Well stocked store full of variety. The store is warm and not well staffed in the kitchen & bedding areas

Confused on store status. Firstly, smelt rather damp and felt damp too. Escalator and elevator were broken so we used back staircase which was odd but got us up. Perk being found 3 hoco dresses. But the smell was just so musty as soon as you enter building. Also their A/C was not ventilating properly. Overall had nice products but was a musty atmosphere. read more

I visited the women's clothing and the handbag sections of this Dillard's. I saw clothes that fit my style, but I did not need them, so I did not buy them. I was really looking for a new purse. I saw a designer purse that was half off--a good deal. As I was looking at it on the rack, two employees came over to ask if I needed assistance. The purse was attached to a security wire, so I had to ask them to unlock it for me. I am sure that they were making sure that I did not steal the purse, but they were not annoying about it. read more

I visit the canton store when I'm home to see my parents. In May, I purchased a Lucky Brand bathing suit top. When I got back to Florida and wore it for the first time, the suit bled and left stains on my towel, and sun dress. After soaking it, the water was a bright pink! Not blaming Dillard's, but Lucky Brand and their quality control folks, product development, and supplier, etc. who let this slip through the cracks. Yes, I've been in your shoes... read more

Perfect example of a dinosaur about to go extinct, Dillard's at Belden Village. My daughter and I go here to buy homecoming and prom dresses only because there's a huge selection and the prices are mostly $200 and under. Do not expect to be treated well by the employees, lol!! We found a z-rack with dresses still in the plastic bags off the truck. I literally took one dress off. I said is it ok that she wants to try this on? The girl took the plastic off and said nothing. My daughter tried it on and loved it! We went to pay for it and the employee is nowhere to be found. I went out in the aisle and saw who seemed to be a manager. I told him I couldn't find anyone to purchase this from. He said he only had 2 employees on the entire second floor. Did he stop to ring me out? No. He looked her way and she about ran over to the dresses. As we were leaving, I looked over at the z-rack. She took two pieces of paper and a sharpie to make 2 notes saying "Do not touch anything on this rack". I've never seen anything so ridiculous. I spent $200 on a dress and they were mad? God forbid you would make a sale, lol! Pathetic! Maybe they need a self checkout since they hate to sell their merchandise. read more

The five stars are for Val in purse dept. Extremely knowledgeable long time employee. There are several long time employees that work there and that is the key to great customer service. Shelly in shoes is great too. Keep your long time employees happy!!! Customer service is fading more and more and is becoming so robotic. Some shop online for clothing but a lot of us want to try the clothes on and I find it such a hassle to return things that don't fit thru the mail. read more

I like the Big & Tall men's department, I can always find something good to wear. Occasionally, I catch a sale here and there & sometimes a markdown that is a really good deal, so good it's like stealing. The savings are so good, it just feels that way. read more

They sure know how to make you feel fat if you're larger than a size 14. A very thin, beautiful girl approached my mom and I when we were looking for mother-of-bride dresses. She asked my mom what size she needed and my mom said she needed a 14 or 16 depending on the fabric. The girl replied "you'll want to go upstairs where the extended sizes are"... there was no selection at all in the extended sizes but if you went downstairs to everything size 14 and below, the selection was much better. It sucked having to jump between upstairs and downstairs for someone that was in between sizes. Put them all in one place! Why separate the fat and the thin? It makes people feel discluded! And the petites were upstairs too. I guess they want the fat and the short to exercise by going up the escalator? I don't know but I was turned off by it! This store is the exact reason why department stores like them will not be around much longer. Amazon and small boutiques are the way to go. Today I was shuffled around to 3 different registers because you can't return a ladies dress you bought in the ladies department you have to return to the same register you purchased it from. 20 mins later I have stepped out of the Dillards at belden village mall for the last time. They provide no personalized service and they are not consumer friendly. I'll shop online and when I do go to a store I'll choose one that provides excellent service , actually putting their customers first. read more

This mall in general seemed pretty pathetic, but looking at the surrounding area, there's not much else either. This Dillard's was alright. Clean enough, but not amazing. I spent a little bit of time in their shoe department, which was actually trashed, because of some sale going on. The employees were difficult to flag down, because of all the chaos. Overall, there wasn't much in terms of variety or sizes, I guess since they were trying to make room for next season's shoes. read more

On 2/16/18 around 2-2:30 I went upstairs to look for a prom dress. The selection is always great I have found two homecoming dresses there and two prom dresses. This time I did end up finding a dress (for a good price too) however the service was horrid. I went on a Friday because I did not have school so my friend and I were the only two in there. We walked in and I found the dress I wanted to try on to potentially purchase. After waiting ten+ minutes for the cashier to stop flirting with a man, I asked her if she would unlock the dresses so I can try mine on. She informed me that I either had to have a parent or intent to buy. She was very rude about this too. Of course I had intent to buy I was trying dresses on to buy! I tried my dress on and eventually purchased it. I wish I had her name because she was rude to my friend and I. If Dillard's didn't have such great dresses for such a great price, I would stop shopping there. **I was looking on the Sherri Hill website and found my exact dress but for double the amount of money** read more

Be careful! Do not allow your Dillard's credit card to ever be in a "credit balance" state. I paid off my credit card and then decided to return a few items. They gave me credit on my card causing a credit balance. A few months later, Dillard's (Wells Fargo) sent me a check for the balance. I cashed the check at my bank and 3 days later I received a letter from my bank saying the check bounced and I was charged a $15 service fee. It took 6 calls over a 5 month period to receive another check from Wells Fargo, and even longer for them to also reimburse me for the $15 service fee. I haven't shopped at Dillard's since. I don't have the time to play these sorts of games. Better places to shop with less hassle! read more
