The LVP planks are a wonderful quality at a great price. The installers were knowledgeable, timely and fair price. They even came by 5 months later to fix a couple of spots the cold weather impacted and looked everything over, at no additional cost . I have heard some people complain about their installation. We purchased around 8 k of vinyl flooring . The floor is peaking and cracking . It is also peeling . The manufacturer doesn't stand behind it and Direct Floors doesn't either . The floor should be replaced with a fau lifetime warranty , ha ! We also purchased carpet . All in it was 14 k . We have been waiting on a copy of a receipt for 2 months . All I can say is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY . WE HAVE TOTALLY GOTTEN SCREWED. They are blaming it on the installer when the installer is not responsible for the floor not holding up ! Zero stars. I purchased $10,000 worth of high end wool carpet from this store. The installer showed up 4 hours late the day of the install with the wrong padding. He worked for 3 hours and left and then called me at 7:30 pm wanting access to my house to work through the night. Upon returning it took him 3 more full days to install 3 bedrooms and the stairs. Not big bedrooms. The install was so bad I had to hire another installer to come and fix all the seams and redo the stairs completely. When I called the store on the 3rd to discuss the issues they were nonchalant about it and blamed the installer for everything and said that the installer would have to pay to fix all the issues. They took no responsibility. I asked the manager, Dee to come and look at the issues and he said he would but then never returned my calls or texts to do so. This company and the management clearly do not care about the customer or the product they put out. Do Not buy anything from them. so not worth the headache. read more

We ordered our flooring from direct flooring and their recommended installer came out to measure. I've seen other posts here stating similar problems, as the installer over estimated the amount of flooring needed to the extent of 630 ft.² of extra LVP flooring, 32 boxes, at an additional cost of $2,600.00. Neither the installer, nor the company would credit us for the disastrous over estimate of flooring. Once again stating it was a special order. Needless to say, we are still stuck with 32 boxes of Nature TEK select flooring in our garage. After numerous phone calls and promises to work out the situation, my husband was kicked out of the store when he suggested getting an attorney, and he was told never to come back. However, your employees informed us that you, the owner, would not allow the refund to be processed that way. (This info was in our original complaint) 2. You have cited the hurricanes as the reason for the delay in refunding us. However, we followed up several times by phone BEFORE the hurricanes, yet received no response. Hurricane Helene occurred on 9/24/2024 --18 days AFTER we returned the flooring samples and made our first refund request in person. This makes the claim that the hurricane delayed your response invalid. Unfortunately, this reflects poorly on your business practices. It took over a month to receive our refund, and during that time, none of our phone calls or emails were answered. 3. Regarding your comment: "I also provided my email address to address your concerns directly, but I did not receive any correspondence." This is a flat out lie. Your email was never provided to us--we had to find it online. I sent you an email AND messaged you through your website and have yet to receive a reply. While you may state that customer satisfaction is important to you, the actions of you and your employees suggest otherwise. Although we eventually received our refund (over a month after we first requested one, NOT 7 days late as you state), I want to emphasize that we requested it in person on 9/6/2024 with our debut card and followed up numerous times over TWO WEEKS BEFORE the hurricanes . Citing them as the reason for the delay is dishonest, and we feel this is a sign of poor business practices. We are sharing this experience to inform potential customers of what they might expect. We had a very disappointing experience with Direct Flooring Liquidators in Ponte Vedra. We paid a "refundable" deposit for two vinyl plank flooring samples, with the clear assurance that this amount would be refunded upon return. We returned the samples well within the one-week timeframe as requested (4 days later, to be exact). Despite this, the company refused to refund our Debit Card, citing Apple Pay as the reason they couldn't process it (stating the owner would not allow them to do this). However, since our Apple Pay is directly linked to our Debit Card, the refund should have been issued. We have had other stores refund directly to our Debit Card despite using Apple Pay, so Direct Flooring Liquidators' refusal is highly suspicious. Instead, they promised their "accountant" would issue a check within 2-3 weeks. This has yet to arrive over a month later. This "accountant" issuing a check has been mentioned in other poor reviews and in BBB complaints against this company. Either this person does not exist, or they are cutting the checks to themselves. Despite multiple calls and emails to Direct Flooring Liquidators, we've received no response nor a refund. This experience reflects poor customer service and unfulfilled promises. Moved into a new construction home, and wanted to replace the carpet upstairs with luxury vinyl plank. Yelp recommended this business. Wife and I went to the store and we're greeted by I believe the owner's son. He was very knowledgeable, and guided us to the product we were searching for. He gave us a rough estimate with the numbers I provided him with. His estimate was several thousand dollars cheaper than every one else. They were timely, and very professional. We had a horrible customer service experience here and will never refer anyone to shop here. We have alerted our HOA community and made them aware of our experience. I was reasonably assured product in stock and installation within a week. They sent out a guy that way over estimated the material needed for the job, then fired the installer for undisclosed reasons. They used the bad measurements anyway and stuck us with 4 extra boxes of hardwood at a premium price, claiming it was a special order. There should have been about 10% over estimate for waste, but we have over 25% of new product still in the box. Then they would not take back an unopened container of glue (as a result of the grossly over estimated materials list) because my wife mentioned considering a Yelp review reflective of our experience. Just after two months, and having come fix their screw ups they can't fix it any longer so it all has to be ripped out and re-done, by another company! When I would call to complain all I was told was to get the installer back out to fix it, some things can't be fixed! I went to Direct Flooring for some porcelain tile to blend a spare guest room to the rest of the home. The original tiles from Italy were over $9.00 a tile and special order items. Without hesitation the guys ( Andrew, Terry , & Robert ) suggested a different porcelain tile they had in stock in their very large showroom , their knowledge of the quality and color impressed me as they brought me right over to a different porcelain tile that looked identical as I placed them side by side snd examined the underside saving me almost $5.00 each tile. Approximately 15 months after install our floors started buckling and popping in multiple locations. We contacted both Jeff, the installer, and Direct Flooring Liquidators regarding the issue and it was determined that the floors were not installed correctly and a vapor barrier should be used. We even asked at the time of install if this is needed and we were assured it is not. Both Direct Flooring Liquidators and Jeff claim that nothing is covered or has a warranty and my only recourse is to pay to have the floors replaced out of pocket or hire a lawyer. We decided to move forward with a lawsuit due to clear negligence. Highly recommend using another company. read more

