The process was quick and easy, the employee that I worked with was not only a pleasure to talk to but she quickly adapted to the needs of my girlfriend. The service was outstanding and efficient. I will definitely be visiting again in the near feature for my mother's birthday gift. I highly recommend this store to anyone. Many are the skimpy style that you would see at a dance club for 18-21 year olds. So, basically, imagine a F21 dress, that normally sells for around $10-$20, priced at $100-$170. None of the dresses are from any of the common brands that one would see at department stores like Macy's, JCPenney, Nordstrom, etc. E.g. Anne Klein, Eliza J, Jessica Howard, etc. The sizes for the cocktail/party dresses run small and are also similar to F21. Almost every dress was solid color, so not many patterns, and also not many unique cuts (IMO). In the dressing room, you can see the beads/sequins/etc. on the floor from falling off the dresses. If you look closely at many of the dresses, you can see the missing beads or loose threads or irregular sewing. I'm of the opinion that the shop batch buys off-brand Chinese dresses through a mass wholesaler, such as Aliexpress, and then prices them up to sell at a profit locally. I will say, though, that many of the core brands at the department stores are also going downhill. I saw plenty of dresses of similar shoddy construction at the department stores that I visited. :( I have been traveling across CT for several weekends now looking for a quality, pretty cocktail dress for a wedding that I'm attending in June. I was hoping to get a dress that I could wear for multiple functions. A dress from this store would be lucky to even last through one evening. It was the worst store that I visited in terms of quality/design. I feel bad saying that because I very much care about supporting local businesses. But the simple truth is that I would never visit this shop again and I would not personally recommend it. I will say, though, that the store was very clean and very well organized by color, and the two sales people were very kind and attentive. Also, they had a wide array of colors. If you're desperate for a clubbing dress of a certain color for a specific event, and if you don't mind paying a lot of cash for a one-time-use dress, this might be a helpful shop for you.

I just received my order, shipped to me here on London, Ontario, Canada. It is my first on line order and I was a little apprehensive about delivery time, duty, and purchasing without seeing the merchandise first. I already had some Pacific cotton products, so I knew the quality. The customer service girls at Hello Boutique were so accommodating by measuring actual stock pieces, so I could make a correct size choice. Well, it only took 15 days to get here in spite of the fact that Canada Post could not track the parcel. I went to the Canada Post website and filled out some info so they could inform me as soon as they knew and they did, although It was on the day I received it. The clothes were perfectly matched and of the quality I expected. Soooo happy. FYI Canadian buyers--the exchange rate on my visa was just under 30%, there was no duty on a $306 purchase but there was HST of $39.78 and handling charge of $9.95 due when the postie delivered it ( $ 49.73 ) and that was payable by cash or credit card---just a heads up on what to expect. read more

Hello Boutique has been a favorite online shop for many years! The range of clothing - from cutting edge European fashions to the reliable natural fiber (and simple shapes) of Flax etc is are amazing. In addition to the wide selection available immediately,you can custom order items in your size and in the color that appeals to you most. And the customer service is awesome. Everyone i have dealt with has been very helpful. The comment about unprofessional packaging surprises me - All the merchandise I've received is in great condition. Each item is generally in a full-sized plastic bag that it could be stored in. And there is tissue paper wrapped around the full order. Indeed you do have to pay for return shipping, but that's typical for a boutique-type store. Shopping online works for me - and I love checking out Hello Boutique! read more

I love the Bryn Walker clothing line, and Hello Boutique is my go-to website to preorder the new season's heavy linen dresses ( the Ansley and Tara styles). I've done online searches for this brand which included every state in the country along with stores carrying this brand in Canada ( expensive shipping rates!!). This boutique has the biggest selection of BW clothing that I have ever seen. I've done special orders with them many times, and their service department always keeps me up to date with the order status and notifies me when my items ship. I highly recommend this company to others and will eventually get into their actual store- I live in CT but have only been doing online shopping since the pandemic. I have shopped here for years online as I live in Texas. This shop carries great designers and the staff could not be more helpful. Some clothes come larger or smaller than a regular medium and this store has always been responsive to exchanging or refunding an item. I think their packaging is fine as who would not want to clean an item before wearing it so wrinkles are minor and as far as paying for shipping, this shop carries a GREAT inventory and is not huge like Amazon, Walmart and Target so does not get the quantity discounts to cover shipping. not only does this boutique have darling, comfortable trendy, and stylish clothing. their customer service is amazing. Recently, I inadvertently bought something online and on sale that stipulated credit only would be issued if one needed to return their purchase. I bought the same item in two sizes thinking I would return the one that didn't fit(or both) for a full refund. When I explained to them that I had not seen the credit only policy, they were gracious with a one time exception to give me my full refund on my return. So nice! I'm a first time customer and shop primarily online. I found them through a search an promptly ordered a shirt on sale and a couple items for an upcoming vacation. Within the hour I received an email with shipping info and received the shipment in 2 days. That required cooperation from the post office, but they're right on it. I love the variety of edgy clothing that I've had a difficult time finding for people over 50. I haven't tried it yet, but they suggest calling for assistance in putting together an outfit or finding items to go with your purchase. I bet they'd be great an a time saver. I've been coming to Hello Boutique for many years, sometimes to browse and to say hello, and sometimes to find a piece of clothing for a special event or for travel, and to find gifts for others. (Their scarf collection is fantastic.) I love the pieces I have bought from here, which range in price from expensive to inexpensive; many I am still wearing years later. I'm not quite sure how I would have clothed myself without them! The staff are warm and welcoming and also honest in their appraisals. As a New Yorker I didn't expect anything unusual in fashion in New Haven, but I've learned a lot from Hello Boutique. The clothes are discreetly high fashion, they fit perfectly into both work hours and after work events, the cuts are flattering, and the service was excellent. What amazed me is the package that arrive at my building about a week later - I thought the packer must have forgotten some items.
