Absolute worst experience ever. After breaking the shifter to put my truck into 4WD they refused to fix it. They ordered the part but refused to install because they weren't real sure if they broke it or not. Let me tell you they broke it. Worked perfectly until I went to go value my vehicle for trade. Roger the used car sales manager is the ideal opposite of polite as I went to pick up my part and he says you're welcome in the most rude way as I was walking out the door. Nobody wanted to take responsibility for the damage they caused. So if you are in the market for a new vehicle I highly recommend going somewhere other than Marshal Mize Ford read more

Collision center. Dropped vehicle off for body damage for deer hitting it filed through insurance. Get my truck back and none of my tire sensors and backup camera are working. They kept insisting that they weren't working when I dropped it off even though they obviously were since i checked and used them before I dropped it off. Not sure why anything electrical would have been messed with for body damage whatsoever. I wouldn't recommend this place. You will get your vehicle back with more problems than you came with. read more

Purchased a 2012 Taurus with low mileage, one owner, and in excellent condition for approximately $14,200. Since I'm from out of state, Sales Manager Roger Coley (who sold me the vehicle) was willing to overnight the paperwork and hire drivers to transport it down to Tampa where I'd drive up from Fort Lauderdale to pick it up. The purchasing process was [for the most part] a smooth transaction. The vehicle itself is everything I expected it to be with no surprises. Although, during the purchasing process there's one thing he promised to provide when I requested it that I never received and that was the second keyless PEPS remote fob for a family member. Also, two fobs are needed to program the now-unsecured door keypad. Was first told "I know we have it and will give it to the drivers". That changed when picking it up to "the first owner still has [found] it and will be bringing it in this week so it can be mailed to me". Called Roger to verify and he affirmed this by asking me to call back in a week. So I did, and was then told "we need to [haven't yet] call the first owner to bring it in" and to "wait for us to call you". Three weeks passed and no call nor e-mail. At that stage, any further calls and e-mails were left ignored and unanswered. Tired to contact the General Manager, same result. So having enough of this, I called Roger's mobile number. He assured me "I haven't forgotten about you, we called the owner and she claimed she gave us everything" and "we've been very busy" as well as "we must have it inventoried and tagged somewhere if they gave it to us, we just need to look for it". After hearing that, I was convinced I was getting the runaround. Lastly, I called him again after a week to hear a stern "we don't have it", and he repeated that answer when I wanted to know why. When I respectfully requested they honer their promise, I was told "we can't do that" and that I would need to purchase a new one and pay to have it paired with the vehicle. This could have been a five-star review, but what was a simple thing got turned into a complicated customer service problem. read more

After going to look at a GMC Denali truck down the road and the trucks were new with 750 miles on them, we decided to go over the damn and check out a King Ranch F-150. I currently have a F-250 King Ranch and it rides ruff when traveling, so we wanted a half ton truck. We were only in town for a couple of days and we had to leave on Sunday and it was Friday. They had some nice trucks and our salesperson was OK. He was a typical sales person in which he agreed with everything to try to get us to buy that truck we were test driving. We really wanted a King Ranch F-150 in a certain color that they didn't have. They did have a demo but wrong color. I told the sales person that we would think about it and let them know Saturday. He wanted my phone number and I made the mistake of giving it to him. He knew we really wanted a certain color that they didn't have. So on Saturday we realized there was another Ford dealership downtown so we went to look at what they had. While looking at the trucks the other dealer salesperson starts blowing my phone up saying have we made our mind up? He can get the color of truck we want brought in on Monday or Tuesday, even though we told him we had to leave Sunday. He texted me several times and called and left messages while we were at the other dealership. It really upset us that he was begging. We did see a truck that was the color we liked and bought it on the spot. While in making a deal he kept texting me. We knew then we made the right decision to go to Mountain View Ford. Not this dealership. We told several friends how we were treated and told them under no circumstances should they give out your phone number to them, or any dealership for that matter. read more

Shannon, the General Manager, was rude, condescending, and insulting! My wife and I walked in to the dealership with info about a car that was to be arriving at this dealership shortly. The sales dept was confused about the specs of this car, for which I was able to provide them the VIN number and the window sticker; that quickly sorted out the confusion. I was prepared to buy the car on the spot, but Shannon approaches me and introduces himself; I knew something was up. He says "I don't know where you got this price..." and then tells me "the price is actually [$40k more]." Then, when I questioned him directly about ADM, he reluctantly admits yes, that's because the dealership's owner has decided the car deserves a $40k markup on top of MSRP. I informed Shannon that I was not interested in the car, for that price, and refuse pay ADMs, and certainly not one that brings the price up by $40k. Shannon's reply, "I didn't think you were still interested." So at this point, he was implying I don't have the means to buy this ridiculously overpriced car. In no way, through this dialogue, did I feel like Shannon wanted to work with us in any way. He stated there was "absolutely no negotiation" on this car. I'll buy cars from the west coast before I buy from this dealership. UPDATE: Bought the exact same car (model, color & options) at another dealership today (8/14/17). read more

