Plenty of toys, snacks, and jewelry or cosmetics options. Definitely a discount store worth checking out. Many items less than Dollar Tree (so, under $1.25). Surprised that they were not yet on Yelp, so we added them. Hopefully, the community will give them a chance and find some good deals like we did. This place is on our list for our next visit to the Victorville area.

A good variety of products. Prices are good as well. There's the obvious so and so day equals so and so price. But they also have individual prices on certain items as well. Then there had been one on top of a defunct restaurant in Vidal Junction, CA for a long time, but it was gone by the time we drove over there. Searching for "giant chickens" on the Internet, I mostly found images with no locations but finally under "giant fiberglass chickens" I found Main Street Collectors in Hesperia. Since we were en route from Joshua Tree to Los Angeles, it seemed might handy. Although we found the first Yelp review disconcerting, we decided to trek over there. The two fellows we found working there were polite and friendly and very knowledgeable about the manufacture and customization of fiberglass statues. They had even created the chickens displayed in Acton and Vidal Junction. They also had a nice selection of reasonably priced antiques so my sister bought a nice little poster with a red rooster on it, to tide her over till she can afford to invest in her very own giant chicken.

This 99 Cents Only store is my go-to store when I'm in the high desert. I've been to the one in Victorville, but I prefer this one in Hesperia. It's usually organized, but there's been occasion when it's a little messy. You can find some neat stuff here... you just need to walk through the aisles and seek what you're looking for. Surprisingly, they do have a good selection of a variety of goods and foods, too. They have a refrigeration section and selective fruits + vegetables area. I normally buy baby wipes, ear buds, b-day cards, maybe some candy, etc. Staff is usually pleasant. You can't beat 99 cents for things that may cost more elsewhere. Sometimes I come here first before going anywhere else. Location is in a small plaza. Parking is plenty. Just because it's 99 cents doesn't mean it's the cheapest. I have found in the past for the same item, Walmart or Target may be cheaper or at the same price. If you find yourself nearby and need to pick up something quick, come on by and see if they have it! Happy 99 Cent'ing!

After my items were rang up, I wasn't sure if my 10% had been accounted for. Maria was kind and patient and said it hadn't been accounted for. She asked me to open the app, and she asked permission to touch my phone before she swiped and showed me where the offer had to be activated by me. Then she scanned the barcode in the app, and I saw the discount applied. I appreciate Maria's patience and respect. She didn't just put her fingers on my phone, she asked for permission. She's definitely a rare gem. When I left the store, I looked at my receipt and realized I had been charged twice for toilet paper, and we had only purchased one. I returned to the store (about three minutes later) and explained the situation. Customer service was efficient, and completed my refund since I was incorrectly charged for two. Thank you, Target, for allowing my family and I to purchase items in a clean store and feel respected while we did it. On another note, it was pretty cool to see the samples of cat food and chocolate being offered at the front of the store near produce. Thanks again.
