Our previous windows let in so much heat and the new ones are cool to the touch on the hottest days. Granted the old windows were failing, but still. It's a great feeling. Concrete patio was ok but not great. There is a brush mark that stands out as it was done in the…read moreopposite direction of the rest of the patio and there isn't enough sealant on it as when it rains there are visable marks that look like lightening strikes with black spots. It just about looks like where the concrete is going to eventually crack? It's been a couple months now but maybe it takes longer for that to go away? The patio roof is fine on the straight part, other than the sections are not even - couldn't put the skylight where we wanted because it wasn't 24 inches wide so the skylight wouldn't fit there. all of their crew did not know how to properly fit the 90 degree angle side to the straight side. one side of the angle was not attached properly, but the other side was done correctly. Looks like one of their guys knew what he was doing and how to use the connecting metal brackets but the guy on working the other side of the beam did not. Even though that section will eventually be covered up/closed off with a ceiling it looks unprofessional. Also, on the front facing side of the roof there was a board that stood up in the inside corner that would not allow the roof flashing to lay flat in the inside corner that would hinder the water flow that would be draining to the gutters that we had to fix.

Before, during and after, the team cleaned up and kept the work site tidy at all times. There was minimal damage to our landscaping as well. Our AC doesn't seem to work as hard and it takes less time to cool off in the summer and to heat in the winter. Watch out for fake financial incentives used to upsell you." I might add that when I contacted the salesman about his false promise he offered me he said he was going to meet with the owner and said "I'll make things right" he said he would send me an amazon gift card as compensation which never happened.

Brandon had to reposition the guide track to be lower and also re-attached the spring bracket to a solid base and not the drywall that barely held it in place previously! It seems like every "window replacement" company out there refuses to just cut and install a new pane, even though doing so is one step in the process of total window replacement. Thankfully, Joe's Glass offers this service, and at a reasonable price. It took a couple weeks to get someone out to get me a quote, but once he arrived, the assessment was quick and pane-less. Afterward, a new window was ordered, cut and installed within two weeks. We were fortunate that this incident happened in the summer, as we've had virtually no rain for the month and a half it took to locate, schedule and execute a solution to our pane-ful problem. If it had been any other season, I probably would have been significantly more irritated and impatient. In regards to professionalism, price, promptness, and quality of work, Joe's Glass excels in all of these things. If all you need is some replacement glass, they're one of the few companies in the Portland area who will take on the job, and for that, I am eminently grateful.
