Communication was clear, the electrician arrived quickly, and he took the time to answer every question I had. He also helped me think through the best options for my situation. But what impressed me most was the honesty. After looking things over, he explained that since I was already having roof work done, the roofing contractor would likely handle the heat-cable removal -- meaning I didn't actually need their service. In other words, they turned down easy money simply because it was the right thing to do. That level of integrity is rare, and it's exactly why I'll be calling them again in the future.

If you are allergic to dust or mold they will purposely put your life at risk and make you clean out shipping containers and not think about your medical conditions. Kyle forced me to clean containers covered with dust and mold was told to suck it up and that you cannot be that allergic Happened to me multiple times caused me to have a asthma attack and almost had to go to the er. Also the owner cannot even keep track what day of the week it is is always on his phone he will tell you to have a good weekend and it's Monday am shows ya how in sink with his own company he really is. OSHA violations everywhere on the property 3 people have been injured to a loading dock he refuses to fix me being one of them and also my father who works there and another employee. Half the materials he sells are junk or damaged majorly due to him not knowing how to run a machine I cannot tell you how many times a day we would get stuck fixing stuff he messed up. I had someone I know get material from their and the shingles were junk water damaged from sitting outside and when he open the 2nd pack it had Algae growing on it. He gets the felt from overseas it's made in India gets it very cheap and then jacks the price. You want molded boxes of resisto or ice and water theirs plenty of that there. The place is very disorganized to like serious lack of communication. Also he can't keep work and home life separated has issues in his marriage was sleeping with his secretary and got caught by his wife at work in the truck so what's that tell ya about how he treats his female employees! This dude has no respect for other people. Told me I was a safety risk and fired me while he was in Texas at a business convention was not even mad enough to fire me in person and his reason for firing me was a crop of shit. I found out after the fact he fired me beocuse I stood up for myself and did not take his verbal abuse and getting in my face he got mad Becouse he could not get away with the way he treated me like he treated other employees. I busted my ass when I worked their made sure job orders were build and stayed late sometimes to make sure materials were sent out on semis on time for customers! He makes himself look good but on the inside he treats his employees like they are unvalued team members!

We used GEM for a commercial relamping project -- nothing complicated, just replacing fixtures…read more From the very beginning, things were off. GEM hired a subcontractor to do the actual work and handled the ordering of the new lights themselves. Not all the agreed-upon work was completed, and I had to repeatedly push just to get all of the lights replaced. Since then, the lights have been failing at an alarming rate -- we now have dozens that no longer work. After several calls to GEM, they finally sent two replacement lights. I followed up to ask when those would be installed, and that was the last we ever heard from them. No returned calls, no responses to texts -- nothing. I've tried to be patient and reasonable, but this level of service and follow-through is unacceptable. Avoid GEM at all costs.

I have even talked to Frank (who someone said was the owner or manager). He takes all the information, and then I never hear from him again. The only reason I've called three times is it's listed under "electrician" in my directory at home and each time I forget they never do the work. I start with them and then, after calling and calling, I move on. This last time I had two very nice conversations with a guy who stayed late and then PROMISED someone would call me in the morning. No go. My garage lights, one month and several phone calls later, are still out. So, goodbye Gem Electric. I won't miss you or your friendly phone reps who promise they'll "send someone right out." Don't waste your time with these people. They don't care, they just pretend to. Obviously they don't need the money. Frank must be rolling in cash. Maybe he married well. Who knows? Who cares? I just want to be able to see in my garage.

If you're looking for high quality furniture that will last a lifetime, Sedlak's is a one stop…read moreshop! I had been looking for a television stand for a newly purchased 75 inch Samsung and was conflicted about where to buy one. After searching online for area furniture stores, Sedlak's caught my eye and I decided to pay them a visit at their Solon location. The store is inconspicuous from the street and more closely resembles a hotel or country club from the outside. Upon walking in I was greeted by a kind lady at a desk and she directed me down a hall to the back of the store. This place is absolutely massive! There are numerous sections, each of which specializes in different home furnishings. The variety is extensive and offers a vast assortment of items. I found the section that has televison stands and after roughly 15 minutes decided on an attractive wood and glass stand with cabinets. I found a sales clerk who was more than helpful and collected my information. She then advised that the stand would be delivered in one piece, which would spare me the time of having to assemble it. She advised that the delivery would be carried out within a week and guided me to the front to submit payment. One I submitted payment, a delivery date was agreed upon for the following Monday (4 days) and I left. Sedlak's contacted me the day prior to the scheduled delivery to confirm. On the day of the delivery, two Sedlak's professionals contacted me upon arrival and I let them in. They carefully setup the stand and were even kind enough to place the television on it. The stand is of inpeccable quality and the customer service was top tier! I am happy with my purchase and would definitely buy from them again!
