Eventually traced the problem to either my pump or the relay. Time to bring in the pros. Called Freeman Well Drillers after having a number of plumbers say they don't handle anything outside of the house. Turns out Freeman doesn't do many wells anymore but they will fix any water problem between the pump and the house. They were out before lunch and I had water again by 1 PM. Plus I had them look over some of the repairs I had made and they made a suggestion or two but said over all I was in pretty good shape. And they were very reasonably priced.
