Marshal Mize Ford in Chattanooga is hands down one of the best Ford dealership experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, the sales experience was excellent -- friendly, professional, welcoming, and never pushy. The dealership is clean, well-run, and everyone there makes you feel taken care of. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in creating a great experience. Whether you're buying, looking, or just stopping in, the team makes the process easy and enjoyable. Marshal Mize Ford is always our go-to for the best Ford experience. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great dealership with great people! read more

I would strongly advise not using this dealership. They will bold face lie to you and promise to make things right after they admitted they messed up. After weeks of dodging all commutations and giving us the runaround, I cannot recommend this dealership at all. The level of incompetence and lack of integrity is astounding. I wish I could put zero stars for this review. read more

Good dealer with good people. My sales guys Colin Mooney was very user friendly and knowledgeable. He found me the right truck and the right price and helped me through the entire process. I ended up spending more than I planned, but that's what a good sale person can accomplish. Colin is an asset to the Marshal Mize Ford team. The managers should make sure to keep him. Thanks Colin. read more

Terrible experience with MMF. Flew all the way from New York to Tennessee to pick up a Kia Stinger. Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was a huge patch of paint missing from the front bumper that was not disclosed before I decided to make the trip. Sales manager comped $200 for a $700 paint job. Ill admit they sent a video going around the car before I left and I didnt catch the paint spot, but ultimately feel theres no way they should have missed that and not disclosed it. Not to mention a gash in one of the tires. Theres another $250 repair. Only came with one key fob- comped $250 for a fob that cost $350-500 to get made and programmed. And on top of it all, when they show me the buy order, it was $500 more because they initially did the taxes in the wrong state. I was told numerous things over the phone that were untrue upon arrival and overall just an extremely shady dealership. Learned my lesson on this one. Oh and Gary Phillips the sales manager deserves to be fired and Cory Washington too. As soon as I made it back home ive tried reaching out multiple times and havent heard a peep from either of them. Dont waste your $ with these people theres plenty of better options. read more

I wasn't even gonna post but I feel like I have to. I took my car there back in April or May to have service done on my AC. I have a 2019 Hybrid Ford Fusion. After doing a diagnostic on it they told me that I needed a new blower motor. That whole process took almost 3 weeks because I had to wait on the special dye to come in to check for leaks because they had none at the dealership. Which I thought was weird but I waited anyway. So after everything finally came in and all the work was done my total price ended up being $1100. Fast forward. At the beginning of July my check engine light comes on. I went to Advance Auto to have a digital code scan done on my car and the code came back as P26CE. I asked several people and called a couple places and was told that air may have gotten in my system when Marshal Mize Ford fixed my AC. So I called the dealership to make an appointment to bring my car back in so they can take a look at it. Thinking it would be a simple fix.....they called me back to tell me that my issue was that I needed a new coolant pump and after labor and everything it was gonna be $1600. I thought this was ridiculous immediately because now all of a sudden I have all these problems when I have had the car for 3 years and not a single issue. And I thought it was kinda crazy how they make you feel like they need an answer asap with little time to think about it. So I went on and told them to fix it. A couple days later I get another phone call saying that now the issue was my radiator and it had a leak in it and the radiator was gonna cost me $250 and the labor was gonna be another $1100!!! This was crazy!!! I told them to finish up whatever work they were doing and not to fix the radiator and do nothing else to my car and I was gonna come get it. That same day I went to get my car and took it to a radiator place and the guy there called me and asked me again what exactly did the guys at Marshal Mize Ford tell me was wrong with my car and after I told him he said that I didn't have a leak in my radiator. He did all his tests to check it and nothing! I feel so upset! Now I feel like they got me on the coolant pump too because I feel like I really didn't even need a new one. I feel like they took advantage of me because I was a female. I just think it's wrong how they do people. I will never recommend this place to nobody! read more

Service Department staff were very knowledgeable, courteous and professional! Fast service time.

They did a great job. Will keep using them. My truck came from there & is doing great

Recently had a disappointing experience with this dealership (Marshall Mize Ford). Sales team and Sales Management misrepresented total sales costs during conversations. Attempted to purchase a used car and worked out all numbers (on paper by dealer) for out the door costs. Not at one time did anyone say the deal was contingment on dealer financing nor was it in my sales sheet. Once i declined the dealer financing, which was 1.3% points higher than what I was pre-approved for with local credit union, the dealer said they would not honor the negotiated price (again that was on paper). I spoke to General Sales Manager, Seth, who immediately talked over me and had no interest in working through the situation, instead his suggestion was we should "part ways". Funny how they were motivated to sell me the car on 1/31 and on 2/3 they were ready for me to walk? I should also mention that on 1/31 they were ready to sell me the car but when I spoke to them again on Monday the car was in the shop to be fixed and not available? The whole process was unprofessional and felt like the "cliche" of dealing with a used car salesman - unprofessional read more

