Two months ago they decided to close the studio with one day notice to their clients. The management swiftly transferred everyone to the Burke studio. This was unfortunate because the travel time with construction was not feasible. I asked to freeze my account for a month while we traveled, but they still managed to charge for another month! While I was away I decided to cancel my membership instead of freezing for another month. I was told they would refund the charges to my account. However, the story changed once I cancelled my membership fully. They seem to change the rules to their benefit with no regard to their loyal customers. Mind you, I stayed with the studio during COVID and joining workouts in the parking lot! I never froze my account, and actually encouraged my family and friends to join Pure Barre. In the end, my dedication to the company of Pure Barre meant nothing to them and they stole a full month of charges without any regret. I would never deal with a company like this again, and I hope you don't either, because they don't care about you or your fitness journey, they will change the rules and the days they charge your account so you will always lose and they will win. Pure Barre should be ashamed of themselves for running the business with such disregard for those who have stayed loyal to them thru the years. I RECOMMEND NO ONE JOIN PURE BARRE NOW OR IN THE FUTURE.

Their stocks are all over the place, and I wonder if they will emerge or sink? This location is extremely clean, organized, and has some extremely nice employees. One minor annoyance. The cashiers are required to inquire if you'd like a Kohl's credit card. The answer will always be a no. As a man in mid 40's, I will concede I'm probably not their targeted demographic. They have a fair amount of clothes for young bucks. Their dress clothes selection is atrocious. So are their ties. I'm not one bit impressed with their shoes on sale. This is a gimmick in my opinion, as I find a lot of these items for less elsewhere. How many hoodies do I need to wear? Their colognes are cheap, and for the high school and maybe college crowd. It's a shame but I just find nothing that stands out about this or other Kohl's.

When we walked through the store to peruse the selection, there were a lot of cute button downs and of course now with spring/summer you have dresses, tees, shorts, etc. I also saw some office type clothes like a blazer which I'm now on the lookout for with my new role being essentially fully in-office no remote, so time to update my wardrobe. I ended up snagging the heart button down that was on clearance. They had a decent clearance section for women but I didn't see any for men or kids, just regular priced and/or sale items. I also saw nice accessories and adorable socks. The sales were ranging from 40-60% from what I remember, and when I walked into the store initially I also saw that passport members get $10 off an item when they sign up with email (free). Being in Pickett Shopping Center, there's a ton of parking and plenty of food, entertainment, retail options.

The staff are on the floor stocking and on their personal phones. The staff member we saw at the checkout/machine didn't talk to us and was back on his phone very quickly. The experience of people contact is getting more impersonal. Talking is becoming overrated and many places with the kiosks now installed. The store itself had more grown up things that see more usable, but the cost is no longer going to be five dallors. The biggest thing I saw in this store is the chargers for you're phone(s). A note is taped on the wall saying " if you open the packaging, you will have to buy that package." Evidently, someone opened a package and the message didn't sink in. The shelving has changed giving the place a more closed off feeling. A feeling that says "Go Away." We will see what has changed the next time we visit.

I always say hi with a big smile but she is rude, won't look you in the eye and only speaks to you if necessary and it's usually to argue; she literally could give two you know whats!!! Clothiers, and I wanted to get it altered for me in his memory. While I was there I decided to get 4 customs shirts made, as my last tailor retired recently. The shirt measurement process was strange from the get go, the owner/tailor Todd put 2 sample shirts in the dressing room. He stated 1 was for tighter fit, and 1 was for a looser fit. But didn't tell which one was which, so I put on the closest one to me. Todd then started asking me about how I wanted the length/width and such and started to measure me. Then we started to go over shirt patterns and fabrics, and I started to pick out patterns/fabrics/cuffs/collars pretty standard stuff. BTW, once this process started I never did try on the other sample shirts and he never mentioned for me to do so. After all the measuring was finished the pricing came, and OMG it was crazy expensive! The 4 shirts came to an average of $323.75 each, wow. All of my suits, jackets, dress pants, and dress shirts in the last 20 years have been custom tailored as I am an oddly shaped person. I know custom clothing is expensive, but the most I've ever paid for a shirt was about $200, but I bit the bullet and went ahead and ordered the shirts as I need a closet refresh. After a few days I got a message that 2 of the shirt designs were not available, so I had to basically let Todd pick the new colors/designs. About 4ish weeks later my shirts were ready for pickup, I was excited to see how the expensive shirts looked. When I tried on the 4 shirts, they were so tight that I was really taken aback. It was like his tape measure or eyesight was not working properly, they were so ill fitting. So all 4 shirts had to be completely reorder, and low and behold another color/design was not available again. That makes 3 of the 4 colors/designs picked out ended up unavailable. Well I picked up the 4 shirts yesterday, 5 months after my original order/measurement. Another bothersome thing with this tailor/Todd is that I ended up in that shop approximately 8 times, and Todd was only there 2 times. He as some nice whiskey displayed in the shop, never did he offer any to me. He knew how upset I was, and didn't even have the decency to be present when I finally pick up my shirts yesterday. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this tailor, there are so many tailors to choose from in the DC area to deal with this tailors crazy high prices, and awful customer service. The shirts are good quality, but this quality can be had for half the price.
