I loved there is a free little pantry in the corridor as you enter. Take what you need, leave what you can! You are able to bring in donations of kitchen wares and gently used clothing, accessories, and shoes for 30% off purchases. You are given a rewards card and on your 6th donation, you can get $10 off your purchase. As soon as I walked in a pair of union at olive colored pants caught my eye. They fit perfectly! As I checked out I was informed pants were 30% off. I got a perfect pair of labra for just over $6. What a wonderful value. I was so happy and felt great! We loved the bright, fun atmosphere and will absolutely be back to bring in donations. 5 stars!

I'm not always one for things without rhinestones and glitter but I have to admit I was surrounded with beauty when I stepped thru the door at LOVET! The shop itself screams good taste and an eye for design but this also flows thru to it's products. I sifted thru soft, beautiful things and was immediately impressed by the top of the line quality of each and every item. You can tell whoever selects items to sell has been doing it correctly for quite some time. BUT...don't take my word for it ladies! Browse the contents yourself and give me a SHOUT BACK! I love their selection of Clara Sunwoo which are mostly if not all made in USA. They have a nice selection of accessories including hats and jewelry. The best thing is that the shop offers a nice selection and their pricing is very reasonable. I can shop local, get unique stuff at a good price. The chandeliers and mirrors add a great feel to the shop sort of home like and comfortable. Galinas has a second shop at Mohegan Sun so if you find something you like but they don't have your size, they can check the other shop. Try it out. A nice addition to downtown.

However in the last couple of years it hasn't been the same. First, the variety of items available seemed to shift a bit. They were great for finding cute seasonal decor that you wouldn't see anywhere else. That was gone. They were great for finding styles you wouldn't find elsewhere, at least not easily. They also carried a wide range of sizes which made it great to shop for anyone. All of that is now gone. They carry the same styles you can find in any store, at higher prices, and only in standard sizes. The other thing is they have a decent sized store front and have never reopened it since Covid first hit! If you want to shop for anything, you have to buy it online without being able to see or try anything on in person. Also, you'd better hope it fits because you only have 7 days from the *purchase* date to return it. Need more than 7 days? Store credit only. It's too bad really. There's nothing similar in the area and they had so much potential, but it's impossible to shop at a location that literally does not allow their customers into their store anymore.
