I was looking for a product that was selling for $26.49 but that the product was unavailable and the next equivalent product was selling for $29.99, $3.50 higher; the lower priced products had chemical preservatives which I am sensitive to. I went to the customer service desk seeking a small discount and I was denied any discount consideration. This was not the courtesy I expected at the customer service desk. I left feeling not just exactly right about the whole experience. No compassion, no courtesy.

Aside from losing a $200 sale, you lost a customer FOR LIFE. Since Amazon's prices are WAY less.... you have only TWO advantages: A customer's ability to try things on for size, and face-to-face customer service. Flush those two things down the toilet, then DON'T be so surprised when your store is chosen to be shut down.

The plus size department is so attractively displayed, that I often find myself in the wrong department.
