Paid for an auto report deluxe package that states "find out how many cars were made just like yours." Got the report back but that statistics isn't on it. Reached out through email and was told I needed to purchase a personal statistic report that will tell me how many cars were built like mine. I told them the website is misleading and asked if they would do that as an addon instead of charging another 80 dollars. I've emailed them 3 times and now they don't respond. I won't be recommending anyone waste the money do to the martiworks report. Entire car club is waiting to see the response and I got no response. You've lost the support of a few thousand members. read more

I would suggest not dealing with them and not buying her product even though you might want it for your car they only wanna deal with you over the Internet. I've never worked with a company like that so I would suggest to find someone else to go to for anything you need even if it's on the report for your car I'd find someone else. Waited 4 months for the framed "elite" report for my 67 mustang. Got lost in the mail, and little to no contact on shipping/ordering a new one. The PDF version is worthwhile. But I definitely don't recommend ordering the framed one. It costs $250 and is insured for only $100. So now going back and forth with USPS (who is similarly useless), with the best case scenario of only being out $150. Not worth the stress and aggravation. I give up, and will mentally write it off as the cost of dealing with old cars. P.S. - always use UPS or FedEx when shipping important/hard to replace things. The extra cost is insurance to make sure it actually gets there. read more

Won't change stats on my car and says they can't when it's a collector vehicle. Shows a trim stat thats not relevant in any shape instead of showing the actual trim of the vehicle. Not worth the 55 read more

I have ordered two Marti reports from them months ago and still have not received them. I have called to check the status three times over the last two weeks. They have no one that answers the phone and none of my messages have been returned. They have no other way to contact them. Not even email if you can believe that nonsense! read more

If you purchase the elite report it will take close to 6 months. The company tries to use the excuse that it is the extensive research they do on your vehicle. In reality I ordered the report on 11/6 and they sent a pdf of the information on 11/20. So it would appear that the extensive research was completed within 2 weeks of the order yet it took 6 months to get the framed version. I had to email several times asking for updates. The last one said the report was ready and in "framing" and it was an additional 3 weeks before I received notification that it was shipping. If you are after a framed report for presentation my advice would be save yourself the time and expense and get a deluxe report for almost $200 less and save 5 months as well. You can get it framed by anyone and get a better end result in much shorter time frame. It doesn't go unnoticed that lower reviews (especially on google) ,the majority of which are related to the time it took to fill the order, get responded to by the business in a very dismissive approach instead of acknowledging that the process is described as 4 months and they are overshooting that timeframe by an additional 2 months. The information is useful and I appreciate the statistics and details that would otherwise be more difficult to compile. But for it to take 5 months to go from a piece of research to a marginal quality framed report is excessive. It really shouldn't be this way. Either update the timeframe to more accurately reflect your real delivery times or work on why it takes so long to accomplish a simple task of producing a quality framed report that people will enjoy. I'm sure some customers would still be willing to wait but I'm also very sure that a significant portion of customers would make a different choice on which report to purchase and not wait 6 months if we had the right information at the time of order. read more

