Then he did have someone else take the other. Gave instructions about cake. Went to pick up cake today. The cake was wrong. He still gave attitude. Got cake home. The icing was hard. The cake is gross. It was an old cake. Very disappointed. Most employees there are now rude. They shove you out of the way when stocking a shelf you are looking at. They are in a hurry and run you over in the aisle while stocking or filling their online orders. This used to be a good store. Not anymore.

We were afraid to try Acme because it has the stigma as being low quality and cheap. Boy were we wrong. Acme has a nice deli section that my husband loves with some of the most polite people I've ever encountered working at a grocery store. The organics are by far the best anywhere in town. Not only the quality but selection and price. They even have organic ground beef which is really hard to find. They have a great selection for lactose intolerance and gluten free. Not even Raisin Rack can compete with Acme in this department which is of utmost importance to us. The layout makes shopping so much easier. I'm at the point now that I can picture the aisles in my head when making my shopping list. They don't seem to have as much trouble with my biggest pet peeve that most other grocery stores have- coming back week after week and not having the same stuff in the same place as last week. I know that every time I walk into Acme they are going to have the stuff they usually have and it's going to be where it was last time. This makes shopping go much faster. The employees are exceptionally friendly and helpful and willing to go out of their way to not just direct you but walk you to what you are looking for. Before shopping at Acme our trips to the grocery store could take easily over an hour, now we're in and out in about 30-45 minutes with good quality food at a great price.

It seemed like every time we left their house, at some point before returning, we were pulling into a Giant Eagle parking lot somewhere. Like 7-Eleven in San Diego, there is seeminly a Giant Eagle on every corner. Not really that extreme, but it sure seemed like it. In SoCal grocery store terms, if Food 4 Less and Vons had a baby, it would be Giant Eagle.

I am a regular customer at Aldi, Belden village St Canton OH where I went today and the scanner…read moreseemed to be not accepting my scans after multiple tries on a couple items. I said I needed help to the clerk opposite me at the belt line, and he did not call for help for me. His current customer told him I needed help as she finished her order. He ignored me, and kept up with his line. I then asked him to call someone for help, and he ignored me again. At this pt. I am frustated at not getting help since I had about $150 of items in cart, and said, Don't you work here? He said, "If you were not so rude I would have helped you," as he kept checking other people out. I explained that I had asked nice, and his customer had told him I needed help, and he ignored me. He finally came over and scanned the couple problem items, and after that when he could see I was having trouble imputing the code from water, he asked, about it, and he was able to put the item in my machine from his! So why didn't he help prior?? I should have left my cart sitting there with all the groceries and walked off! I wish I would have, as the interaction ruined my Sunday, as I went home upset and with a headache! As he walked off from his station, I told him I was never coming back to this store again. I will not as long as he works there. He, who referred himself as the "black guy," when I asked his name. In my opinion, he should not be in customer service! This is very sad as I have used this Aldi within my town for years. This is a single store that is indicative of what will be the eventual demise of the company, doing nothing to raise the image Walmart has sunk to. Best Buy is across the street, target and Kohl's are within half a mile. All three provide a better shopping experience at essentially the same or better prices, particularly with the rollout of Walmart's dynamic pricing models. It has to be said, a company that for decades has blathered on about American values but doesn't even give the pretense of stocking American made goods over Chinese junk is a company that has sold its soul. Add to that the gross negligence of retaining a workforce almost wholly dependent on federal subsidies and welfare for subsistence, and it's easy to see that this company will never manage to survive. I'll smile when this store's Spirit Halloween moment comes. Hopefully sooner than later.

Both employees of a failed existence was loud and rude screaming that they came like that trying to forced me into lying to cover their lack of professionalism and not knowing how to do their work. I told the young female that these are transitions after the fact but they should realized. The glasses are not wearable and damaged they royally messed up continuously like their existence.