This was, hands down, the worst flooring experience I have ever had. After 5 months, I am still having issues. The sales people at Direct Flooring make every excuse in the book as to why THEY are not to blame. They recommended the carpet installer and told me I would pay him separately. Little did I know, this is their first step to escaping blame. Direct Flooring blames the installer. The installer blames Direct Flooring. NO ONE takes accountability. When I went to complain the first time, they asked me if the "zombie alcoholic" came to do the install. After repeated issues, they gave me lower quality padding than what I paid for and never offered to refund my money for the difference. At one point, they tried to blame the thickness of the carpet, as if someone who deals with carpet daily doesn't know how to deal with thick carpet and that's suppose to be acceptable?!! I have two seams in every room and some of the seams are visible from across the room. They left blood stains on the carpet, which they tried to wash out after I complained. One room had a two inch gaping hole. Stairs were cut crooked and had loose pieces hanging.... I could go on. Pics included for reference. Felt like a complete bait-and-switch operation. Salesman told us that installation was included. We purchased and the paperwork listed the installer as a subcontractor of company. Installer shows up and needs a new contract AND agreement for payment (which isn't a subcontract relationship). I complained to Direct Flooring and was told that they'll review the counter video. I called back and was told that they will not provide me with the video without a warrant (even though it's not a criminal matter). I would not trust this company in the future. So we went here based strictly on their reviews for the flooring and service. Terry was awesome in helping us find hardwood flooring to be as close a match to our existing flooring that is no longer in production. He gave us estimates on what we could expect based upon our best guess for square footage. We put down a deposit. No big deal. He had their contractors come out and measure for the flooring. The carpet was nearly spot on for measurements after install. I'm not happy at all with the seams the guy made in the carpets. He had to redo a doorway 2 additional times to get it right and there is a major seam in a large area that I'm scared to even have him attempt to fix because of the other 2 attempts to fix a doorway. The hardwood took longer to get in than promised but, I can't blame them for shipping delays from the manufacturer. However, the installer called the day of and said he wouldn't be able to make it that day because his tools were at another a job and needed to delay 2 weeks. We contacted Terry who had another installer contact us and was there a few days later to install the wood flooring. The wood flooring install looks amazing and we are extremely happy with it. After the install was complete, we had 3 1/2 boxes of flooring left over plus a bucket and a half of glue. Clearly the first installer who measured had no clue of what he was measuring for so, I'm glad we might have lucked out that he didn't do our install. This morning we went to take back the full bucket of glue and 2 of the 3 1/2 boxes of wood. Some guy named Andrew said they WOULDN'T not couldn't take back the wood as it was a special order even thought it was their contractor who measured incorrectly. Let's do the math, each box covers 31.25 sqft. 3.5 x 31.25 =109.375. Our order was 500 sqft. That's a 20% overage. Not 10% which is the standard. I understand you have a percentage for waste and cuts but that overage is unacceptable. They said they'd take the glue back because they stock it. As soon as the comment of "It makes me not want to leave a good review" came out of my mouth, this prick Andrew said nope, we're not taking the glue back. I said I didn't plan to leave a bad review, I just said I didn't want to leave a good review. So, here it is. In fact, I think I'll contact the Better Business Bureau as well. I highly recommend you find another supplier and installer for any flooring you want to do in your home or business! read more

