Quality Flooring installed new wood flooring in our guest room during a renovation in June 2025…read more. Some of the boards started peeling this June. I contacted John Milea,the service manager, and requested that the flooring be replaced. I sent him pictures of the damaged areas, and he did a site visit. I was advised that they would repair a few boards but replacement would cost a minimum of $2400 depending on flooring selected. He also sent an email stating the following: "We believe the installation was done correctly and that all in all you don't like the material selection that was made a year ago." I responded that what I didn't like was peeling wood and adhesive showing between boards. He also said that the current peeling was probably caused by moisture from a leak. Five boards were replaced on July 17th by a Quality Flooring Installer, and he said there was no underlying moisture. Obviously, the flooring is defective. I will definitely look elsewhere for any other floor replacement.

That crew wasn't the most knowledgeable or thorough. The floor looked great and I was very happy, but after 2 years the planks started to peal and break. This is what makes me give this company a 5 star review. I called them to inquire about fixing the floor under warranty even though at this point more than two years had passed. Bottom line is that they fixed everything at no cost to me. At first I thought they would only replace a few planks, but the guy they sent (Marcos) was super knowledgeable and thorough. He immediately assessed that there must be a problem with the sub floor. He took out the planks and showed me how the plywood was all but disintegrating at places. He made sure the job was done correctly this time, replacing the old (very thin) plywood with new 3/4 of an inch plywood. The floor feels now much more stable. He also told the company that we needed to replace all the planks. The company didn't bat an eye and approved the whole work. All at no cost to me. In my book that's A+ service. Everyone messes up, it's how you fix your mistakes that counts. The company stood up for their service and products. As a side note to Rick (the owner). You have a great employee in Marcos. I would have your other crew shadow him for a while or take some pointers from him.

Thatcher was the person I was coordinating with. He told me he could handle my water softener that was in my garage. He left the first day and I didn't have running water. He told me to wait until the next day which was not happening so I had to drag the equipment back and reconnect. He came back after the floors were done to reconnect (using my tools that he opened every drawer of my toolbox looking for) and he was unable to do it after 3 days of effort, and his grandfather and dad trying to help. He finally left after demanding extra payment for the softener which he left and it was still dripping water all over the new garage floor. Never came back. Never responded. I had to hire a company to come reconnect it and fix his terrible workmanship. The epoxy has a yellow tint and debris that is stuck in the epoxy topping. The floors are not the quality that was advertised. I also blew up on me when I told him I didn't want to be charged for the softener bc it was being done unprofessionally. Don't use this guy/company. He is unprofessional and if you want your garage done right, find another company. His website says 100% satisfaction guaranteed. I am not satisfied and would never call him back to fix it.
