Parking sign

I've been coming to this spot for many years and today was unexpected and unpleasant. When I walked to my car there was a ticket on my windshield. Me and other drivers were shock that we gotten a ticket when it has never happen before. Apparently it's a new system in which they have failed to put up a sign on the entrance. You now have to scan the QR code prior to going into the store, otherwise it's $25. Regular customers had no idea of this new parking system. For those that want to continue to come here, make sure to scan the QR code and register your car before even going into the store.

Wowzers I found some crazy good deals at Marshall's today. Let me start with service, very helpful and the store is fully stocked. I was looking for a sling purse for an upcoming work trip but I found all of these other items. $13 for a cute Memorial Day or 4th of July halter top. $7 for 10" IPhone Charging Cable. $12 .99 Hot/Cold Thermal $4 Apple Watch Band $13 for A Pickle Board Set with Case. Much better deals here in Hollywood

I LOVE a good sale/deal and you can definitely find it here as long as you have the patience to look through stuff. The racks and shelves are pretty organized so it wasn't hard to find some good stuff in the exercise clothes section, women's tops area, and dog beds aisle. Prices are very reasonable compared to the original price. You unfortunately can't try on any clothes though due to COVID-19, but you have 30 days to try it on and return it with money back guarantee as long as you have your receipt. I love waiting in their line because they always put all these goodies that you can look at and decide whether or not you want to purchase before you get to the checkout stand. Plenty of free parking on top of the roof.

I go here twice a month and it's because I'm obsessed with their discounts. Swroously makeup, kitchenware, and gadgets are always on sale here for 75-80% off....it's like a discount shopping paradise.

I don't shop at retailers much anymore - mostly online. But, I recently discovered Marshalls. These stores are bargain central. Clothes to Kitchen items they got them all. The only thing I don't like is the aspect of the hit and miss. One day might find the perfect item, and the next, nothing. If you don't mind the hunt - go for it - good quality merchandise. And the Hollywood location has good customer service. Peace Love Smile Thank you

Generally, I think of this as a tourist spot, but have had occasions in the past when a screening or event has brought me to this venue. SO MANY dining options, Japanese cultural experiences, a cute K Skin boutique and a convenient place to park, eat, then walk a short distance to the Hollywood Bowl. It may be slightly uphill, but after the concert, the walk back is a breeze. Parking is a very fare price, and most shops & restaurants will validate 2 hours free, which make it even more affordable. We recently checked out their Center Court FIFA watch party area and it was a LOT of fun. I also felt it was safe and a good visual presence of security guards was observed. There are also easy coffee, sandwich, boba and snack kiosks for a quick bite or fun treat. This is also a great location to start the Hollywood walk of fame tour, cement handprints and local museums - in particular The Hollywood Museum, just a 1/2 block away. Of course, there's also all the Oscar allure, but I'll keep that area for the tourists to enjoy. Cheers! "CC"

They offer some really awesome free/affordable event events for the community, including Friday night movie nights during the summer, drag bingo, and sports watch parties. You can get the most parking validation at either the theater or Dave & Buster's. I'm really impressed with their movie nights so far. One recommendation that I would have is that they do musical sing-alongs in the future where the words appear on screen because I think that would foster a a fun opportunity for audience participation. I will gladly come here to any events they might have in the future. My mom even had a fun time at the movie night last night. I recommend coming early to find parking and get yourself situated if you're coming here for an event.

The outside is currently under renovations, but very much still accessible with tables and chairs outdoors, part of the plaza. Target Starbucks is to the left when you enter. Team members here are personable to a degree and you can find most things you desire in a pinch. They do get shopped pretty hard so I keep that in mind being the closest larger in size Target (the one on Highland is a lot smaller in scale) and most things are under lock and key. I was hoping they'd have a little more variety for frozen goods and groceries especially of the non-dairy and vegan friendly variety but it was pretty similar to others nearby which is disappointing. My mother purchased $4 worth of dish brushes with her EBT cash card; she had a $5 balance on her card. The cashier, a young Asian man named "Angel," swiped her card several times, took it back, saying he wasn't working, and started swiping and looking at the card numbers. My mother was indignant, saying there was cash on hand and it was impossible for the card to not go through. He asked for other cards to pay, even though the money had already been withdrawn. Another cashier came over and tried to help, but to no avail. They withdrew the money from her card and confiscated the merchandise. My mom called the store manager, and some inept young woman, dark-skinned but not African, younger than me, approached. She started being rude and insulting, hiding her badge so we wouldn't know who she was, turning the staff against us, discriminating against us because we were white and Jewish, and my mom had a Star of David on her chest. This pseudo-manager was brazen and arrogant, refusing to talk, yelling at the entire store, waving her arms, calling me a fraud, and trying to shut me up. We called the police, and she and her other cronies laughed, saying they weren't afraid of the police. We waited 40 minutes for the police, but they didn't show up to document the robbery, and they ordered the security guards to delete the CCTV footage and throw us out of the store. The "valiant police," as always, didn't want to do anything, even though several police cars were parked across the street. As a result, we'll have to file a complaint with the prosecutor's office regarding the criminal actions of the store employees and the police's inaction; the prosecutor's office oversees the police. We tried to let her listen to the transaction, but she brushed us off, refusing to listen and telling the staff not to talk to us. She also started hiding and changing security guards and staff so they'd leave in case the police arrived. But we filmed some of it and have the transaction on our phone. They stole public funds. If these low-intelligence scammers, con artists, and thieves think they'll get away with it, they're mistaken. We'll file a police report against them and provide all the evidence. They have a whole gang of thieves, some committing the robbery, others covering it up and making excuses. They committed robbery twice - outright theft, stealing money from a card and taking the goods. We hope to meet with the store's management and demand an apology and tough action against the lawbreakers. Criminals should be in prison. -------------------------------------------- The next morning, December 10th, we returned to the store, spoke to the manager, and he refunded the money. The people who had behaved so brazenly and robbed us didn't apologize, but the manager personally returned the money. There are still honest and decent people out there.