Ive ordered a report for a 70 Mach in the past and had no issues. I ordered one for a 69 Talladega and ran into problems. The salesman Scott"s approach is to tell me everything I've done wrong to cause all of my problems thru multiple emails instead of fixing and completing my order. If errors are made, many excuses will be made to justify them, as in Ford entered incorrect original data, basically justifying any 3rd party Marti errors in a report down the line. The fact that I have had to take the time to search out a method to leave a review for the company lead me to search out errors in their reports that have made it to customers. There are many examples online. Ive read all of the other reviews on this review page and wish I was on the other side of things. Being a Ford fanatic, I have many friends and business associates in the collector car market and would not recomend this service due to the sheer aggravation i've expierenced. I'm not one of the customers this company gets up every morning to serve, i've become a thorn in their side who has yet to have their order fullfilled. If your in the collector car market the phrase "Caveat Emptor" should ring true in every aspect of buying, selling, researching companies to deal with. "Buyer beware" - Do you own research. I believe this company has different levels of customers, just like the packages they offer to sell- Basic, Deluxe, Premium, Elite, If your Dennis Collins out in Texas you'll have your reports any time of day, direct contact with Kevin Marti, reports probably hand delivered from a gold trimmed horse drawn carraige from gentleman in top hat with white gloves on. If your the average guy and run into problems with them you'll be downgraded to dirt status, the salesman will play with you once and awhile through email at their leisure. Concourse Quality and hobbiest price only applies if you dont value your own time at all and have endless time to deal with this company. I just had a very unpleasant experience dealing with Marti Autoworks. I'm building a 65 GT convertible, and when the engine was rebuilt I decided to build it up to K code specs. At the same time, I decided to upgrade the old ignition system to a Pertronix system. I wanted to maintain the factory look though, so I bought nearly everything Marti Autoworks had to offer, including the hoses, clamps, decals, ground and battery cables, radiator cap, new door tag, and new spark plug wires. Everything looked great, expect they shipped me the wrong spark plug wires as I had ordered the ones with "radio resistance" written on them. No big deal though. I just decided to use those wires, and I had the guys at the shop install most of the stuff when putting the engine back together. When the car was ready, I went to get it and started it up and noticed it had a faint hiccup at idle. It was intermittent and hard to notice. I drove it away and about 5 miles down the road it started getting worse, so I brought the car back. They tested for voltage drop, coil primary and secondary resistance, ignition wires, ground issues, the condenser, vacuum leaks, lean fuel conditions, if something wrong with the carb, spark plugs, and unfortunately, the last thing they checked was the wires. It turns out that the #8 wire was faulty. I emailed Eric at Marti Autoworks and after providing a very detailed and very polite explanation, his reply was very short and basically stated "our wires will breakdown over time when used with a performance ignition system, and therefore there is no warranty, return or refund. As a favor, we can send you one wire at your cost that I claim is bad" as if insinuating that I'm lying about it. No where on their site does it say that their wires won't work with electronic ignition systems, and since they sent me the wrong wires to begin with, and the fact that they were faulty, means that warranty should not have been an issue. The wires did not "break down over time", they did not work from the start. Additionally, for me to ship one wire to Canada would cost as much as buying a new set of wires here locally. So I emailed Eric back stating as much, and his reply is that that they have no wires marked "radio resistance" and that its just "generic art work" on their site and that my wires, which were not marked "radio resistance" wires are in fact radio resistance wires. So I looked into that claim and called Virgina Classic Mustangs, and spoke to one of their techs, and was told they use those wires all the time with Pertronix electronic ignition systems, AND that the radio resistance wires DO in fact have "radio resistance" labelled right on the side. So they just straight faced lied to me. Then to make matters worse, I call Marti Autoworks and leave message to speak to a manager. A short time later, I get a call from them. I explain the situation, and just part way in, the gentleman stops me and says "I'm just the accountant here. Sorry, we have a guy who deals with those kinds of things. His names Eric". I told him I had already dealt with Eric via email, and that was the reason I was looking to speak to a manager and he said "oh really. oh well... uh... let me speak to Eric and I'll have him get back to you?". No one called back, and the next email I get is from Kevin Marti himself, who said I must have a "poor mechanic" and that there must have been "other problems with the car" for it to take 3.5 hours to diagnose the problem. He then insults me by saying I'm a man who "sounds very sure about himself", and says that he "listened to the phone conversation that I had with Eric and Jon" and that I was very unprofessional and then says the reason they sent me the wires that did not say "radio resistance" (thereby confirming Eric lied to me), is because they took it upon themselves to change my order because I do not have a K code engine.... lol. If they were concerned about that, you'd think they would have called me. I wanted those specific wires, which is why I ordered them. It was not their place to change my order without my consent and then blame me for it. The best part is that I didn't even have a phone conversation with Eric, so Kevin himself lied to me again. When I called him on that, his reply was that he "had instructed Eric to quietly listen in on the other line while I was talking to Jon"... lol. Like another straight out lie. When that accountant called me, he had no idea who I was, what the issue was, or why I had left a message for a manager. He also suggested I talk to Eric. There is no way Eric was listening in quietly. I honestly expected a lot from a company that's been around as long as Marti Autoworks. I would have thought they were a very respectable outfit. I never would have expected to be treated like that. I had to go as far as disputing the transaction and my credit card company sided with me after reviewing the emails. read more

The documentation they provided for my 1970 Mustange were great and definitely worth the price happy to have purchased. I paid to have framed, don't expect this to be good quality mine was not, documents almost immeditialy less 60 days started to come part from the matting. Mine took much longer to arrive the initial estimate was 3 to 4 months and ultimately I think it took 6 months, which I would not have cared much on the timing if they would have just kept me in the loop.
