Mark's is always a great place to eat! I've been enjoying Mark's for years, both for lunch takeout and dinner on site. This time, we shared crab cakes and fried pickles as an appetizer and then enjoyed a delicious steak sandwich. We had great service and enjoyed every minute.

This place is a well oiled machine. Wow--everyone hustles here. We stopped in on a Friday and had fish: one haddock fry and the other broiled. Everything was on point. The broiled fish was cooked perfectly to temp and well seasoned. The fried fish--loved the batter and that it's not greasy. It really was a great fry and please don't ever remove the crinkle fries from the menu. They are these best.

Fantastic dinner at Marks East side. Some places are just classic, and this is one of them. The ambiance is classic supper club and it's an experience. Food was fantastic. We had the jaegerschnitzle and the eisbein (pork hock) with Bavarian Scotch eggs. It was a great meal. Our server was so friendly, while working like two people with the full house. Marks is a bucket list item you need to try.

We went for corn beef & cabbage on St. Patrick's Day. It was excellent! And they had draught Guinness to boot! Service was quick. We sat in a section of high top tables in the bar. The bar is quite cosy and comfortable. It was a good time.

The best supper club in the Appleton area. The menu is diverse enough to accommodate all tastes and the German fare is spot on.

Good food and service. Had a few nice drinks and the bar and met some nice folks before getting seated.

Super good German food and I loved trying all the different types of beers they had available on tap. McLovin was my favorite beer.

When you're ready to order, let the bartender know and you get a number. This indicates to your server you're ready to order. At this point you may be into your second + cocktail. Just go with the flow, you're at a Bavarian themed super club! Waitress will take your order and call you to your table when ready. Just go ahead, step up to the beautifully maintained salad bar with the best pickled beets, chopped chicken liver and soft cheese. We finished our salad and our appetizer of shrimp de'jonghe arrived bubbly and smelling of garlic. I had the tenderloin rare with the spaetzle my husband had the tenderloin tips, grilled shrimp and salmon trio. The salmon was the winner! Get taste and so moist. Just a fun supper club atmosphere, we're you belly up to meet strangers who become friends. Enjoy!!

Going through some outdoor renovations right now, so don't judge the book by its cover. Inside this is a cute, well decorated German themed bar and restaurant. Bartenders are friendly and they have a full list of martinis and other specialty drinks to choice from (my wife loved her Lemon Drop Martini) including many after-dinner ice cream drinks! As far as German food, I didn't know that there were so many ways to make Schnitzel! My wife and I both ordered the Schnitzel Trio, which included a regular veal schnitzel, one with asparagus and Holliday Sauce and another called the Black Forrest. I liked them all, but would have to say the plain old regular one was my favorite. Dinners include a well stocked build your own salad bar. All meals also came with a choice of side which included sauerkraut, spatzel or potato. Meal was great, had fun at the bar with the locals and loved the service. Cash only however!

They had a great salad bar included with every dinner, bread, and a good choice of sides. My wife ordered the blackberry blue cheese pork loin. She was disappointed with her meal, as the pork wasn't seasoned, and the freezer blackberries (not a sauce, as advertised), were overpowered by the large amount of blue cheese. My prime rib special was great! It was advertised as a 12 ounce, but this must have been a full pound. Perfectly cooked medium rare with a seasoned edge, and swimming in a delicious au jus. I also had horseradish on top. The onion rings I ordered as a side also went well as a topping. The Old Fashioneds were good, but not great. If you're going to charge $7, might as well muddle some cherries instead of using a mix. Not a major conlmplaint, but that little extra touch is nice. Their lack of business concerns me- hopefully they do more weekend/fish fry business, but this is a nice place you should check out if you're nearby.
