Or are the prices here getting pretty high? S H O P P I N G I came here looking for things for Christmas. I was looking for both stocking stuffers and a secret Santa gift. There were quite a bit of options, and I went a little wild with the shopping. I bought way too many items. I did appreciate how during Christmas time they put a lot of gift items at the very beginning of the store, and I didn't even have to walk more than a few feet to find more than enough options for what I was looking for. I did find a really cool SpongeBob sweatshirt that I purchased for myself. When I went home, I realized that it was too big and I needed a size smaller. I came back about a week later, and I couldn't find the sweatshirt again. When I purchased the shirt, there were probably 15 available and it was pretty close to Christmas. The cashier at the front told me that they did have them, but had to move them. Unfortunately, they had completely changed the layout of the store and I had no idea where they had put those sweatshirts. And I really wanted it! That was my only qualm. S E R V I C E I thought the cashiers were kind. When I came back a week later to return some of the items that I didn't end up needing, they were nice about it. I didn't have any issues. A M B I E N C E Because of the location, and because it's TJ Maxx, this place gets pretty busy so it can feel a little tight at times because it's not as big as some of their other stores. P R I C E Typical TJ Maxx prices. Though I do feel TJ Maxx prices are steadily increasing to where you no longer feel like you're getting a deal. R A T I N G One star off because outside of the Christmas, I have been back here and I don't feel they have a great variety. I also don't like how they rearrange their stores so quick after Christmas. It was really difficult to find the same items.

Located next to some other amazing stores, I usually go into Ross for a number of items such as home decor and things for my dog. But for the most part, I visit Ross for their candles and because they're an Amazon pickup location! Getting packages where I live can be a pain sometimes and love that this is an option vs. getting a PO box or something similar. All I have to do is have my order shipped here, it's added to this fancy locker system and I unlock it with my phone. Easy peasy! Once completed, I go about my shopping experience. The lines can be long sometimes depending on the season and time of the day, but the employees are quick and helpful when needed. Always a great, cost-efficient experience!

I love that they have a design center and in theory that would be helpful before ordering any furniture. There are two rooms and apparently a staff member to speak with (though I have never actually seen anything here). I do like that they have all the upholstery options for you to see in person and feel if you want/need prior to ordering. The actual design room doen;t really ever seem to change though which strikes m as odd. Great slection and organized store. Good selection of petits and some bridal whihc is a plaus for me at the moment as I shopping for honeymoon. I do think they decor selection isn't as varried as other locations like Lenox, Alpharetta, or West Side (odd beciase there is so much oppertunity witht eh huge floorprint). Fitting rooms are big and clean with lots of seating and nooks for your personal items to not have to sit on the ground. I have never waited in line for a fitting room - though I have never been here on a weekend. Sale section could be better - again it is large but I never seem to find anything like I do in other locations. Staff is freindly but never seem to be around (possibly due to size of gthe store with the amount of walls as dividers). It doesn't bother me as I am the type to not ant to talk to anytime unless I have a question but I could see how it may be a negative for others. This is my neighborhood TJ Maxx and it's been around since 2007. Over the last 12+ years, when my mom has visited me in Atlanta, she's stopped by this store. And my significant others (past and present) have shopped here too. This TJ Maxx is located at The District at Howell Mill just off I-75 exit 252. My fiancee's carry-on roller bag broke so we came here looking for a new one. As soon as we entered the store, front and center on display were some black, 20-inch, Samsonite Pallant spinner (four-wheel) bags that I thought were ideal. She wasn't as big a fan of them as me, but I liked them. They were soft, lightweight (less than eight pounds) and expandable, had both top and side handles, and multiple pockets/compartments. The price was $79.99 each which I thought was reasonable (regularly $130, I believe). There were only two so I grabbed one while my fiancee looked around the luggage section to see if she could find anything better. She couldn't, so we got it. The only thing I didn't like about the bag was it felt a little cheap and flimsy. My well-traveled and savvy mom found a better bag online at Macy's with next-day pickup available at Lenox Square. It was a 21-inch Delsey Meteor spinner for $86.99 (regularly $250; I think they took advantage of some sale or offer or something). This model was available in different colors which my fiancee liked. She ended up choosing Midnight Blue. She did not like the boring black color of the Samsonite. Like the Samsonite bag, the Delsey bag was lightweight. However, the Delsey bag was higher in quality, from the extendable roller handle to the wheels (they were good and strong). Overall, the Delsey bag looked nicer too. We returned here the next day to return the Samsonite bag. We noticed that the other Samsonite bag had sold also. To return merchandise at TJ Maxx, you stand in the same line as if you're checking out. Service was fine, both when we purchased the bag and returned it.
