Steve has the right STUFF!! I was initially put off by this curiosity shop because many of the…read moreitems weren't priced. I'm not a fan of asking "how much is this?" each time I see a piece that interests me. But I was quickly won over by the owner's friendly, hospitable and inviting demeanor. He explained that there is so much turnover in inventory, and so much of it, that it's a challenge to price everything quickly. Ok, cool! Doubt alleviated! As we ventured more deeply into this cavern filled with treasures, we discovered lots of cool pieces that struck a chord! The shadow box filled with badges and medals was alluring, and the sports memorabilia piqued my nephew's interest. The furniture was fabulous, many one-of-a-kind pieces that would surely add flair to any décor. There's also a case of figurines and knick knacks that would make cool conversation pieces. Another large display case held teapots, teacups & retro kitchenware. Everything was well appointed with little vignettes hither and thither on every table and shelf. We were quite mesmerized by the place. It was clean, well organized and intriguing. My daughter gathered several copper pots and containers for her collection, as well as an unusual brass unicorn spigot/faucet that was delightful! My niece perused the aisles while my sis-in-law and I spied the jewelry cases! I found some sterling silver & turquoise earrings along with a unique kite brooch of onyx and mother of pearl. Sis found a dainty pearl necklace, a strand of long cultured pearls, & a pretty pair of vintage cameo earrings. I loved Steve's willingness to wheel & deal and he made our day!! The prices didn't put a strain on our purses!! We left this shop chattering about what a fun experience it was to enter this enchanting establishment! I dare you to leave empty handed!

They have a great variety of items at reasonable prices and Steve is knowledgable , friendly, and…read morecurtious. If you don't see it ask him, he has many items in stock. Well worth a visit!

First, the notice of the auction was not emailed to me until maybe two days before the auction at most. Then, when I tried to register for bidding, I was given a notice that my registration was "pending." (Most of the other auction houses accept registration immediately as all my information, including credit card, is stored on the Internet bidding site.) I received an email the day of the auction requesting me to download and fill out some form to complete registration and get it back to them ASAP. Here is their request: "To be manually approved you will need to read and agree to the attached C.O.S. as well as complete, sign and return the attached credit form." I mean, really? How many other people might have wanted to bid on this auction but were not made aware of it in a timely fashion or didn't go through the rigamarole requested? I see items I was wanting to bid on went for less than I was willing to bid. The items' owners did not get the money they could have gotten if this auction house had its digital act together.

I'm a 68 year old woman in 85 degree direct sun with neuropathy. I felt very very faint. As they spent time moving furniture to get to boxes up very high and then opening each one, I asked if I could just look real quick so my few items could get pulled. was told no. then instead of apologizing to the growing line , we were told it was hard on them too No mea culpa "sorry we messed up" but instead they're victim too. He said I didn't know what they're going through and I said you don't know what we have gone through either that morning. He said you're just impatient. Yes I was and about to faint on their floor after being told it was 5 minutes 15 minutes ago. I didn't yell or curse How much easier would it have been to say "Sorry everyone, we messed up and have to organize everything, it's going to be at least 20-30 minutes, please come back later or tomorrow, again our utmost apologies" Anyhoos banned me from their website and another one too, long time customer of 10 years spending significant amount of money that helps in retirement. I was at one of first auction ninjas sales 10 years ago where I drove down to Scarsdale and found they had given my lot to another customer. Things happen Next time just say you're sorry Grant Paranese (the managing partner) it's not about you and your day. (kudos to the ladies trying to help those that didn't need Christmas) Women who speak up shouldn't be an affront to your ego and punished, sometimes we're just tired, hot, about to faint, would like a chair and would like you to think of the customer