This is the second time we have used Marshall for an oil change. This is a business that gives other Ford dealers bad rap! Quoted 450.00 for oil and fuel change and when we get there 500.00. I should have recorded my conversation. They are not trustworthy. Looking to purchase or repairs find another place. read more

I anticipated having my truck returned later in the day but the issue was fixed in 2 hours. Great job

We've been taking our trucks and Escape to Mize for oil changes and tire rotations for years. Always have a good experience and a job well done. This last experience was no exception. I always schedule in advance and I've found their pricing to be competitive with the quick lube franchises who don't even do tire rotations. Our Advisor was great. read more

Callie was extraordinary. She was extremely helpful with my finding and purchasing my new vehicle. The management staff and finance department were also stellar. It was a seamless process and I am delighted with my purchase. read more

Our service rep Eric was very pleasant. He was also knowledgeable and helpful in explaining evrything.

Good experience with the overall process but I have a suggestion to make it great. I've reached out multiple times about a windshield wiper motor recall and have been told the part in not in stock. I finally made an appointment to get the normal service even if the part was not in. Kyle helped me get further in the process by explaining that the part had to be verified and ordered based on the VIN. Mine was verified and ordered. This was the first time I had been told that. Thank you, Kyle. Suggest that the full details be explained over the phone and invite the customer to come in for a regular appointment and verification. read more

Please consider customers that are only able to come and look at potential purchases afterhours or on the weekends. My husband and I were run off the lot this past weekend while car shopping because you all have experienced some theft lately, according to your security guard. She told us that we weren't allowed to be on the lot. I understand your dilemma and appreciate the professionalism of your security guard (she was only doing her job) but am somewhat hesitant to return to your lot to do business. If it is your policy to have no one on the lot on the weekend, please stop customers BEFORE entering the lot altogether and don't allow them to browse. WE, along with a few other customers were on the lot for at least 20 minutes before we were told we weren't allowed there. read more

Be aware of their service department. The service writer gave me a quote of $190 for three services that were "due on my vehicle" When I got the bill, I was charged $469.85 plus tax! Oh, there was also an additional $50 for a "shop fee." I inquired about this fee and was told that was for rags, oil disposal, etc. I proceeded to the payment window where there was a sign informing me that I would be charged an additional 3% service charge if I used a credit card but I could get a discount for cash payment. I asked about this discount and was told that I had already received that discount, (nowhere on the invoice is any discount shown) and that if I used a card, I would be charged an additional 3%! Stay away from this place. Find a Ford dealer who does not play such games! Never will I return to this organization for anything. I have been a Ford owner since the 1960's and never seen this kind of treatment. read more

DO NOT take your car or truck here. They did a so called diagnostic on my my car and quoted me 1500.00 for repairs. They were going to replace 2 heater hoses and an inlet pipe. So I had my car sent to Pep Boys and they replaced the only hose that needed to be replaced and it was not the either of the ones Marshal Mize Ford said. I think Marshal Mize Ford are a bunch of scam artist especially when it comes to a woman bringing in a car for repairs. I will never ever darken their door again. I don't feel I should have even had to pay them for the diagnostic because it was not even correct and I was charged 196.00 for nothing. Ladies beware of this place. If you need work done on your car or truck go to Pep Boys super nice people and very reasonable. I ended up only paying 756.00 at Pep Boys and they repaired the one part that was truly broken on my car. Shame on you Marshal Mize Ford never again will you get my business or any of my friends and family read more

Advertised price was a bait and switch price, actual price $5,000 above Kelly Blue Book listing. This is for Marshal Mize Ford Service. Most disappointing, unnecessary, offensive visit yet. Upon arriving, I get out of my car and I see about 6 guys standing around not doing much and my car is the only car in the port. It took 5 minutes of waiting for someone to come up and offer me service. When my car is finally done being worked on the lady at the reception desk was, in my perspective, being racist. I asked to change the name on my appointments since the car is in my name now and I'm not the person the call out each time I visit. She said I needed to talk to "Joe." And I said "which one is Joe?" and she whispered "the black guy." I walk outside and see 3 black men standing by each other. I should've walked up and said "the lady said Joe is black so which one of you is Joe?" Completely unnecessary. Find new people to work for you or I'll find business elsewhere. read more

