We came to Taverne on Woodlake specifically for their craft cocktails based on recommendations from…read moresome friends and were not disappointed. I ended up getting the Old Fashion and the Fuego Margarita both of which were soooo gooooood! The old Fashion was made with Russels reserve 10 year Bourbon (a recognized excellent Bourbon by the experts), Cooper and Kings Brandy, Whistle PiggyBack Rye whiskey, Blackberry and Angostura bitters. This combination of components are not what you would normally see in a classical Old Fashion but man do they form an amazing and tasty Old fashion albeit a tad on the sweet side. Absolutely delicious. The Fuego Margarita is made with a blanco tequila, 21 seed cucumber, Jalapeño, lime juice, Solerno orange liquor and Agave. I have had this drink on a cruise in the past which was quite good where the secret is to balance the Jalapeño/cucumber with the liquor so it does not overpower the drink and man did they nail it. This was absolutely a must try margarita if you are a fan of the drink due to its unique components and how well they complement each other. Top shelf all day long!! Overall a great afternoon drinking excursion that I cant wait to repeat and highly recommend for anyone into Craft cocktails where the emphasis is on Craft with this bar. Two huge thumbs up! No

Sometimes they have a golden bloody Mary, which is made with yellow tomatoes this also very tasty. A bonus is that you can choose any beer on tap for your chaser. Get the burger and truffle fries. Spent the weekend at the American Club and loved the ability to eat at several different…read morerestaurants within the same resort. Each one is distinct, with its own menu and atmosphere. The Horse and Plow is a great spot if you have a group or family where noise is not a bug but a feature. We came here on our second evening around 7:00 for dinner. Food: The menu has a good selection of beverages and pub-style food. There is an extensive list of whiskeys, including bourbon and rye, lots of beers, and some specialty cocktails. We settled on a draft beer and the Plum Crazy cocktail, which was super yummy. For food, they offer appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, and a fish fry. There is even a Wagyu flat iron steak if you are interested in paying $75. We decided on the Double Butter Smashburger with truffle fries and the Walleye Fish Fry. The burger was good, although it could have been cooked a bit more to create more caramelized edges. The bun was good, but a bit too much bread for me, so I ate it open-faced. The truffle fries were delicious and could have been a meal in themselves. The walleye was battered and breaded with good texture, and the fish was flaky. I felt it was a bit overcooked, and the last several bites were very tough. Service: We did not have a reservation, and there were no tables available when we arrived. We took a spot at the bar, where the bartender got us an order of drinks. The service, both at the bar and at the table, was efficient but not especially friendly or outgoing. The food came out nice and hot, waters were kept full, and the check arrived promptly after the meal was finished. For those looking for a pub experience, this is a good spot. However, being at the American Club, I think I was looking for more of an elevated experience. This felt more like a place for a quick meal than somewhere I would feel compelled to return to. Atmosphere: It is a pub, and that is exactly what you get. It was very noisy at times, especially as larger groups were enjoying themselves.

FISH Sadly, they were already out if bluegill, which was my planned order- i panic ordered perch. I should have gotten cod. Fish have bones & you're bound to find a few - but I'm pretty sure one of the filets had more bones than meat. The breading was spotty with large areas not breaded & half the fish was, well, fishy. I (along with 3/4 of the table) appreciated the option to get German Potato Salad or Potato Pancakes instead of the standard fries. The buttered marble rye was also a hit with most. I stopped eating the perch on piece 2 of 4. I went to the potato pancakes, which were pretty good, as was the German Potato Salad. The coleslaw was ok. While I'm not mad at $80 after tip. Service was alright. Water was filled once empty. Bill was brought out promptly. No mention of dessert & I spaced it out. Since we're now 2hrs away... oops

We finally got a table after a 1/2 hour wait, we looked at their website before deciding to eat here, so we knew what we wanted. They brought our order, it was wrong, they gave us 2 brat pasties. My wife hates cheddar cheese, they tried to make it right. Watch out for overcharge on extras? like marinara sauce and cheddar cheese dip, these should be included, as gravy is included. A dollar more for the sweet potato fries, than shown in the menu. Nice personality, just why do this is tourists and tourism. Good pasties, but at a cost.

The Watershed Hotel was the perfect spot! Our stylish, immaculate room overlooked the Sheboygan River. Sheboygan's not large and the Watershed is just a few minutes from the town's historical downtown. We're looking forward to returning to Sheboygan and another stay at the WH!

At all. The room itself was ok. No tissues, no phone, one single deadbolt lock. The worst was the layout of the step-in shower. In a bold move the designers thought it was a good idea to have just one side of the shower door open so when you turn on the water you can't help but get soaked. Even if you hold the detachable shower head you have to let it go at some point so you can get out and let the water warm up. When you do, it flies around like a garden hose. I got soaked. Ridiculous. I checked out a day early. I was out of patience. Even at $120/night. I'll pass next time.
