The Watershed Hotel was the perfect spot! Our stylish, immaculate room overlooked the Sheboygan River. The hotel itself is modern, elegant, and spotless with an airy lobby where a continental breakfast is available each morning. The hotel staff--led by GM Bailey--is friendly and helpful. Sheboygan's not large and the Watershed is just a few minutes from the town's historical downtown. We're looking forward to returning to Sheboygan and another stay at the WH!

Just ok. Out of the way in a decent quiet area. New hotel. I had a room with a river view but never…read moreopened the curtains because the room was on the ground floor in back, out of view of anyone. Despite the seemingly safe area this didn't feel safe. At all. The room itself was ok. No tissues, no phone, one single deadbolt lock. The worst was the layout of the step-in shower. In a bold move the designers thought it was a good idea to have just one side of the shower door open so when you turn on the water you can't help but get soaked. Even if you hold the detachable shower head you have to let it go at some point so you can get out and let the water warm up. When you do, it flies around like a garden hose. I got soaked. Ridiculous. I checked out a day early. I was out of patience. Even at $120/night. I'll pass next time.

But saying I slept would…read morebe a flat out lie because they are way too stiff and every movement shakes the entire ding bed as if you were in a canoe. I can't sleep in them. It's 2 am and I just had to get up and write this review because I have been rolling around and feeling like I am trying to sleep in a damn canoe They are cheap beds and because of this my son and I could not sleep. It's those kind of beds where you feel the edge of the bed dip as if it feels uneven, you know where you feel it's not level and tipping down at an angle on its sides. It's one of those beds where it's not only stiff and shaky but because it's so stiff, your head tilts up on your pillow because thee is no give in the bed. It's like putting a pillow on Fred Flintstone's bed only it shakes and feels uneven. He had an 8am soccer game for a big tournament and we could not sleep on these cheap ass beds. Not cool when you come to a hotel and the most important function when you are away from home is sleep and you can't get any. This is piss poor execution and taking shortcuts on their furniture. Pisses me off coming here..

I cannot explain how wonderful our event coordinator, Cali, was from the very beginning. She helped to make it a fun and uneventful party. We seldom eat out due to life threatening food allergies. Cali was on top of it. She assured me that they could handle it since all of the food is made from scratch. And they can control it from the beginning. It was wonderful and safe for all. She made sure things ran smoothly and everyone had a wonderful time. We started with minestrone soup which the pasta was substituted with rice. It was so yummy. And then followed with their Greek salad. She made sure to bring the dressing on the side. Their Greek dressing needs to be bottled and sold. We are still talking about how good it was. Then came dinner. She made sure everyone with allergies was taken care of and their food was safe. Even the little kids ate their food. The bartender efficient and the mixed drinks were well made. Cali listened to ALL of my questions and concerns and respected what I had to say. She did not judge my concerns; she just took care of them. I cannot say thank you enough.

There are not many brunches i know of worth 20.95 except American Club and are worth it. Needless to say food was not very good. Broast chicken was luke warm and dry. Gyro meat was dry. Ribs tough.mashed potatoes tasteless. The chef carved beef was fatty and full of grisle. The bacon definately was cooked possibly a day or 2 in advance as it was just luke warm and had a refridrated taste. Saving grace was the carved ham, fresh prepared omelet from kitchen and beer mosa. Never again will i seek a brunch out.

The place is actually very large with both indoor and outdoor seating. It was a very busy Saturday but I was able to quickly order a Busy Beaver Latte. They also have a case of fresh sides like fruit salad and potato salad. In addition, there's a menu of things to order. It's pretty much all fried, which is a bit of a bummer. There's stuff by the pound, dinners and sandwiches. When we were here, I got a pike sandwich with fries, and my partner got a krab cake sandwich with fries, with a few cans of pop. Both sandwiches came with a slice of cheese, lettuce, and tartar sauce. The sandwiches were both perfectly fine. Simple, but good. Like a Filet-o-fish but fresher tasting. The not-crab meat is a bit disappointing but you know what you're in for when you see it's spelled with a "k". The fries were super good though, hot, crispy, salty with a good dash of seasoning. There's no seating, it's very much a take away/shop combo. I wouldn't go running to this place immediately, but if you like fish this place is worth checking out.
