WOW!!! After.loomkng at flooring for the last 6 months we…read morewere almost ready to give up.. Making a big decision like this can certainly be stressful. Fortunately, we had the "Perfect Storm". Flooring, sales, and installation, all came together! I thought we'd spend another 6 months looking. And we thought of putting it off until next year, but the Holidays are coming and we wanted friends and family to be able to enjoy the "transformation". Our Salesman Chris, was the best!! He patiently took the time to show us items that we both liked and came to an agreement on. After 6 months, I can now enjoy our fantastic new flooring! And I get my weekends back :) Thank you Chris, for all your help and hard work! And thanks to The Florring Store for the service, product, and installation!! I can recommend The Florring Store 100%.

I want to start off by saying the floor that was installed is beautiful and is exactly what we…read moreasked for. Now for the underwhelming part. Being told that our floor would be fully installed in 4-5 days max, then my 4 month old baby, my wife and myself were displaced from our home for 19 days is only of the many issues we had to deal with. Some of my wives small delicate figurines we're broken when a shelf was dropped, a large plant dropped in our living room and the soil was thrown into our kitchen sink (sink will not drain, see pictures below). Half way through the job, the installers were sent to another job for allegedly for a day or two to finish up another job but ended up being 3 days. My wife and the installation supervisor Tony had multiple conversations about potential job timeline completion, and after speaking to the sales agent at The Floor Store (Gio) about conversations about Tony and his potential end date for our house, turns out Tony told the sales agent that he never had those conversations with my wife. Yes, essentially calling my wife a liar. After a week of situating ourselves back into our home, only to try and do dishes in our soil clogged sink, I can't justify leaving more than 1 star on this review, even if the floor is really, really nice!

Selecting the Right Vendor Makes All the Difference…read more Our project: Upgrade existing LVP bathroom flooring to ceramic tile/high-quality water-resistant grout, over an existing Schluter Systems DITRA-HEAT system. USA Carpet & Vinyl provided: *Expert Knowledge - especially regarding the D-H product, and expertise on the appropriate solutions per the vendor's specifications *Careful Approach - Following tile installation, D-H worked as before without issue; site was left spotless and free of damage *Excellent Customer Communication (in person, phone, text, or email) - quick, accurate, professional *Goes Above & Beyond: - Sourcing high-quality materials, including quickly finding & getting what we wanted from two other states! - Willingness to travel extra mileage to obtain additional materials, to avoid a long shipping delay/further home life disruption - Installer's excellent esthetic suggestion to replace wooden kick board with additional tile - which looks amazing!

Out of all the stores, they were the most reasonably priced and didn't come across as "sales-y." I worked mostly with Richard, who was very professional and communicative. He was always responsive, explained things well, and kept the process moving along, even when we needed to tear out old tile and level some of the floors. At the end of the day, we were really happy with the quality of the work and how it all turned out.

Mona suggested waterproof flooring matching kitchen cabinets and counter tops. She came to the house to take measurements and I got a proposal next day. After 2 days of work my kitchen looks upscale. The manager said all the flooring was just as good but unfortunately this doesn't actually give us comparable facts (veneer thickness, overall thickness of flooring, etc.). My feeling is that the brands here are limited. I looked up a brand of flooring they recommended and it was a lower end brand probably made in China. That may be just fine but I am also weary about off-gassing. Where the product is made and where the materials come from does matter to me. I'm currently looking at online venders where products come from Sweden that actually end up being similarly priced with very little off-gassing and is sustainable. I found some good contractors off Angi online and will be overseeing the project myself. While the quote given to me was reasonable (9500) for the first floor of my home, I would feel more comfortable having more choices in the material that I walk on and breath in everyday.

We had MSI Trecento XL Carrara Avell flooring installed throughout our home, and the finished flooring is absolutely beautiful. It has transformed our home, the new baseboards look great, and we are very happy with the overall result. The installation did take considerably longer than expected due to scheduling delays, the extensive floor preparation that was needed, and later an unexpected shortage of flooring material. The amount of dust generated during the work also made it necessary for us to stay in a hotel for 11 nights. What I especially appreciated was how Rudy handled the difficulties. He remained professional, listened to our concerns, apologized for the problems we experienced, and worked with us on compensation that covered much of our hotel expense. That willingness to listen and work toward a fair resolution made a big difference to us. Our advice to anyone planning a large flooring project would be to discuss scheduling, crew availability, dust containment, and material planning in detail beforehand. Renovations can have unexpected complications, but ultimately what matters is both the quality of the finished work and how a company responds when problems arise. We love our new floors and are very happy with how beautiful our home looks now.

There were a few spots where the hardwood was decaying. I've heard that this flooring (5/16 x 2 in hardwood) can be difficult to remove in sections without damaging the areas around them, and can result in awkward patches that look noticeably different. But he did it so well that we couldn't tell where the old hardwood stopped and the new one began. He also worked with us to figure out what kind of stains worked best for our home and created a few samples on our actual hardwood. Not only that, but I stupidly messed up the stain on one section by dropping some cleaning chemicals on it before it fully cured, and he came back and refinished the section. He did this while refusing extra fees and on a short timeline (we wanted to move into the house). Even after the project, he's been extremely helpful in helping me understand how to care for my floors and advising on other projects. I've never met a contractor that is so professional and generous with his knowledge. He also came in as the middle quote out of the contractors that provided estimates. Worth every penny and more. Overall in terms of quality, speed, communication, cost, and professionalism, Thach cannot be beat.

We recently bought a 1957 rancher with red oak hardwood floors that had lived under carpet for decades. When the carpet was removed we found rooms with dark stains, paint mist, and yellowed old finish. We fully expected that we would have to replace some areas of wood based on the appearance. Thach miraculously sanded out all of the imperfections to reveal the beautiful hardwood floors below! We are stunned with the beautiful results and highly respect Thach's work ethic and dedication to doing exemplary work. His pricing was very reasonable and he is very pleasant and courteous to interact with. We highly recommend him without hesitation!!
