Excellent service from the sale to the installation. Marco was an amazing sales associate. Sean and his team rocked the installation. Definitely will use again.

Within two and half years our 25 year commercial flooring installed by the people they selected started coming up. We had purchased a warranty and they sent someone out to check on it. We were denied. We did not and do not abuse our flooring. After I was denied because my chairs did not have padding on the end I pointed out, in photos, where the entire thing was peeling up and no chairs or even people walk. Corners shredded. Manager offered to send us the pieces so we could install it ourselves. The floor needs to be replaced badly. It has shredded so badly it has cut bare feet walking across the floor. I have to buy mats and even use duct tape. Horrid customer service and they do not honor the warranty they are so happy to sell you.

I'm sad to be leaving this review. But I feel I have no other choice. We hired carpet one to do a…read moresmall project for us. Kitchen, dining room, and two bathrooms installed with vinyl flooring. Here's the series of issues we had with the company. 1. Day of install. Only one person was sent to do the flooring, we asked multiple times if the job would get done in one day, and we were assured that it would be. Install was not complete within one day. Reasons for it not being complete? One person working the task... and they didn't have enough flooring. Insane, shouldn't of happened. 2. Carpet did not get tucked on either of the 2-3 days of install. We had to ask the company to send out another person to tuck our carpets. It should of been done on day of install. But instead we went about 3-4 days with our carpet sticking out. When they finally got the installers out, they made a mess and didn't vacuum up any of the carpet fibers, leaving me to clean it up. 3. Tons of miscommunication with the installers. We even had them call on a weekday morning (when people are usually at work) telling us that they were on their way to finish the install. When we NEVER heard anything about them showing up on that day. My husband and I were both at work, obviously couldn't make it to let them in. 4. Installers failed to bring calking that matched our BOUGHT flooring. SO NOW. There is white calking and you can obviously see the cuts they made in the flooring. Looks super unprofessional. I asked the installer about it and he assured me that they would bring calking that matched when they came back... when they did come back, they told me they didn't have it. I called and complained to my point of contact and they asked me to run to the store and buy some, saying they would give me a gift card to reimburse me. I'm not doing that, I paid you to do this. 5. The molding in my kitchen had matched my kitchen cabinets. But I guess whoever took it off THREW IT AWAY. So when they went to put it back on... they had to use white molding That doesn't match my cabinets. Highly unprofessional. Why would you throw that away, now it looks mismatched. 6. Contractors moved my toilets when they specifically were not supposed to. One of my connections broke, but luckily it was an easy fix. (That I paid for) 7. Toe molding was missed on the first install, I had to purposely ask the second installer to fix it. Attention to detail is everything when running a business! And these people lack it. Your customer shouldn't be pointing out flaws. I shouldn't have to monitor your installers to make sure it's getting done right. 8. The installers broke my very expensive GLASS table. The guy kept hitting it with the flooring and materials every time he walked by it, and it slowly shredded the glass down and took out the screw. It is not repairable. I have put in a claim. But have STILL not heard anything back from the company on any type of reimbursement. My flooring is almost paid off by now.. and I still haven't heard anything on my broken table. My initial install date was May 14th 2020.. install was not complete until May 29th 2020 It is now July 15th 2020. IT HAS BEEN 2 WHOLE MONTHS THAT I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH CARPET ONE. I just want to be done with them. I want my table fixed. My husband and I have already decided that we are going to be pressing legal action if the company continues to ignore us. They already got their money so they don't seem to care. Hoping this review will show them all of the things they have done to cause stress on my family. We were told one day install. And as you can tell from the list above.. it was much longer than a day. I should hire a company and I should be able to sit back and watch. Instead, we micromanaged them, and still aren't 100% happy with our completed install, and we have a broken table! So yay! Answer us carpet one, pay me back for my table, thanks!

Title: Avoid Empire Flooring at All Costs - A Costly Nightmare from Start to Finish…read more Review: In December 2023, I paid over $22,000 to have my floors installed by Empire Flooring. Within months, I noticed the baseboards lifting from the walls throughout my entire home. A contractor later explained that Empire installed the quarter round too tight against the flooring, causing the lifting issue. When I called Empire in March 2025, they informed me that my installation warranty had expired just three months earlier. Even worse, I had purchased a $2,000 extended warranty, which I later learned only covers accidental damage--not installation errors. Absolutely unbelievable. That alone was bad enough--but the story gets worse. After a kitchen flood damaged about 200 square feet of flooring, I paid $3,600 for repairs. In the middle of the repair, the installation manager abruptly ordered the crew to leave, claiming that my original flooring was installed incorrectly and that my continuous flooring layout violated the manufacturer's warranty--even though Empire themselves installed it that way! He insisted that they would only proceed if I agreed to add five transitions in doorways and an 18-foot transition strip across the middle of my great room. When I refused to accept that ridiculous "solution," they walked off the job. After multiple complaints to corporate, Empire finally offered to replace all my flooring for $10,000 since they no longer carry my original material. I agreed, set an install date, and took off work... but no one showed up. The sales rep stopped responding, and now, as of October 2025, I've lost two days of work and still have no completed floor. I've given this company every opportunity to make things right, and they have failed miserably at every turn. If you value your home, your time, or your sanity--DO NOT hire Empire Flooring. I wish I never had.
