Honestly, Marshalls has always been hit or miss for me. I either strike out or spend a fortune.l so I never felt like it was fair to leave a review. But the last several times I've been to this location, it's been a huge disappointment. I've noticed that the women's section is full of OLD LADY clothes and you can't hardly find nice work wear for 30-40 age randge the uniors department has gotten smaller and smaller and the men's section is basically non-existent unless you're looking for sweatpants. They recently redid the shoe department and the aisles are so small that it's impossible to shop if someone else is in the same aisle. I doubt I'll be back anytime soon. I used to love this Marshall's, I bought all my clothes there, but lately it has been so disheveled and messy. They must have gotten a new buyer for the store because the choices have been horrible lately. This just makes me so sad, I used to love this store, but if it continues I'll find a new place to shop. read more

Many, many years ago; I actually used to work at Marshall's( and this review applies to the location in Bainbridge/Aurora & the one near Beachwood mall as well) & I must say I don't care for the path the company has chosen to go. Their merchandise used to rock- I could find the most unique, creative and amazing items there at a really good price & now they all suck!!!! There stores are clean & a little more organized, but I think the company has attempted to create a cleaner/ more modern image that has become incredibly cookie cutter like and boring. All the locations used to carry completely different merchandise from their neighboring stores; now they all have the same exact crap for months on end. Not getting any where near the variety & beautiful items they once sold. And their prices have also gone up a bit :( I used to rant & rave about Marshall's but now...well, if I want something that's one f a kind & at a good price I have to shop on amazon.com And, OMG, wtf is up with their women's clothing selection?!?!? Seriously, I've seen better clothing at Wal-Mart & I hate that damn store. The clothing is hideous!!!! read more

I have been at this location a few times. The mens shoe selection is really lousy..I always end up at Famous footwear next door when looking for the boys. And wide width...yea right not happening for men or women. I find some of their items very poor quality and over priced but you can find that diamond in the rough. Wish they carried gift bags...and if they do...I couldn't find them. The staff is pleasant with lots of registers. I had to make a return and it was very painless. read more

I'm giving a single star for the customer service I experienced. I picked out 15 items so I didn't have to make multiple trips to the dressing room. I took in the max of 10 items and left the rest on hold with the dressing room attendant. When finished trying on my items I went to the attendant to ask for my other items and she had them returned to the racks. She said I could describe the items and she would retrieve them. I don't know about other shoppers but I don't memorize each item I just know I want to try it on. I went to get my items but had no desire to ask a woman to remove a cute shirt from her cart because I wanted it. At check out I explained the situation and the cashier said "well you better come back! I mean it come back!" It was strange and uncomfortable and the attendant didn't apologize. read more

This place was a blessing during the holidays. I did most of my shopping there and was able to find something for everyone. You can pick up some great tabletop decorations for reasonable prices. The women's clothing, in my opinion, is strange. Perhaps I don't understand the fashion statements that are being made. They have a nice pet section and I love their selection of soaps, skin care, and 'beauty' products. The staff are usually friendly and the line moves quickly. The housewares are a little pricey and the shoes not my style but if you take the time to really look around you will find some unique and reasonably priced gifts for yourself, family and friends. read more

Sitting in the parking lot, don't know when it opens. It seems like there is no consistency to when the stores open in the plaza. I got excited when I saw the manager walk in the door before 9am,thinking that it wouldn't be much longer before the store opened. Nope. Lights are on but nobody is home. The hours are posted on the door, but even if I got out of my car, I would need a magnifying glass to read. I agree with other reviews, that the selection is rather dull and pricey. They have very little in terms of a men's department, which is a shame. When I go here, it's for a specific purpose: I'm looking to see if they have a specific thing and it's never clothes. I already know that I will overpay and they won't have tall or long sizes. Men's shoes selection is crap. I sometimes wear men's athletic shoes because they fit better. I have found a few deals on catnip, a cat tree, an eye mask you can warm up, and other beauty basics. I got my favorite winter hat here on sale that says "homies" on it. I get a lot of compliments on it. I stick to browsing the clearance items. I also check out the shoes. If you like Michael Kors, this is your store. Their best deal is their,. 99 cent reusable shopping bag. They are trendy and durable. When I do shop there, I always pick up another one. read more