I took my Explorer Sport Trac in to have the temperature gauge and shift indicator looked at. The service department told me the thermostat needed replacing and the coolant system needed to be flushed. $900 later it was reportedly fixed. Now here is where the fun starts. The shift indicator was out of alignment, showing R in Park. The techs managed to make it worse during their diagnosis. Now the indicator doesn't move at all. I asked if I still had to pay the $50 for the diagnosis even though the service guy stated that they "made it worse". Yeah, I did. When I left, I was on the highway when I noticed the techs didn't close the hood completely. That was fun. The next evening I went to drive the vehicle when I noticed the headlights were disconnected. I had go out of my way in the morning to take the truck back and have them reconnect the headlights they disconnected during their "repair". Because of the $900 repair from earlier I had $55 in some loyalty points built up. I decided to go ahead and cash those in on an oil change. I was told the oil change was $40. When it was finished it totaled $58 because, "your vehicle uses more oil than we quote". (Then it isn't a good quote is it??) I inquired about this and why I was told an incorrect price and after all of this horrible service could they wash the $3. Nope. At every opportunity to make the right move, the service area chose to do nothing. I can't think of anything good to say about this experience or this dealership and the worst part is, I'm actually looking to buy a new F150 in the next couple of weeks. read more

You ever see one of those movies where the black man walks into a all white establishment and everyone turns to stare, that's pretty much what it felt like coming here. Service department was pretty lousy as far as customer service and customer relations. I'm starting to believe that's all of Chattanooga. Glad I'm not from here. read more

I stood in the service lane to make a service appointment for my high-end Ford that I have taken there before. I was ignored and treated like I was invisible. One attendant didn't get off the phone, another couldn't look away from his computer screen. I was the only one in sight - if they had bothered to even look at me. On a previous visit one attendant had attitude that conveyed he was doing me a favor, but, hey, I can deal with attitude. But this, less than a week ago, was amazingly frustrating and humiliating. I have complained to management, but I don't expect such behavior will change. I even asked a service employee whether I needed to be in my car in order to make an appointment and they said no and that one of the schedulers will help me. That was after they hadn't even looked at me for going on 15 minutes. Even the cashier tried to get their attention to help me - and they ignored her as well. What a travesty. read more

DO NOT SERVICE YOUR CAR HERE!!! We had our truck's (F-150) brakes serviced at Marshal Mize Ford and that's where the problem began. We started to hear this clicking noise that sounded like they were coming from the brakes. We returned to the dealership to see if they could figure out what was causing it. They said that everything was fine and checked out. WRONG! - they forgot to screw back 2 bolts in the caliper that could have caused total brake failure. Marshal Mize Ford, do you see those 2 shiny bolts in the picture that Christian Brothers found it within the 10 minutes they had our car, when you said everything looked good? Christian Brothers advised us not to drive our truck as it was very dangerous and we could have been seriously injured. Shame on you Marshal Mize Ford for your incompetence and negligence. You may not care about our safety or your customers but there are plenty of alternative service locations and dealerships that do. WILL NEVER COME BACK TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP OR FOR SERVICE. read more

Marshal Mize Ford - Car Dealers Near Me - Chattanooga, Tennessee

As soon as I got someone's attention everything went very smoothly and service department staff was very attentive. If I could give zero stars I would. Our bill was ridiculous!! There were a few things wrong with my Explorer... ended up paying $1800. I don't mind paying for work done, but $1000 of that was labor, around $350 parts and the rest was 'miscellaneous charges'. They charged $396 in labor to change 6 spark plugs, that does not include $40 for parts. Labor charges are $180 per hour, and apparently it takes more than 2 hours to change six spark plugs... I wish I earned $180 per hour as a teacher‍. read more

Their service department is a nightmare to deal with. No communication whatsoever unless you call them--they say they'll call you with updates but never do. Since they never call you, you have to call them, only to leave message after message or bounce between operators. If you're lucky to get someone, they are completely incompetent. I was told my car would be checked soon. Never heard back from them and the only updates I got were when I called and they told me it would take longer. They've had my car for two weeks, told me I should be able to pick it up by today, and now they're telling me it'll be another week. Even though they said I should be able to have my car by today and they knew I was going out of town this weekend, they have changed their story again, will offer no solution to getting a car to account for their absence of communication, and simply tell me it's my fault they're not communicating. Avoid this place when purchasing a car--the warranty is NOT worth the incompetence. read more

Jamie was great. Love our new vehicles would definitely recommend.

Initially had problems with service department responsiveness. Gave them a second opportunity which started bad but was quickly remedied by new service manager. Looking for a car. Always friendly and professional. I was in and out within 30 minutes for oil change and tires rotated and everything checked out.

We have bought a few cars here over the years but overall this is a place to stay away from. They never give you the best deal, we have always gotten a better deal from other Ford dealers. Twice, years apart, we went to see cars advertised on their website. Neither time they were there. Once a salesman took it for the weekend on vacation and once it hadn't even shipped although it was listed in stock on their website. Generally I have found them classic shifty car dealers, "let me see what the manager can do", over and over. Twice we asked for a bottom line on cars for our kids, we took that offer cross town and it dropped by over 2,000. They don't seem to want to sell cars or even to be polite. read more
