Not everyone gives a 5 star review about this place. I have a couple friends who didn't have a good experience and their reviews were removed from Google. I called to ask about a gun I was looking for and was told, we don't even have that brand in the store right now at all. I asked if I could order one, and was cut short with the answer, we already have them on order. I felt like I was bothering them, so I hung up and went to Hoffman's and just bought it there. No hard feelings, but when you treat somebody like that, they aren't going to give you another chance. You have to question a business that shows only all 5 star Google reviews. read more

My first interaction with this business was to do an FFL transfer of a shotgun I ordered. I was in and out in maybe 20min (it was rather busy that day, and FFL transfers in CT typically take that long anyway because the DESPP takes ages to answer a call), so this was a bit quicker than normal). I maintained email correspondence with the owner Tom, and the individual that sold and shipped the firearm. Tom was extremely polite and thorough with his responses, and though I hadn't met him during in person during this interaction, I knew I'd be back. I got a good deal on some gun parts that had to be shipped to an FFL, and I emailed Tom with a quick question to be sure about something. I got a response back within the hour and my question was answered with the same precision and professionalism from before. This time, I actually got to meet him in person and while he may seem like a giant mean person (I get the same from people) he truly is gentle and polite in person too! AND HE REMEMBERED ME FROM MONTHS PRIOR for the transfer! THAT, alone, is a HUGE thing for me. We chatted, laughed, while he managed multiple things at once. Eventually, I finished the sale with his wife as he had to tend to some other things with other customers and I was on my merry way.