The only good thing about this place was the owner's son Robert made an effort to make it right. I still think they are not all on the same page as far as customer handling. In your response to my review on 4/19 you mentioned special order, no this was not a special order when I came to the store Terry showed me a floor you had in stock in your store and he said there would be no problem getting this the store had plenty in stock. Fast forward 2 days before install he tells me he does not have enough, but he said he had another floor that he suggested and it would not cost anymore than the original floor we had originally chose. I agreed to get that floor and after it was installed it went down hill from there. Installation price was way off. If I could put 0 stars I would. I stopped by this store because it was near my house and my home builder I was passing by to get an idea of what I might want for my new home. It was presale and construction hadn't even started yet. The salesman said if I put a deposit it would lock in the flooring costs for that date, when I questioned and stated that I had not begun the process or looked elsewhere yet, he said it would be 100% refundable so there was no risk to me. Because of his assurances I put a 3500 deposit down to lock in pricing on a future purchase of a home that hasn't even been permitted yet to begin construction. When I asked for my deposit back they spent several weeks putting me off and when I stood firm they refused saying I ordered flooring. NOT TRUE. Nobody has even measured yet and my house wasn't done being built. The owners 'tag line' is customer service is my no. 1 priority while I got excuses and reasons. I tried to settle but he changed his criteria each time. His "customer Service" was to get me to spend more money and order flooring that cost more with him then other places for the same flooring all while refusing to abide by their agreement to refund my deposit. He forced me to have to file litigation in the court just to try to get my 100% refundable deposit back. He then began stating I had allegedly ordered flooring and he had been allegedly holding it for almost a year and allegedly it was a 'special order' so it was not returnable. When I asked the salesman he said that the flooring on the invoice the owner sent is their standard flooring that they keep in stock all of the time. I do not trust this company or the owner. Apparantly, my research into this company is 'every flooring is special flooring' and other people have allegedly made the same complaint about not getting back their deposit that was supposed to be refundable. read more

Terrible company, service, and installation. I HIGHLY encourage you to not use this company. They sell product knowing it is not best for the customer and try to have their "third-party" installers "make it work". It's their legal way to avoid responsibility for providing a good product and installation. No matter what you purchase, it is always considered a "special order" for them. I purchased a floor and was told I'd have an opportunity to inspect the flooring prior to installation. Immediately I noticed the flooring was not as described in the store and had major variations in color. I stopped the installer and figured I would return and just pay the restocking charge. The store informed me I could not return half of the flooring because the installer took it out of the box and set it in my garage. They exchanged half of the remaining flooring and then charged a premium for another floor. That second floor that I paid for is now coming up at the seams within the first year of installation. I could go on and on about more issues. Needless to say.. using them has cost me at least twice the amount of money than going with a reputable company. They are very deceitful people. read more

I was charged a service fee for using a credit card. I was never told about the charge. When I saw the charge, I questioned the manager, Robert. He told me he would remove the charge since his employee never told me about it. Once I made the final payment I saw that the final amount I paid included the $80.50 service fee that Robert said he would remove. I went to the store to ask Robert about the charge and he became argumentative immediately. He said I took the charge off look at my invoice. I said add up what I've actually paid you and it includes the $80.50. Robert the manager was rude, disrespectful and extremely unprofessional. He acted more like a street thug then a store manager. I asked for the owners name and he said get out of my store. He put his hand on my shoulder and got another employee and told me to get out. Love that they took their time with me and showed me many finished projects so I could see first hand what some things would look like.
