Was able to find what I was looking for after searching many stores . They always have amazing items at great prices and they are very friendly here

I love this place due to location. Sometimes it has good stuff. I always get my seasonings and kitchen stuff here. They sometimes carry good olive oil, candies and others. This is also where I get my jeans, T shirts and shorts. When it is on sale, it is good time to buy. Stock comes in almost everyday, it usually not much and it is gone fast. Fitting room is never close like Ross nearby. Security is onsite and stuff is usually displayed neatly. Love this place.

2 days. Was trying to tie these pants and they teared apart.

30 days returns? Nope. These pants I bought broke in two days. Low quality products. Had receipt and everything, still couldn't accept return. Stay away from Marshall. They simply won't care.

A constant INSUFFICIENT number of cash registers open.

Poor customer service, sorry to say again. Long lines, chronically insufficient number of cashiers. Today, for instance, only one (1) cash register was open - that was on a busy Friday! Also, saw a transient hanging-out in the store (what's wrong with the security?! - Or was there none?) No improvement over the years.

I've been visiting Ovation back when it was still called the Hollywood and Highland Center…read more Back then it used to have these amazing huge elephants on columns, but apparently, they were taken down because they referenced a filmmaker who was racist. If you didn't know the backstory, you'd never know. Now the plaza is rather plain. At least the bridges with views of the Hollywood sign are still there. When it's Oscar season, the shops are covered up with huge curtains and the red tiled grand staircase acts as a red carpet. My most recent visit was for the Chinese New Year celebrations. They had performers, a fashion show, and booths where you could do different things, like write down a wish and tie it up on a tree or get a special good luck red envelope that normally contains money, but in this case they stuffed them with coupons for a few of the nearby shops. The mall itself is a typical mall with stores you'd see anywhere else in the U.S., it's not crazy expensive like Rodeo Drive. The main difference is that the Chinese Movie Theater holds movie premieres and the Dolby Theater holds the Oscar Awards, so same, but not the same. I greatly appreciate the underground parking garage since parking is always an issue in L.A. and there are enough levels that if one level is full, you can just drive down to the next ones. I've had issues with paying for parking, though, everything from one of the machines not accepting my card only to find out I was charged twice, to paying a ridiculous amount because the event I went to at Dolby Theater wouldn't validate. My advice is to buy something, anything at one of the shops or restaurants so you can get that purple validation ticket. That way you'll pay $3 instead of an hour's worth of work or more, and make sure to put that purple ticket in first and then the regular white one. And no matter how many times I've been here, the zigzag directions for both the parking garage and escalators are disorienting, like why? Why not make it straightforward? Is the confusion on purpose to make us slow down? I've lost count of how many times I've been here and I'm sure that for one reason or another I'll be back because even though some parts of it are frustrating, for the most part it's good because of the special events it holds and the sheer energy of it being a tourist destination.

The outside is currently under renovations, but very much still accessible with tables and chairs outdoors, part of the plaza. Target Starbucks is to the left when you enter. Team members here are personable to a degree and you can find most things you desire in a pinch. They do get shopped pretty hard so I keep that in mind being the closest larger in size Target (the one on Highland is a lot smaller in scale) and most things are under lock and key. I was hoping they'd have a little more variety for frozen goods and groceries especially of the non-dairy and vegan friendly variety but it was pretty similar to others nearby which is disappointing. Find all the unique musts during checking, especially quality snacks. Found pretty much what I was looking for though the prices varied a bit more for certain styles. My mother purchased $4 worth of dish brushes with her EBT cash card; she had a $5 balance on her card. The cashier, a young Asian man named "Angel," swiped her card several times, took it back, saying he wasn't working, and started swiping and looking at the card numbers. My mother was indignant, saying there was cash on hand and it was impossible for the card to not go through. He asked for other cards to pay, even though the money had already been withdrawn. Another cashier came over and tried to help, but to no avail. They withdrew the money from her card and confiscated the merchandise. My mom called the store manager, and some inept young woman, dark-skinned but not African, younger than me, approached. She started being rude and insulting, hiding her badge so we wouldn't know who she was, turning the staff against us, discriminating against us because we were white and Jewish, and my mom had a Star of David on her chest. This pseudo-manager was brazen and arrogant, refusing to talk, yelling at the entire store, waving her arms, calling me a fraud, and trying to shut me up. We called the police, and she and her other cronies laughed, saying they weren't afraid of the police. We waited 40 minutes for the police, but they didn't show up to document the robbery, and they ordered the security guards to delete the CCTV footage and throw us out of the store. The "valiant police," as always, didn't want to do anything, even though several police cars were parked across the street. As a result, we'll have to file a complaint with the prosecutor's office regarding the criminal actions of the store employees and the police's inaction; the prosecutor's office oversees the police. We tried to let her listen to the transaction, but she brushed us off, refusing to listen and telling the staff not to talk to us. She also started hiding and changing security guards and staff so they'd leave in case the police arrived. But we filmed some of it and have the transaction on our phone. They stole public funds. If these low-intelligence scammers, con artists, and thieves think they'll get away with it, they're mistaken. We'll file a police report against them and provide all the evidence. They have a whole gang of thieves, some committing the robbery, others covering it up and making excuses. They committed robbery twice - outright theft, stealing money from a card and taking the goods. We hope to meet with the store's management and demand an apology and tough action against the lawbreakers. Criminals should be in prison. -------------------------------------------- The next morning, December 10th, we returned to the store, spoke to the manager, and he refunded the money. The people who had behaved so brazenly and robbed us didn't apologize, but the manager personally returned the money. There are still honest and decent people out there.

Parking - One of the dealbreakers in my opinion. Especially during peak hours, it can feel like a maze here, you'll find that it's very easily to get lost here. Worse part is that parking is NOT FREE. However, there's parking validation but only specific stores. They don't tell you or list what stores give validation but even then, it's not for the whole duration and only for a specific time frame. A bit frustrating to deal with overall. However, there's plenty of good sides of the mall. The shops here are great, there's most of the stores that you'll find when it comes to luxury, and higher end shops. Ranges from Apple, Lucid, Tesla, Dyson, lululemon, Therabody, etc. The vibe here is very modern, lights up very nicely since it's a outdoor mall. It's very pretty here during the holidays, my wife and I came during Christmas to see all the holiday lights, Christmas Carols, and artificial snow, which turned out to our favorites. It was such a romantic and chill vibe, very cool to see this yearly. They often has collaboration events here such as these events, so be on the lookout for that. Food here is decent, over the years, they've added plenty of popular spots like Chick Fila, Shake Shack, but the staples here are most certainly Din Tai Fung, HaiDiLao Hot pot, Ramen Nagi, and plenty of other notable spots. I would say, they're all worthy to check out, just haven't had time to check them all out yet. Directory online and in person is very informative as well for the restaurants. Drinks wise, there's bars around the mall, but inside the mall, my go to here is Chagee Tea and Wushiland, both solid boba spots, Chagee of course is more trendy at the moment though. Very popular regardless. There's also Blue Bottle Coffee which I find very underrated. I absolutely love their Cascara Fizz, very much a soda like drink, definitely worth checking out as well.
