I constantly recommend it to my friends who do not know about it. The staff, manager and volunteers, couldn't be nicer or more helpful. During Covid, they have implemented all the precautions required/recommended including masks, plexiglass shield at checkout and arrows to help us wend our way through the magic safely. Anyone who says those things are not there must either have been somewhere else or is lying. It is a great place that is such a fun way to be able to contribute to those in need in our community. What was disappointing was that she didn't even look at the items or ask whether I had receipts or documentation to verify the purchases. For example, I brought in a pair of Gucci sneakers with the original receipt in the box, along with everything intact from the original purchase at Saks. I also had several long-sleeve polos and shirts from Burberry, Ralph Lauren, and Banana Republic. One of the reasons I specifically wanted to sell my items here was to support a local business. Unfortunately, I left feeling dismissed before I was even given an opportunity to show what I had. I hope the owners will consider retraining staff on how to approach situations like this. Even if the store ultimately decides not to accept certain items, there is a much more welcoming and professional way to communicate that with a customer. What a disappointing experience, and what feels like a huge loss for this location. After being a longtime customer, I won't be returning.
