I am not entirely certain how to begin explaining the worst customer care I have experienced in years. On Sunday, we noticed our air conditioner was not working properly. We called a few companies and Marshall's promised to be at my house the following day between 3-5 PM and this could be handled with out being labeled "an emergency". We decided to set up the appointment and deal with the heat until then. Here is a time line of my experience with Marshall Services. Monday 1 PM: My husband leaves work early. 3-5 PM: This was the window of time given to me by Marshall. NOTHING HAPPENS. No call from Marshall that the tech will be late. 5:30 PM: I call and speak to Melissa (who was very sweet). She tells me she will get a tech on the line and will call me right back. 5:40 PM: Erin calls to inform my husband that someone will be out in 30 minutes. 7:36 PM: Still no tech. I call Marshall again and am told by Erin a will see a tech in an hour. I am informed that as we were not an emergency, we were moved to the middle of the list. That Erin has had about 150 calls that day and has had a very busy day. I inform her that I understand however, all I asked for was some communication. She "yes-ed" me to get me off the phone. 8:30 PM: I am fairly positive they aren't arriving and begin calling hotels in the area that can take me and the dogs. No dice. 8:53 PM: No tech and no call from Marshall's saying he would be even later. I call again and am told the tech will be in an hour. 9:30 PM: I have no faith this company will arrive so my husband runs to Walmart to pick up a window unit to get me through the night. 9:40 PM: This is where it gets good. My husband calls me and informs me that a tech reached out to him. He told my husband that he just (!) received a call to head out to my house and would be there in 40 minutes. 10:37 PM: Tech arrives. He is knowledgeable however, we were insanely over charged for a coolant injection. Everywhere we called previously priced this service at $120-$170. Marshall's charged us $215 and also charged us $60-something for the service call. 11:48 PM: Tech leaves. All this annoyance could have been avoided if Marshall's just communicated with me. All they had to do was say, "It's hot. A tech called out and we are behind. If we put you in for an emergency, we can be there sooner". Instead they did nothing. I felt as if they lied to me repeated yesterday. Deciding to use Marshall Services cost me the following: -Half a day of work -A double boarding fee for my dog (I have two 80 pound dogs who can't be in the heat. I was under the impression my AC would be looked at by 5PM and they could come home. Nope, the boarder closes at 8 and I had to go pick them up. They proceeded to lay uncomfortable on my floor, whining while my husband and I took turns attempting to provide them relief from the heat) -$200 for a window unit AC after deciding we had been had -$40 more for a service that other quotes. -Hours updating my friends/family/coworkers/neighbors about the super fun time we were having playing phone tag and being ignored -4 Excedrin Migraine read more

I just had an annual electrical evaluation, performed by Christopher. I would give him more than five stars if it were possible. He arrived on time, explained his process and got to work. I followed him through the house so I could show him outlet locations, the breaker panel and so on. He was the perfect combination of efficiency, knowledge and friendliness, all the while explaining what he was doing and why. He is an excellent representative for Marshall Services and it was easy to have him in my home. I would hire him any day for any job! I have found Marshall Services to be very customer oriented as well as professional. My last call was for an A/C check up and it was shocking to learn what the prior company had done that was not only wrong but potentially dangerous. I'm sorry I can't recall the name of that technician because he was also very professional, knowledgeable and friendly, and I would recommend him as well. I also appreciate the upbeat attitude you get on the phone when calling to schedule an appointment; Donna is super pleasant! All in all, I recommend Marshall Services on all points. read more

We had Marshall do our air duct cleaning last October. We needed had to get our hardwood floors refinished and had another air duct cleaning company come out after all the sanding and re staining for the floors were done When they vacuumed out our duct chunks of drywall, drywall screws and other building debris , from when the house was built over 20 years ago, were sucked out of the ducts. It was obvious that Marshall never properly vacuumed or cleaned the air ducts because had they done so the debris that had been laying in the ducts would have been vacuumed out. Also it took them less than 2 hours to " clean" all the ducts in our house The second time our ducts were cleaned the air duct contractor was there for over 3 + hours getting the ducts properly cleaned out. I would NOT recommend Marshall for this type of service read more

We originally selected Marshall Home Comfort team to come to our home in 2015 to install a new hot water heater. We were so happy with this company that we called on them again this year to install a new HVAC system. The installation team arrived right at 8:30AM ready to work. They were very professional at all times. If asked for one word to describe my experience with this company - it would have to be RESPECTFUL. They took care to protect our home when bringing the new HVAC equipment into the house as well as removing the old one. Work was completed by afternoon and the team ensured everything was cleaned up and disposed of properly. They even took care to ensure our pets (dog and cat) were OK with their work. I was having water heater problems (only 3 years old) and they came out and realized when I changed the elements and thermostats I didnt have the one wire connected well enough and one of the elements wasnt heating so I paid them the 30$ dispatch fee and they left. Well, our water was only luke warm so when they followed up on our satisfaction we had said the water was not as hot as it should be. They came out again and realized the mixing valve was wide open so they closed it and we had HOT water again and didnt charge for the second visit since the problem wasnt fixed.. I have been a customer for over 5 years and always have always had great service. When I moved into my home we had no central Air condition. They came to my home evaluated our needs and provided a plan for our family. The process was hassle free and we had a new efficient air condition within a short time. The technicians are prompt , polite , and knowledgeable. John and Seth were excellent they went above and beyond with their level of professionalism. The had to search for the cleanout which the previous homeowner had built a wall in front of. once a small section of the wall was cut out they found the cap was fused to the pipe and need to drill out the old cap. after removing the old cap they then proceeded to clean the main sewer line of tree roots and provide me a quote to have the line inspected with a camera in the future to ensure the problem could have a permanent solution. We have been thoroughly satisfied with all our interaction with Marshall Services. Initially we were only interested in an Oil Supplier. Their deliveries have been prompt, minimally intrusive and dependable. When we have needed maintenance it was equally reliable, courteous and efficient. We are expecting to replace our Air Conditioning system. Normally we would get three estimates and hire the lowest bidder. I called Marshall's at night because the temperature in the house was dropping like a stone. They sent a tech out almost immediately to see what was wrong. He verified that we had oil and then diagnosed a faulty oil pump, which he replaced right away. The tech is named Lance, and I hope I get him the next time I need a repair. He's a very nice young man, and obviously a good technician. It took a while to replace the pump, and the poor guy was working in the cold, but he never complained. Marshall's Plumbing is really great. With plumber Steve and digging crew led by Steve, My sewer line replacement went amazing. They replaced from the house to the sewer stub and did it for a great value. They were extremely transparent and told me of all my options. The digging crew was also great. very careful and very quick. They left practically no mess and were very careful of the surroundings. Asked permission to remove things instead of just removing. If i ever have another plumbing issue again Marshall's will be the call. read more

Ben from Marshall Services just left after bringing our AC back online and tuning up our aged and tired system. He was very highly knowledgeable and skilled which I feel I am qualified to determine. He also busted his ass in a broiling attic and then worked it off going above and beyond afterward, which I know I'm qualified to recognize. He determined the problem, gave me different repair options, and completed the repairs. Pete did a great job. Great service. We needed both a new A/C and furnace. Last week Tom came to our home, calculated the size of unit we needed, and clearly explained all of our options. We were not pressured and he answered all of our questions. The next day Ian, Tim, and Stephen did an excellent job of installing both our new A/C and furnace.
