​I had a fantastic shopping experience at this Marshall's location on Front St. in East Meadow. The store is conveniently located within a strip mall area, and it was noticeably very clean and well-maintained--a huge plus! ​The store was fully stocked and exceptionally well-organized. I was impressed that the clothes, beauty products, and other sections were tidy, making it quick and easy to find the products I went in for. ​I walked away with a new beauty product, the Glass Skin Snail Cream and decided to grab some snacks to try: * ​Little Lad's Spicy Dill Pickle Popcorn * ​CauliPuffs Vegan Puffed Snack (Salt & Pepper) * ​Nutty Fruity Dubai Chocolate Pralines (Milk chocolate filled with pistachio and crunchy Kadayif, individually wrapped, as pictured). The chocolate pralines were a unique and delicious find! ​(See photos for the snacks and beauty product!) ​The checkout was quick and the staff were nice throughout the store. All items were a great value for the quality of the products! We came here to take a look while waiting for our food to be ready. The store was bright and was packed to the gills with stuff. I actually almost walked into a display while trying to orient myself. The store was a bit chaotic but we went towards the end of the day. I did manage to find some good deals and we had to dig for them. However, I did like everything we got. read more

I shopped here 1x in 6 mos. I went back w/ my receipt to return a water bottle that was broken at first use. I paid $19.99 for the water bottle and two lids. Unfortunately I threw out the box before using bc I didn't consider that I had bought a broken water bottle. The cashier called Jane (manager) & she accused me of bringing in an item that was not on the receipt. She scanned a similar item that rang up $16.99 and had the name brand on it. The one "I" purchased rang up "fitness" and was $19.99. I told her I don't know how their sticker system works, but clearly someone put the wrong sticker on the item I purchased- And now I find out I was over charged AND out the $19.99 bc of this mistake and she thought I was trying to pull one over on her. Interesting how the customer next to me was having a similar problem returning an item. If you're going to shop at this location DEFINITELY check your receipt and make sure your receipt is accurate. I'll just stick to my regular location where I have never had a problem. The biggest thing that ruffled my feathers is the accusation -bc I'm THAT person who has gone back to a store to pay for an item when I've noticed I was not charged bc the cashier accidentally skipped an item. So to be accused of trying to return a different item and have my character attacked? Yes. That's upsetting. read more

There are tons of unique items throughout the store - my go-to for gifts for pretty much anyone. I tend to stick to mostly the home goods and clearance sections, great prices for good quality items. Clothing is usually a "miss" for me but I've gotten a few good deals here and there. Always a wait at the register (at least from my experiences) but the cashiers are friendly and helpful. The store is usually cluttered. Whenever I take something off a shelf or rack to look at it closely, I seem to take more down with it. I chalk that up to the large and random assortment of items they sell, however it's 10x worse during the holiday season...but then again what isn't? read more

Some things are a hit or miss for me sometimes I get lucky finding newer items than potential repeat products. They keep switching areas which is okay to me so that I know they remodel the place, it's clean as long as other consumers don't tamper the stuff they sell which is always a problem not the company's fault. read more

Fast & friendly service at the registers with lines that move very quickly!! I just bought a very expensive ceramic hair brush to blow dry my hair for $8.99 & a gigantic bar of Toblerone chocolate for $5.99 while waiting in line because Marshall's knows what they are doing & has the check out line stock piled with delicious, yummy treats both healthy & not while you're waiting for the next register. Although I love Kohls & other department stores, the thing that makes Marshall's amazing is the variety of merchandise that they offer from teapots to hairbrushes to clothes to shoes to children's books to towels & so on & so forth are all for the most part big named brands! I love me some Kohls, don't get me wrong, but buying a Kenneth Cole pair of shoes & Ralph Lauren towels for the similar discounted price sometimes just makes a girl really happy!!! And did I mention the Toblerone bar yet?! My steadily widening behind really needs that TODAY because it's not New Years until tomorrow so I have one day left in 2013 to PIG OUT & this chocolate bar is going to help!!! Yes!!! read more

