In July I returned to Furs By Prezioso, to have this coat shortened, as full length was not practical for me. I picked up my coat today and could not be more thrilled! The new length was perfect, new fasteners were sewn in, and I also received the length of fur that was cut off! I thought the price for this was reasonable, and they kept my coat in storage for the summer also! I highly recommend this business, the service I received was outstanding!

I was totally surprised when I saw the other reviews. My experience is so very different than…read morethose who gave this store 1 star. First, I would like to say that Carol is very generous and kind. I met her when I attended a fashion show fundraiser for a community organization. I told her that I was looking for a stylist, and she immediately said that she would be happy to help me. Carol, and the other 2 women that work for her, were extremely helpful, as were the other customers. This is not your typical store. There was actual camaraderie amongst everyone in the store. Everyone supported one another. Opinions were honest and uplifting, whether it was Carol, her staff, or the other customers. In appreciation for the large purchase that I made, Carol offered me a free item. When I asked if I could donate it to an animal rescue, for use in a fundraiser, she told me that she would give me a second item, so that I could donate one and keep the other. The clothing line at Carol's Creations is very unique. You will not find mass-produced items here, and that is a huge part of the appeal to me. Everything is high quality, and I expect it to last. I am happy that I was able to find clothing that is flattering and different. Anything you purchase here will make you look your best, and you will not look like all of the other people in the room. If you want to find beautiful clothes and friendly, helpful, sales associates, this is the place to go.

My first interaction with this business was to do an FFL transfer of a shotgun I ordered…read more I was in and out in maybe 20min (it was rather busy that day, and FFL transfers in CT typically take that long anyway because the DESPP takes ages to answer a call), so this was a bit quicker than normal). I maintained email correspondence with the owner Tom, and the individual that sold and shipped the firearm. Tom was extremely polite and thorough with his responses, and though I hadn't met him during in person during this interaction, I knew I'd be back. I got a good deal on some gun parts that had to be shipped to an FFL, and I emailed Tom with a quick question to be sure about something. I got a response back within the hour and my question was answered with the same precision and professionalism from before. This time, I actually got to meet him in person and while he may seem like a giant mean person (I get the same from people) he truly is gentle and polite in person too! AND HE REMEMBERED ME FROM MONTHS PRIOR for the transfer! THAT, alone, is a HUGE thing for me. We chatted, laughed, while he managed multiple things at once. Eventually, I finished the sale with his wife as he had to tend to some other things with other customers and I was on my merry way. I absolutely recommend Tom's Firearms for your firearms and fishing needs! Yes, fishing! There's an entire section in the store for fishing supplies (bait & tackle).

They are just starting to expand their line deeper into the law enforcement community. The thing that absolutely solidified my future purchases with CT Uniform was an interaction I had a couple of weeks ago. I came in looking for a weapon light. I was in no rush for it, and sure I could have ordered it through Amazon, but I like brick and mortar stores because you can touch and manipulate what you're buying and it supports local businesses. Carlton checked and said that he couldn't find the light that he showed in his inventory. Most places would have either left it at that or offered to order it and had the person wait until it was delivered. Carlton contacted a nearby store that I had never known existed (The Gun Store - yeah that's literally the name if it) and spoke to someone who confirmed that they had what I was looking for in stock. He then gave me directions on how to get there and since it was close to closing time, asked if they would stay until I got there in case I ran into traffic. I ended up purchasing my light and found a new local store that I have since made additional purchases from. On a subsequent visit, Carlton informed me that he was later able to locate the light that he couldn't find previously. But, because of his commitment to his customers without thinking of his own bottom line, I will continue to return here and recommend him and his staff to anyone that will listen.
