Indeed, my shower parts needed replacing but they also determined that the leaking from the ceiling in the garage was from a water heater pipe spraying water on the ceiling making it look like that. They fixed the shower situation, replaced my old water heater on the spot. The price was very reasonable, i didn't want to buy into a water heater plan, just give me close to whatever I had. They initially "fixed" one of the obvious leaks last week, but this week there were still leaks and so I had them come back out to fix they NON FIX and they claimed I needed to re-pipe all my piping from my house to the main at the street... to the tune of $14K!!! I said I didn't even use that irrigation system anymore and could we just cap it off or bypass it, but they told me they'd have to rip up my whole yard because they didn't know exactly where the leak was...but doing the re-piping would solve the leaking 100%. Otherwise I may continue to have leaks in the future and to me that sounded ridiculous (the $14K)! So I wanted to get additional bids to make sure I wasn't getting ripped off, and I'm so glad I did!! I called United Plumbing and they sent someone out to my house within 2 hours!!! And Alex Bor (one of their supervisors) QUICKLY solved the problem in LESS THAN 10 minutes just by walking around the perimeter of my house and finding the irrigation shut off valve!!! And it cost me nothing as he said it was all part of the "free estimate" to trouble shoot the issue by going around the house before pricing out the fix. Since we don't even use that irrigation system anymore, it was a no brainer to just turn off the valve and be DONE!!! No more wasted water!! Thank you so much Alex for really SOLVING the problem vs. charging us $14K!! You rock. If we have any future plumbing issues, United will be the first one we call next time!

Unfortunately, the administrative side handled by Jade was a different story. I had booked an appointment for a drain clog and disposal repair but managed to resolve the issues myself. I messaged Jade to cancel with over 24 hours' notice to be respectful of their time and even followed up the next morning to ensure they saw the message so they wouldn't waste a trip. Instead of a professional acknowledgment, I received a lecture about how they "don't double-book" and that my 24-hour notice was "last minute." Not double-booking is standard for any plumber, and it shouldn't be used as a reason to guilt-trip a client for providing a full day's notice, especially when no specific cancellation policy was ever disclosed at booking. The response was dismissive, ending with a "wish you luck in the future." It's unfortunate because I actually had a second, larger project (a shower leak) I was planning to hire them for, but the unprofessional attitude from the office makes it impossible to do business here. If you hire them, just be aware that being respectful of their time might still result in a lecture if your plans change.

I won't name their name but after fast inital reponse - nada. So I called my goto plumbers. We went out and bought a replacement water heater from Ferguson (check out my review for them - awesome). My wife and I dollied and manipulated all 137lbs of that bad boy into the garage. Edgar was my tech from Magnificent (He thought it was a "check" vs. "replace"). This could have been a disaster because we are now at New Year's Eve. They typically only do commercial water heater replacement but calls his boss, gets the gren light and because we are loyal customers, discounts the service cost. He tells me he can do it, calls to re-arrange some family plans and just makes it happen! At the end, he noticed a pipe with some carbon monoxide venting which he also fixed. We've used them on several different occasions and it's ALWAYS 5+ stars.

Savior was recommended by our neighbor who previously had the same issues, and they gave a competitive quote. Jaime was excellent, completing the repairs in just a few hours. Everything worked well for a couple months until the backflow valve leaked this month. Apparently one of the reused shutoff valve parts broke and caused the leak. Jaime again fixed it quickly and efficiently at no cost since it was under warranty. Unfortunately some dirt debris was introduced into the line and the backflow valve caught it, did its job, and gushed water out the evening of the repairs when the irrigation timer came on. I spoke with Tom, Savior's owner, who explained everything that happened and came out with Jaime to discuss in person. Jaime flushed the line and reset the backflow valve. I appreciate that Tom came out to explain the situation and ensure I was satisfied with the service repairs. It's good to have the personal touch from a local company.