Went shopping here and my friend wanted to try on some clothing and the women who worked at the counter for the fitting rooms was absolutely not a people person and was rude. They have weird policies that you can't try on more then 10 shirts or try on shoes. They should make signs up if this is the case and learn to communicate this in a nicer tone and not be nasty about it. I then sat down and shook my head and she actually confronted me about why I'm shaking my head. Highly recommend going to Walmart at least they just don't want to help you and will ignore you. 10/10 recommend going somewhere else. read more

Horrible customer service. The manager is super rude and is to busy pushing carts around the store from one side to other to even ask her a question. I had the misfortune today to use the women's rest room at the Marshalls on Front Street in East Meadow. There were two cubicles - one was overflowing and there was water all over the floor. The other was filthy. The hand dryer did not work and there were no paper towels. The sink area was disgusting. Clearly no one had cleaned this rest room in a very, very long time. Horrible Experience today the Spanish girl with the red hair I did not get her name checked me out today and was very rude to me she should not be behind a desk I have a business I know how business supposed to be ran! customers are always right if you have a problem you need to address it with the manager you don't make decisions! This girl packed my bags with glass in it and put it by her side of the edge of the table, while I was grabbing my stuff the glass fell on her side she blamed it on me saying that it's my fault so now I have to pay for it I said no bitch give me my fucking money back which she did at the end of the argument and making a fool out of herself I will report this to the management I will send them an email I'm gonna make sure this bitch get what she deserves! read more

This is now my second time experiencing the poor communication that is Marshall's. This happened many years before with the same Marshall's in East Meadow. I call up on a weekend to find out what time they open. I click number one to hear store hours and the machine says that they open up at 8 AM. So I think, excellent. I'll go right when they open pick up what I need and leave. Like clockwork, I show up and the doors are locked. I now call the store and speak to a human. The woman I speak to has a terrible attitude when I ask her what time they open. She then says "uh, about 20 minutes from now." I then say to her, "just so you know your voicemail indicates that you opened up at 8 AM." Her response was "nope". I'm sorry, what? I always wonder if they make associates go through any type of training on how to speak to a human being without being condescending. I then repeat myself and I tell her that she should listen to the voicemail because it says 8 AM and she should change it because it's confusing, to which she responded once again with "nope". I'm done. Whoever runs this store should be sure to provide their employees with an appropriate attitude refresher as well as check their machines to make sure that their facts are straight. Should have learned my lesson the first time around! read more

This store has definitely improved in the past year. I don't live far but would rather travel to melville then to come here. However in the past year, the store has been cleaner, better stocked, more personnel and better service than it's ever been! Don't let the location fool you, this is a good store. The staff at this branch are simply ' the best '. I had placed a Hugo Boss suit on layaway, went to purchase it and found the price had been reduced to half the price ,for $600 to $300,and the sales assistant , Daniel , was just great in assisting me with the purchase. I have been a loyal Marshalls customer for over twenty years. I have patiently waded through cluttered aisles to find that special something. Today I made the trek to the East Meadow Marshalls to purchase a retirement gift. It was a trek indeed since they are undergoing considerable construction which lends itself to several detours. However being such a faithful customer I made the trip anyway. As always as soon as I arrived I found the perfect gift, the item was discounted so I decided to purchase a pair, both items were identical one was discounted, but the other was not. Let me reiterate, the items were identical. I got to the register and explained to the cashier the price difference, after scanning she stated that the prices were different. I asked to speak to a manager who barely took the time to assist in resolving the matter. I told the manager that I was disappointed with the curt and dismissive manner in which she addressed my concerns and that I would be calling their corporate office regarding her handling of this issue, her response was "go ahead and call." I left the store without purchasing the items specifically because of her complete lack of any wherewithal regarding good customer service. Very disappointed in her nonchalance regarding the importance of keeping loyal customers loyal. Thumbs down for this manager :((((, "Eek! Methinks not." read more