A few years ago I tried to trade in my 07 ford ranger sport with low miles on a f-150 this is the crazy thing with the trade in and discounts I was only financing $15,000 on a f150 so when they did the numbers they came up with $600 to $700 dollars a month then I said that makes no sense and they said there computer we're never wrong I look at them and said fine I don't have to buy a vehicle from them and left and went to another dealership. Other than trying to bill me for a loaner while my less than 12k mile vecicle was undergoing WARRANTY service; an okay experience. Aaron in sales was very thorough and nice when buying my new truck, but I feel the managers or something were intentionally slow and irritating in getting me out the door. I was all pre approved, etc but it still took over 5 hours to buy a damn truck! I work for a living, and this slow level of service at the point of sale was unacceptable. Marshal Mize has a very friendly honest staff. This is my....12th? vehicle I have purchased from them!! I wouldn't shop anywhere else.

Never buy a car from them or have your car serviced here!!! Picked up my brand new company car (Ford Fusion Platinum) and the heated/cooled seats didn't work, the A/C malfunctions a lot, and the sensors are messed up. If you try to use the parallel park feature it runs you straight into the curb (or off a cliff). Randomly when driving it thinks there is something on the right side and throws all the sensors even when nothing is there. Then randomly it will not detect when you are about to hit something. Just a few days ago the windshield (while parked and no impact signs) decided to crack halfway across. So I finally decide to take it in for service, I have been in contact with them several times about the issues but have not had time to deal with it. Now with the windshield crack I could not ignore it. So I take it in today, and they will not cover a rental or give me a loaner car while mine is being serviced. It only has 1,200 miles on it... they apparently work with a shuttle service that was unavailable even though I have a lunch meeting. They offered no other solutions, so here I am sitting in an Uber to go get my personal car since they apparently couldn't care. Thanks Marshal Mize Ford. read more

Had an appointment with their service department told them I would drop it off at 7 the next morning they canceled my appointment after getting back into service it took them nearly a week to even start working on it, I get a call it's ready so I pick it up pay them what I owe and get not even to the first red light and my truck started jerking turned around got the service advisor took him for a ride he says drive it for the weekend and bring it back after going to O'Reillys to see what the check engine light is that came on after it started jerking so I did and o it's a misfire on cylinder 4, I call them back Friday and they say o we never touched the engine area only the rear end. Funny thing to me when I picked it up the hood was popped I'll never deal with marshal mize again read more

Great service. They worked with me both Mark Moore and Allen Wrinn to reach a deal that was fair to everyone. Recommend highly.

Had a great experience with Eddie Owensby and the rest of the Marshall Mize Ford team during my recent purchase.

I was looking at the website online, I received a phone call asking me to come to the dealership to look at what they had in stock. I was giving a VIP number and told who to look for when I arrived. VIP what a joke, these people treated me like I couldn't afford anything they had. The sales guy actually told me you can't afford that and would not show me the car I was I interested in. I left there went downtown to Mtn View Ford and bought the vehicle I wanted!!!! I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, I recommend you go downtown to Mtn View Ford, those guys are first class and will treat you right!!! read more

Stay away from Mike in buy here pay here. They did not contact me after having had my car for 41 days, the owner did call and 3 days later my car was ready. But! I showed up thursday to pick the car up, and it still wasnt ready. "Oh it needs a battery" probably from sitting for a month. The fact is this has been the worst exoerience ive ever had as a customer. Not too mention the most costly. I bought the car 5 months ago, and now it needs a new transmission adding 2000 to my bill? This is unbelievable. Stay away from buy here pay here guys. Seriously. read more

I never write a review, but this has just gotten out of hand. My car has been to this dealership more times than I can count. I bought it brand new from them and had a great experience with the sales team, but the service department is horrible. They are all nice, but that's about it. My car has been stalling out since it was 6 months old. They rebuilt the transmission because apparently it's an issue with the focus and then they told me there was no way it could be stalling out and that if it was it wasn't their fault and couldn't fix it. THEY TOLD ME THAT FOR A YEAR! Even when it did it when I was in reverse going down my driveway and I had to pull my ebrake and jump out and have it towed out of my own driveway because it was half off a hill and wouldn't start after it stalled. The. A recall finally comes out for it 2 years after the vehicle has been having this problem and they say it won't happen if you keep the gas tank more than half full. Which is a lie my tank stays more than 1/2 at all times. My car stalled on the interstate in the rain while I had my newborn in it and we almost got run over by a rollback. I took it in and they told me they would get it fixed and I could get a loaner or a rental. I told them that the transmission needed to fixed to and they told me they would look at it. Less than 1 business day goes by and they tell me that the light is linked to my recall which I knew and that they would order the part and fix it in two weeks and to bring the rental back and drive my car. I can't drive my car it's not safe to put my kids in. I asked if they could go ahead and fix the leaks and clutch kit in the meantime since I had already mentioned it and he said they would look into doing it two weeks from now and that they won't give me a rental and that i need to just drive my car. Anyone that ever considers going here should buy from literally anyone else. I've always been a fan of Ford. My family has had them my whole life but I can honestly say I'd rather die then ever have to deal with this crap dealership again. read more

