Mike's wasn't the lowest bid, but it was the only one without contingencies, and the only one which stated up front that his crew would remove the old tile floor, repair any underlying issues with the subfloor, and level it before installing the new luxury vinyl planks. Plus we felt comfortable after meeting him about the plan and the quality of the materials/work. It took about two weeks after signing up to get the planks ordered/delivered, and then set a time to do the installation. A two-man crew showed up around 8:30 a.m., gave me some updates along the way to show what was happening (and ask some important questions I hadn't considered, like which way the new planks should run), and they finished installing the flooring and the quarterround by about 11:30 a.m. Everything looks great, and we are very happy.

I contacted him and we set a date unfortunately, Milton the hurricane interrupted us, so we had to postpone one week. However, they showed up on the date and time expected and completed the job in less time than originally thought necessary. I want to mention one of the workers Isadora, the only young woman on the crew she was their translator and very sweet the rest of the crew did not speak English but, their work spoke for them. If I had to do another remodel I would choose Nexus and Leon. I do believe Isadora deserves a little bit of a raise for being there translator, but that's just me LOL.

It has required "patching" in 2023, 2024, 2025, and is currently in a condition needing repair again. It is clearly "hot tire pickup", which the company's website in detail warns you about, saying it's from faulty installation of other companies - insinuating their company does it correctly and it won't be an issue. We were trying to resolve the issue with owner, Dan Blewitt, and after multiple emails he finally insisted the issue was with our concrete and not their services or products, and that we need to have our concrete tested/fixed and then he would replace the flooring. I sent Dan Blewitt correspondence from a third-party testing company, with no response. I requested documentation of EZ Garage Solutions' advertised 10-year workmanship warranty and any warranty for the products, with no response. I then had the floor tested with another floor coating specialist company, and that testing concluded the concrete was healthy. I sent this information to Dan Blewitt and asked for a refund at this point, as we do not feel comfortable having EZ Garage Solutions perform any work at our house. Dan Blewitt has still not responded. I do not recommend using this company. They are not honoring their advertised 10-year workmanship warranty, and are no longer being responsive to their customer's requests.
