I'm not a fan of asking "how much is this?" each time I see a piece that interests me. But I was quickly won over by the owner's friendly, hospitable and inviting demeanor. He explained that there is so much turnover in inventory, and so much of it, that it's a challenge to price everything quickly. Ok, cool! Doubt alleviated! As we ventured more deeply into this cavern filled with treasures, we discovered lots of cool pieces that struck a chord! The shadow box filled with badges and medals was alluring, and the sports memorabilia piqued my nephew's interest. The furniture was fabulous, many one-of-a-kind pieces that would surely add flair to any décor. There's also a case of figurines and knick knacks that would make cool conversation pieces. Another large display case held teapots, teacups & retro kitchenware. Everything was well appointed with little vignettes hither and thither on every table and shelf. We were quite mesmerized by the place. It was clean, well organized and intriguing. My daughter gathered several copper pots and containers for her collection, as well as an unusual brass unicorn spigot/faucet that was delightful! My niece perused the aisles while my sis-in-law and I spied the jewelry cases! I found some sterling silver & turquoise earrings along with a unique kite brooch of onyx and mother of pearl. Sis found a dainty pearl necklace, a strand of long cultured pearls, & a pretty pair of vintage cameo earrings. I loved Steve's willingness to wheel & deal and he made our day!! The prices didn't put a strain on our purses!! We left this shop chattering about what a fun experience it was to enter this enchanting establishment! I dare you to leave empty handed!

I was 5 min late, lost in the woods without connection. I arrived to the location the Seller was gone. I called him immediately. Long talk about my fault of being late, asking for 30 dollars to come back and give me my item. I was really 5 minutes late. I asked for money refund. It was a NO. My advice if you want to work with this company: 1. Read the small print 2. Leave early not to be late 3. If anything happens be ready to pay a big premium or lose your time and money. This Company will not do anything for YOU. They are in it for themselves. Your problems-your loss. No help, no cooperation.

The emerald green ice bucket was described as being in excellent condition. However, when I got home, I realized that it had a very obvious chip on the rim which will effect its resale value. She also described a framed image on glass as a reverse painting and it turned out to be an etched painting on glass. I sent her an email expressing my concern and indicating that I hoped she would be more diligent when posting items for auction by examining them carefully and providing accurate descriptions. I did not ask for a refund. But she ignored my email and didn't bother to acknowledge her mistakes, apologize, etc. No response. I then sent a second email noting that I was surprised and disappointed that she did not bother to acknowledge my email. Again, she ignored the email. No response. So I am posting this review.

This lady is an amazing trove of historical information and that is why I love it. Julie knows what these things are, their provenance and the detailed history behind each piece. She is an expert in the field and farmhouse style antiques is what Julie eats, sleeps and breaths, 24/7. And the inventory! I honestly don't know how she constantly finds such incredible items. Every time I stop by, it seems like 1/3 of the store is stuff I hadn't seen before. Over the years I have bought a table, some stoneware and many a fist full of silverware (and she has a TON of it). She has an absolutely gorgeous cabinet that I drool over every time I am there, but I just don't have the room for it sadly. Trust me, you'll love the store, don't listen to the Karen's. My wife opened an antique book on the table whose cover was already detached -- clearly old damage -- and it fell off as she opened it. The owner immediately stormed over and began berating her with an attitude that can only be described as hostile and condescending. She snatched a tiny piece of paper off the floor and inferring it was a "sign" warning customers not to touch -- insinuating my wife had somehow knocked it down. Then, dripping with sarcasm, she sneered, "Will that be cash or card?" while trying to force her to buy not only the already damaged book but the entire set. As if that wasn't enough, the owner followed us around the store like a hawk, glaring and muttering under her breath. When we finally decided to leave, she actually followed us outside -- screaming obscenities, calling my wife a vile name (The "C" word several times), and cruelly insulting my daughter's appearance even though my daughter had nothing to do with the incident and remained quiet. As we were leaving, I could distinctly hear the owner sarcastically tell us: "Be sure to go on Yelp and review my shop!" Thank you for the suggestion, Julie, I'll take your suggestion. From reading other reviews, it's clear this isn't an isolated incident. This owner has a history of being rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional toward customers. I fully expect Julie will attempt to respond to this review by defending or excusing her behavior--perhaps even further revealing her behavior. I suppose we'll see. There are plenty of wonderful antique shops in Woodbury that actually respect their customers -- this is not one of them.
