It looks like the kind of place that would charge over-the-top prices because it has unique items, but that wasn't the case. Everybody in my group ended up buying something! On a side note, the people at the shop next door were nowhere to be found when our appointment time hit. We mentioned it to the people at Blush, and they went out of their way to contact the owners/employees at the shop where we had the appointment (they must have called 10 different people). This is a super cute store with interesting clothes/accessories/jewelry, and it is owned and run by real, nice human beings. Highly recommended!

I literally went in last year not having any idea of what I wanted to do for Halloween, and came out as the ghost of Jackson Pollock!! For realzies! They prefer cash (and all rentals require a cash-only deposit for the total cost of the items, but you get two-thirds of it back when you return them), but take checks and CCs for purchase over $20. Plus, some weekends they have sidewalk sales, which is waaaayyyy more fun than digging through some rando's front yard! Two thumbs up!

I really gravitated toward the silver pieces, some of which were very classic but most being a bit more modern and eclectic. I tend to like bigger earrings; there were some that fit that criterion, though it seemed that more earrings were smaller or basic drops. While I appreciated that the woman I worked with was not being pushy, it kind of seemed like she wasn't listening to what I said or what I was gravitating toward. It wasn't a big deal, but in the end, I feel like I was doing all the work. There also seemed to be a weird dynamic between her and another person who worked here around doing the exchange. I don't think anything weird was going on, but the tension was noticeable. Lastly, be sure you understand the exchange and return policy. The full refund window is only two weeks, and then there's an additional window for store credit. The person who originally got me the present said he had not been aware of that policy, and ultimately, I still have some credit I need to come back and use.