Their service department is completely hit-or-miss. I've had very courteous service there, and I've had bottom-of-the-barrel service there. A few pieces of advice - when you call to make a service appointment, write everything down including the person's name you're speaking with at the time. Otherwise, you may get there and they tell you they can't help you because the appointment wasn't recorded and you can't remember the name of the person to whom you spoke. Also, if they tell you they don't have any appointments, but you can drop off your car and they will work it in, do. not. believe. them. Ever. It will be a colossal waste of your time. If you decide to wait there while they complete your service, expect to wait at least 30 minutes longer than quoted. At least they have drinks and a TV. read more

I had a fabulous experience with the Collision Center at Marshall Mize Ford. This dealership was the only choice I was given by my insurance company for the repairs that would not cost me extra. I was leery at first having had a bad experience here many years ago, but thought I would give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised. Aaron in the collision center made my Jeep right. The work was done very competently and the paint guy is amazing. I have had no problem with the vehicle and as promised they put it back like new. I was very happy with all the people I encountered and Trey the salesman was even nice and let me drive a Mustang around the lot while I waited on my husband. Aaron and the collision center have restored my faith in this dealership. Great job Aaron and all the collision center techs. Thanks so much. read more

There are some exceptions. I think the management or the store owner have some policies in place that make it hard for the hard working service techs to do an exceptional job. Another policy is that is wrong is the Courtesy van. I get in the van; I live 10 minutes away. There are people going to Ringgold and Harrison, and I'm asked if I need to be home right away. Versus riding all over GA and SE TN, you bet! Gary does a great job and again MMize wants to make at difficult as possible so you'll bother your friends and neighbors vs using the van. 'Word of mouth' communication with neighbors and friends won't do much for your business either. Mtn View Ford does a better job. Even if you got another van, why not print out on a card with the info Gary has to get from each and ev customer. I didn't buy my car from MMize because I didn't appreciate the sales approach. We have your keys and you can leave until you buy from us. Ended up buying my car from Mtn View. The deal ended up being the similar, but the experience was relaxed and to the point. read more

After much research we decided on a 2017 Ford Fusion as the car we wanted for our expanding family. Greg Morgan and the whole team there made our experience incredibly smooth and expedited. This experience has sealed the deal; regardless of where we are located Marshal Mize is our Dealership! read more

I purchased a brand new 2015 Ford Focus SE back in October of 2015. over a month ago a "service engine" light came on. Since I purchased a 6 year bumper to bumper warranty I took it back to the dealership for repairs. They told me it was a sensor and it would be ready in two days. They put me in a rental car and told me they would call me when it was ready. I go back and pick it up and immediately know there is an issue with the way it was driving. I drove it half a mile down the road and the "service engine" light comes right back on. I take it back less than 20 minutes later and they tell me they need to look into it more and they gave me back my rental. the next day they call and say it needs a new clutch. Which of course is the one thing not covered under this 6 year bumper to bumper warranty. Which also means they will not pay for a rental car. I have to have the car to drive so I tell them to fix it. fast forward 3 days they call and say the part is on back order and it will be a couple of days before they get the part. Fast forward again a week and a half, they get the part in and they say there are pieces missing from the box. So now they have to reorder. Of course it's still on back order. (Side note: Does it concern anyone else that a 2015 clutch is on back order? Are there really THAT many problems with the clutch that i was number 300 on the back order list?) Now here we are. almost 5 weeks since this whole issue started. Ford is unwilling to pay for a rental (They said they would pay half the cost of a rental I had for 8 days. But of course I have to pay the money up front) The said they would pay half of the repairs. I honestly feel like I shouldn't have to pay anything. for 5 weeks I have had to bum rides and borrow cars and call in favors all the while making a car payment on a car sitting in pieces. They aren't in any hurry to fix it and I am going for broke trying to find means of transportation to and from work. The only person who has been helpful at all is Cody at the service desk. But he has no control over what goes on in the shop. I can't get a call back from the manager at all. Do not let them touch your car at all. This has seriously been the worst disaster of my life. read more
