Finding a plumbing company you can actually trust isn't always easy, but River City Plumbing has…read moredefinitely earned our confidence. We've used them twice now, and both experiences have been excellent. The first time we called was for an issue with our well pump. From the very beginning, communication was great quick responses by phone and text, clear explanations, and upfront pricing. What really stood out was that they didn't try to pressure us into replacing the pump right away. The technician took the time to troubleshoot the issue and got us back up and running so we could make a decision when we were ready. That kind of honesty goes a long way. Not long after that, we had a leak inside the house. A water mitigation company had already looked at it but couldn't figure out where the water was coming from. We called River City Plumbing again, and even though they were busy, they worked us in. The technician found the source of the leak almost immediately. He explained exactly what was happening, walked me through the repair, and gave us a clear estimate before doing any work. No surprises, no unnecessary upselling just professional service. I also really appreciated the little things. He wore shoe covers inside our home (which matters a lot since we're a no shoes household), respected our space, and left everything clean when he finished. River City Plumbing is the kind of company you hope to find: honest, knowledgeable, dependable, and respectful. They've definitely earned our trust, and they'll be the first call we make for any plumbing needs going forward.

I can't recommend River City Plumbing enough! From start to finish, they were responsive (both by…read morephone and text), reliable, thorough, professional, and most importantly honest. We first hired them to troubleshoot our well pump. Their pricing was upfront, allowing us to decide if and when we wanted to move forward with repairs. In the meantime, the technician was able to get the pump working again, buying us time to make the best decision for our family instead of pressuring us into an expensive repair. A short time later, we discovered an interior leak in our home. A water migration company said we needed a plumber, we then called River City Plumbing since they did such a great job with our well pump. Even though they had a full schedule, they made the effort to fit us in. They arrived when they said they would, and that level of dependability was reassuring. Our technician took the time to explain everything throughout the process and made sure we were informed. He identified the source of the leak, explained the repair, and resolved the issue. There was never any pressure to approve unnecessary work or upselling, just honest, quality service. Best of all, there were no surprise charges because everything was explained. I only wish we had called River City Plumbing first instead of a water mitigation company. River City Plumbing found the leak that the mitigation company couldn't. That alone speaks volumes about their expertise. The technician was also respectful of our home. He cleaned up the work area before leaving and even wore booties, which I loved because we're a "no shoes indoors" household. It's those little details that show they care about their customers and treat your home with respect. It's refreshing to find a company that puts its customers first. River City Plumbing has earned our business for any future plumbing needs, and I'll gladly recommend them to friends, family, and neighbors. If you're looking for a trustworthy plumber who shows up on time, communicates clearly, and gets the job done right, River City Plumbing is the company to call!

The actual problem was fixed relatively easily (if you don't count them having to avoid boiling water)and even made the area look more organized than the previous piping, but it was the other stuff that really caught my attention. They caught a problem that I hadn't even known about. I'd had the problems from it but I thought it was something else entirely. And I'm so grateful because their fix made a huge difference. They also were able to explain our filter system to me, which likely saved us thousands. I was seriously close to giving up on it because every tech we called out didn't work on our system and/or only tried to sell us new ones. It cuts off after an ounce or two of water, despite being a very new pre/post filter. There are no obvious kinks or blocks in the incoming/outgoing lines for the water to the system and yet I cannot get more than a swallow or so of water. I was advised to replace the filters which I just did this morning. I was told at the store they occasionally have "bad" filters but they were unwilling to offer me a replacement either free or at a discount. After just replacing the filters, I discovered the same, poor water pressure from the Kinetico continues with it shutting off after a few seconds. I recontacted the store and asked about a service call when they are already on property (I live in a condominium that is serviced by CGC). They called back to inform me that there would be no discount on the service call and that they would "retrain" me on proper installation of the filters with no guarantee they could get the 7-year system to work properly. I am feeling rather frustrated that they choose to treat a long-term customer so poorly, particularly one who has referred several other homeowners to them in the past. I imagine that I will remove the system and choose a Sans water filtration system instead, unless I hear back from them.
