This company is absolute trash. I placed a request for roadside assistance for a blowout on my RV through my emergency roadside service for a tow/replace. They answered saying they'd be there ETA 10:34am EST. They didn't show. I called multiple times. And kept getting told should be 30 min.... 45 min passed still nothing. This same event kept repeating itself until I called and they said, "oh you have a spare? Well we can swap." I said sure ok, I've been stuck here since 10:50pm the night before now past the 12 hours of being stuck on i-75. After another hour or so a driver finally shows up, he called and talked to someone about it and said, "oh the owner will come out and personally handle this with the heavy truck, just in case. Should be about 30 minutes as it's a big truck and slow." Ok.. 35 minutes passed and no show... I called, the dispatcher couldn't reach the driver and said she would try to follow up.. NOTHING. Another 20 minutes passed. I called my insurance again, they called and were told it would be 30 more minutes he was on a call... 45 minutes passed, STILL NOTHING... After another hour of waiting (now it's 3:45pm EST) with still not help or communication. I call Marks Towing again.. this time they said, well because of the blowout we can't tow.. so you need to call your insurance and get someone else" What the f.............. From 10:34 am until 3:45pm I've been stuck out here on i-75 in 90 degree heat waiting and being strung along for a job they knew they couldn't handle or want to do.. wanted my day.. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.. or you may never get anywhere you need to be. They kept me from my 6 month old daughter and wife all day waiting for them 1.5 hours from my home stranded with zero cares.. If I could give Marks Towing 10 stars, I would. They went above and beyond to make sure to get my car to a dealership and to make sure I was safe at a hotel. There was a bad accident on Highway 75 which caused traffic to come to a complete stop for over eight hours and I was stranded at a weigh station with semi trucks. I had four other tow companies cancel on me due to the amount of traffic and accessibility. David my driver made sure no matter what to come and after 10+ hours he arrived. He got my car strapped in, drove me around to multiple hotels that were all booked and I finally git into one that was safe and clean. On top of that, he took my car to the dealership and left the keys there in the dropbox. It is not every day you find a company with employees that go above and beyond like David did. I had a minor emergency while on my way to work on a Sunday morning. The call was answered quickly, politely, and all information was relayed with excellent customer service. I was dreading making the call as I did not have AAA or any other service to cover the towing charge but knew I did not have any option. Before the truck arrived, the driver called and asked me to explain what was happening with my vehicle, and to my surprise, he suggested a fix. It not only worked but had me back on my way in just a few minutes. Any other service would have known the issue, shown up, and charged me for a quick fix. I offered to pay for the service charge and was more than surprised when he told me "No charge" for today! Broke down on I-75, called a local shop and got a phone number for a tow, turned out to be Mark's. Had a 1 ton truck pulling a 11,000 pound 5th wheel. They showed up with a 1 ton Dodge to pull the 5th wheel and a roll back for the truck. Suggested and took me and the Mrs. to the local campground with the coach, took the truck to the service center, hauled me back and forth to get the truck checked in and back to the coach. Nothing but a crew of guys understanding that you're in trouble and providing a service plus. The towing charge of $370 was not out of line for 30 miles of towing and the 2 hours from start to pulling away. IF you are in a bind and around Ocala, FL, these guys will not gouge you and wil go above and beyond. read more

My daughter from Nebraska broke done on I-75 at 11pm at night with her 3 children. She was on her way to Ocala for he Dad's celebration of life. As soon as I got her call I called Mark's Towing he couldn't come out till in the morning. Which was fine. But he did tell me to call Road Rangers & FHP so that at least someone would be there with her and the grandkids till I got to them. Thank you so much for that. At 8 am the next morning they called and told us the car would be at my house soon. Cody F. was the driver and was very kind and mannerly. The cost was reasonable. while stuck on the side of I-75, I called marks towing in desperate need of help. upon calling, I spoke to a women who seemed to be too distracted to care about my call. several times I tried giving her my location, and she kept asking me to hold on, so she could tend to a crying child in the background. I typically wouldn't mind this, but seeing as I was stuck on a very busy highway, it became very frustrating. I told her never mind and that I would call a different company to come assist me. The other company I called had no problem getting all of my information, and sending a tow truck to me in less than 20 minutes. it seems marks employees are too distracted with their personal life. read more

Upon calling for estimate to fix a flat on my SUV, I mentioned to dispatch that my spare tire is underneath the truck and if the Tow Guy would be able to satisfy the job. She responded "absolutely he wouldn't be with us if he couldn't!" We both laughed, and he was dispatched out within 30 minutes. He arrives and made several attempts to unlock the spare but was unsuccessful. Instead he puts air in the tire and followed me to my local tire shop 500 feet away. My buddy fixed my tire and the Tow Guy told me I owed him regular price $55. I contact his boss "DON" that disputed with me for 10 minutes how it was "my fault that the lock didn't unlock bc it has to be broken!" The Tow Guy asked my buddy at the tire shop to attempt to unlock the spare lock while he was present and within 1 minute he unlocked it! He told the Tow Guy he was using the wrong end of the tool! Tow Guy he wouldn't charge me if it was his fault. I paid the Tow Guy $20 anyway and called his boss DON back to confirm the clarity and that he owed me an apology. Well, "DON" the BOSS at "MARK'S TOWING & ROADSIDE located 720 NW 30th Ave , Ocala Fl 34475 simply hung the phone up in my ear! *I will blow my tire up with a straw before I call these guys again! read more
