After a thorough consultation, I hired them to coat my garage floor and stairs--an investment of over $6,000. I scheduled the installation the day after I received the keys on my new custom home, expecting a smooth, two-day process. What I got instead was a stressful, damaging experience. On the first day, I received a photo from my neighborhood's Architectural Review Board asking if I had painted my garage doors. What they saw wasn't paint--it was a thick layer of dust that had spread inside and outside my home. My dark brown/black garage doors were light cream. My builder confirmed the dust was also throughout the inside and outside. When I contacted Garage Experts, I was told everything would be cleaned the following day. On day two, while pressure washing, the team chipped the paint on the garage doors. My builder agreed to repaint the chip. However, Garage Experts left assuming my builder would also handle all cleaning, which he never agreed to. The dust left at the top of the garage doors damaged the paint. When I returned, I found dust everywhere--on light fixtures, fans, counters, baseboards, garage doors, and even inside my brand-new water heater. There were black smudges and floor coating on walls and trim. The home had never been lived in and had just been professionally cleaned. The damage and mess were overwhelming. I contacted Garage Experts and spoke with the owner. He admitted the equipment used was faulty which caused the problem but couldn't explain why the job wasn't stopped. He offered to send cleaners, but by then my furniture and boxes had arrived, and I couldn't allow them access. Thankfully, my incredible builder stepped in, repainted the garage doors, walls, and trim, and helped me recover some of the home's appearance. My husband and I cleaned the rest--an exhausting process that took multiple days and hours. Despite everything, the owner simply called this a "learning experience" and still sent me the full bill. When I questioned if he felt the job was worth over $6,000, he offered a $200 discount and responded, "Sorry you feel that way." I paid the bill, but I was left frustrated and disappointed. Bottom line: I trusted Garage Experts with part of my dream home and was left cleaning up a huge mess--physically and emotionally. If you value quality, professionalism, and accountability, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere.

Unfortunately, that was not the case. I bought garbage because the way that it was installed by a friend trying to assist me, within a few years the Floor ended up splitting and breaking. It was very easy to just come in and pull up the pieces. I finally decided to call Andrew to come in and look at it. I was extremely embarrassed that I didn't use him from the get go and explained that my buddy assisted he and he cost me nearly nothing. Unfortunately that caused me a lot of problems as Andrew pointed them all out. In either case trying to save me money cost me twice the originally amount so Inlearned a value able lesson when II comes to your home never substitute quality for cheapness. So Andrew came with me and helped me pick out new flooring. We picked out a great product that was extremely reasonable but what I liked more than anything it was 20 mil thick versus 12 and I never understood the significance of that until now. It's unbelievable walking on floor. It's a totally different experience. When it comes to your home never cut corners and if you don't understand the product never take the word of a salesman. Get someone who knows and listen to what they have to say. Andrew is that guy and his work is awesome. I can't tell you how happy I am. I will be calling him back shortly for the next project!!!!

He arrived on time for the initial estimate. Also made a recommendation for a different type flooring. Which was more cost effective, and a better selection for a rental property. I'm very pleased and would highly recommend them !!

I contacted John Milea,the service manager, and requested that the flooring be replaced. I sent him pictures of the damaged areas, and he did a site visit. I was advised that they would repair a few boards but replacement would cost a minimum of $2400 depending on flooring selected. He also sent an email stating the following: "We believe the installation was done correctly and that all in all you don't like the material selection that was made a year ago." I responded that what I didn't like was peeling wood and adhesive showing between boards. He also said that the current peeling was probably caused by moisture from a leak. Five boards were replaced on July 17th by a Quality Flooring Installer, and he said there was no underlying moisture. Obviously, the flooring is defective. I will definitely look elsewhere for any other floor replacement.

That crew wasn't the most knowledgeable or thorough. The floor looked great and I was very happy, but after 2 years the planks started to peal and break. This is what makes me give this company a 5 star review. I called them to inquire about fixing the floor under warranty even though at this point more than two years had passed. Bottom line is that they fixed everything at no cost to me. At first I thought they would only replace a few planks, but the guy they sent (Marcos) was super knowledgeable and thorough. He immediately assessed that there must be a problem with the sub floor. He took out the planks and showed me how the plywood was all but disintegrating at places. He made sure the job was done correctly this time, replacing the old (very thin) plywood with new 3/4 of an inch plywood. The floor feels now much more stable. He also told the company that we needed to replace all the planks. The company didn't bat an eye and approved the whole work. All at no cost to me. In my book that's A+ service. Everyone messes up, it's how you fix your mistakes that counts. The company stood up for their service and products. As a side note to Rick (the owner). You have a great employee in Marcos.
