It's the second set of shower curtains we purchased here and it's by far the best quality which is why we returned for more. The cashier that we go to is very pleasant, and the location isn't crowded so long as you go early in the morning.

When you come in, it does give a slight attic smell, which I don't mind. They told me they usually restock on Thursdays and the other location by Sterling Road usually carries even more inventory. I purchased a shiatsu massager and back up Aukey earphones that were new in package from the Ex. However, the earphones didn't work. The great thing is they are one of the few or probably only liquidators that I know that allows for a 7 day return if there's an issue. Normally most discount liquidators I've been to, it's pretty much the final sale. I wasn't able to visit within 7 days, but did send them an email with the issue with the earphones so they extended the warranty for me to come in within the end of the month to get store credit or exchange, which I'm so grateful for. Apparently they sold hundreds of those earphones and only a few came back with issues. I was able to drop by yesterday after work and decided to exchange for another shiatsu massager for my in-laws. What I appreciate about this spot is that it's relatively organized in shelves with multiple copies of an item. There are bargain bins too for $5 if you really want to search for any deals and treasures. I much prefer than other liquidators where usually things are thrown in bins and you don't know exactly what it is until you open it. The staff there was also super patient and friendly. Definitely if you're in the area peek in and see if you score any deals. They will be moving back inventory from the Ex today and the pricing seems to be the same. Though they might offer tax off discounts with cash at the Ex but not at the store.

Was told by worker that they could give me almost unlimited quantity of toppings (primarily cheese) offered by them, for no extra charge. Pies are 16" with Plain/"Cheese" $9.99, "Veggie" & "Pepperoni" $10.99, and "Deluxe" for $11.99, and no extra charges beyond that for "double," "triple," or more in quantity of toppings. Tried the "Veggie" with slightly more than "quadruple" cheese and was generally underwhelmed. "Veggie" comes with red & green peppers, black olives, and mushrooms. Mine had no mushrooms due to unavailability. Price still was $10.99. The dough tasted bland and underdone. Not much air pockets. Sauce was watery and also dull. Cheese was great in quantity but not with any intricacies in flavors. The oven used is the tiniest conveyor belt oven we've witnessed (pictured, on table). This could be the source of a lackluster pie... Would recommend ordering with sparse toppings and possibly 2 turns through their conveyor belt oven. If compared to Costco pizza ($12.99 for "Pepperoni" and "Cheese" pizza with generous quantity of cheese and/or pepperoni), Costco was generally superior in all but price. The good thing about this Walmart/Ghost Kitchen pizza is the low price for "Veggie," and "Deluxe" pies, at 16" for $11.99 or less with practically unlimited topping quantities at no extra charge beyond base pizza price (something Costco doesnt offer). There are a wide variety of goods being offered, and the prices are often even cheaper than Dollarama (though some stuff is kinda overpriced in comparison, like $30 kitchen shelves?) so I guess they win some lose some. I found some really good deals for plates, kitchenware, hair accessories, stationary, and foam rollers. Since the place is so big, it's hard to find a worker, and even if you find someone, they likely will not know the answer. It's okay though... explore away!

The jewelry section had a lot of people, but even if those cannot be sold on the last day, I'm sure it won't be wasted. Maybe if more sales event were done before getting bankrupted would have saved them. Now that Canadian Tire bought them out, it would be interesting to see what will be done to the store in the future when they choose some to reopen. I bought a dawn feather jacket from the online store around Dec. The shipping was pretty fast, like within 2 days. The quality was good, very light, but still very warm when I went out on the colder days. I got the black colour as it's the only colour left available. $110 for the dawn jacket was a steal. I really do hope they make good use of the real estate.

Nobody seems to know about this hidden time-wasting gem, so feel free to walk around with the fear of bumping into people. It's worth browsing here if you have time to kill, maybe waiting for you movie to start, or restaurant reservation to kick in. They kept the controllers behind a glass case. They had about 7 controllers and to my surprise, the controllers were kept in clear plastic bags! No original Sony packaging! I asked "I thought these were brand new?" The guy there says "these are what we call open-box items. The controllers were just removed from the PS4 system. But they have never been used." That was a total lie because I inspected all the controllers (2 silver, 1 blue, 4 black) and they all had scratches on them. Several of them even had the serial number sticker on the back removed or scratched off. I questioned him about that, and he said "well we've sold many of these and never had a problem". There was a second hand store across from them that I went to and they advised me that this Canadian Outlet Store was notorious for selling refurbished items. Don't trust this place! I tend to buy groceries here. I couldn't resist picking up the brownie cake cookies. Don't let the $3 price for a box of them fool you into thinking that the quality is subpar. They are yummy. Eat them in moderation, as they are sugary! This store has a decent selection of salad greens. They are fresh and at decent prices. I tend to get my mayo and other food staples here. As with most Giant Tiger locations, there are washrooms. However, you need a staff member to give you access. I don't recommend going on Saturday afternoon. The lineups were long when I was there. On the upside, there were five registers open. I typically visit after work and lineups are never that bad. February 15, 2026, I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Holtrenfrew Yorkdale Toronto Canada…read more- men's shoes department. I wanted to purchase Prada men's sneakers that were displayed on the sale floor. The item was clearly placed in the sale section and marked as a sale item. When I asked the salesperson to bring the second shoe and the box so I could purchase the sneakers, he looked genuinely surprised that they were supposedly on sale. He then said that there was no box and no second shoe. This is not the first time I have encountered a similar incident in this store. Items are displayed as sale items, but when you actually try to buy them, it suddenly turns out that something is "missing" -- the second shoe, the box, or even any acknowledgment that the item is on sale. I asked to speak to a manager, but the salesperson refused to call one. I waited for more than an hour, and neither a manager nor the sneakers ever appeared. During that time, the salesperson pretended he was looking for the item, but instead he was talking to and assisting other customers. In the end, he took the single shoe that had been displayed for sale and removed it, and he did not put it back on the sale floor. It feels like these items are intentionally not being sold to customers at the discounted price. Later, the same kinds of "sale" items appear on eBay or other resale websites. I consider this practice unacceptable and misleading to customers. I hope store management takes this situation seriously and addresses it.
