdvisor. I was unable to reach you. I just wanted to let you know that I paid $63.00 for the lead from home advisor. I wish we had the opportunity to at least meet and give you a bid. Unfortunately, this did not happen and we ?threw money down the toilet? as the saying goes. Thank you and have an awesome day!
