It really depends on the instructor and the time you go. Hyrox, on the other hand, is great since you're usually in groups, which makes it feel more structured and supportive. All of the peak instructors I've had have been really friendly and motivating! The owner is also very welcoming and encourages bringing friends, offering a free trial class so you can see if it's a good fit. *Workouts: Classes usually have about 10-25 people, and you can go at your own pace. I typically go 4-6 times a week, switching up which classes I take. When I first started, the workouts felt tough, but over time, they've become much more manageable (results, yay!). Personally, I'm one of the most unmotivated people when working out alone, and they do a great job of encouraging you to show up at least once a week. The classes are a mix of bodyweight exercises, weights, and cardio, so there's always variety. *Pricing: I pay $159 a month for unlimited classes (~$6.65 a class if you go 6 days a week), which also includes 24/7 access and amenities like massage chairs and saunas. When I first started, I was on the $99 plan for two classes a week, which is a good option if you're not ready to commit fully. *Overall Thoughts: Halo Fitness is a great option for anyone looking for that little extra push. The studio itself is tucked away in an office park off of rt 29. Actually, if you take the hot lanes on 495 (like I did) to get there the rt 29 exit drops you off almost exactly where you need to be. Epiphany Pilates offers a variety of classes; mat (levels 1-3), reformer (privates and duets), yoga and bootybarre. So there is something for everyone. They have a large open studio space for the group classes and then two smaller rooms for privates. I like the studio set up; this way, you don't feel like you are interrupting anyone's session. I enjoyed my time at Epiphany Pilates, I would recommend the private sessions to anyone wanting to learn more about form and technique. I am also interested in going back for some bootybarre. Eurona clearly has a passion for what she does, and her studio is reflection of that.

I've already paid close to $200 for the first month alone, and they're still charging me for absolutely nothing. I do not recommend this place at all. When you try to call, they tell you to talk to Brian, who acts like he owns the world and has zero patience for anyone's frustration. This isn't just exercise, this is schooling in muscle structure, strength and in class explanation and direction of how each "Pilates move" is performed, specific muscles targeted and why they are important. This is enhanced by the friendly small group setting, meaning that you receive so much more instruction (and assists!) in a single class than otherwise. Tamara also has this fantastic ability to work with specific needs (e.g. my hip replacement) and to weave appropriate progressions into the classes during the week, then week over week. I have seen tremendous growth in my Yoga practice as a direct result. It is special. She will make _you_ feel special. The Yoga class is for up to six people, not heated and for all ability levels. You get out what you put in, both physically and mentally. I enjoyed it so much that I'm now also enthusiastically on a Pilates journey and recompiling my body's algorithms with how to move properly. I drive over 20 minutes to get to this location but it's absolutely worth it. The location is surrounded by some excellent eating and libations in Clifton, should you wish to reward your magnificence afterwards. You're worth it.
